Story
As super ninja Ryu Hayabusa, you roam the world and hunt down the Demon Statue that was stolen by the Black Spider Ninja Clan to prevent the resurrection of the evil Archfiend. From Tokyo to New York, follow Ryu as he encounters vicious enemies and acquires an extensive assortment of ninja weaponry along the way.

Great sequel to a great game As I am a big fan of the Ninja Gaiden series (played it on XBox, XBox 360 and PS3), my opinion of the game might be considered biased.
But what a game. There is an obvious improvement in the graphics, gameplay, weaponry, and playability.
My favorite thing is the addition of gruesome de-limbing of fiends. This makes for the kill to be a lot more satisfying.
The game has also improved with the addition of the new characters (with the option of Co-op play) but turns out that the all other playable characters are girls. Like the previous game, the girls aren't as resilient or agile as Ryu himself and don't possess the wide range of weaponry. But it has to be mentioned, that the variety of skills of the other characters are a big improvement from the previous game.
Either way, it was a fantastic game (2 thumbs waaay up), as was expected.
Can't wait for some serious DLC (fingers crossed).
The best gaiden ever made Well, you have all heard that this game was on XBOX 360 which is true.
To be honest,I had already fully played the game on 360, but the experience on PS3 is far greater.
There are two major differences: more boobs and less blood.
The possibility to play with the girls is awesome, but the best thing ofthis game is the team missions mode that wasnt availableon 360.
Well, i am still trying to go through the legendary ninja missions to get my trophy, and trust me, this is tough,but with a friend,its rather fantastic.
Even in death, you llstill have fun til you beat the missions you need.
So,even if u have the 360 game, i would still suggest to get the sigma 2 version asap.
The best gaiden ever made so far.
P.S. you can even switch costumes for all the charachters throughout the game which is rather fun too...
The ultimate ninja gaiden 2 version More weapons, more ninja girls, more missions, more extras, much better graphics... this game is the true ninja gaiden 2 and it's only on playstation, is a must buy.
