description
FUEL is set in an alternate present in which whole swathes of the globe have been ravaged by the effects of climate change brought on by decades of environmental abuse. Here oil prices have rocketed and yet a new breed of racing junkie takes to the wastelands, pitting their grungy home-tuned vehicles against each other in an all-new extreme sport as they compete to win fuel supplies. To triumph means travelling the wastelands to challenge the best; from the tsunami-wrecked pacific coast through the Nevada wastelands, including the Grand Canyon, up treacherous snow-capped mountains, thick forests, arid deserts, abandoned lakeside resorts and much more.

Interesting.... ...for a while, then gets repetitive. There are some nice innovations and interesting vehicles in here. That said, if you're a hardcore racer, get this. It'll keep you satisfied for a while. If you are the occasional racer, then go with PGR4, DiRT2 or Forza 3.
Good for the casual gamer Fuel is fun for a bit, but gets repetitive fast. Some areas of the map during the daytime are too bright to see anything, even if you darken your screen's brightness level. I suppose this could be considered one of those strange weather phenomenons that take place throughout the game, but I just found it annoying. I mean, if the character has a shaded visor or face shield on his helmet, why can't the player benefit from that too? Lots of races. Lots of wasted time finding things on the humongous map. The novelty of the large map wears off quick. It's not a terrible game, but it's not fantastic either.
Fuel This game provides a vast area to roam and slides, jump and burn around until your thumbs get sore. The game play is more realistic than most driving games and is quite involving when you change views. Awesome fun.
Good Game ... but the motivation isnt very high. It gives the phrase "open world" a new defination. Thats for sure. But I'm missing the multiplayer in this game.
Good thing this time Codemasters, next time make it better. Thanks
Pretty average The whole concept of this game sounds good, however i didnt find this to be very good. Driving around the open world is fun at the beginning but gets boring after a while.
The graphics are average in places and most of the vehicles feel the same and there isnt much sense of speed.
The addition of weather effects are cool however dont really add much to the game as the gameplay is lacking.
In summary, fuel did not deliver well on the features mentioned in the game. The concept of an open world racing game with crazy weather features is good but wasnt executed well.
