- Classic Wolfenstein multiplayer with an occult twist reminiscent of the heart-pounding and award winning class and objective based multiplayer of Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
- Amazing enemies the Nazis throw at you next as they bring their dark fantasies to life.
- Epic combat moments that unfold in movie-like action sequences as you fight to prevent the Nazis from unleashing the power of the Black Sun, a war-ending weapon of supernatural mass destruction.
- Unique environments overlapping this world and the Veil, a world between our reality and the occult underworld that offers you combat advantages but also new supernatural threats.
- The ability to battle with a diverse collection supernatural 'Veil Powers,' as well as Allied and Axis conventional weapons, all upgradable via an in-game black market.
description
Wolfenstein brings the Nazis dark obsession with the occult to life with epic action and harrowing shooter combat. Use a powerful arsenal of both definitive and occult-enhanced Axis & Allied weapons to beat back a supernatural Nazi force that is full of surprises. You play as BJ Blazkowicz, a highly decorated member of the Office of Secret Actions (OSA). You are sent on a special mission into the heart of the Reich to investigate evidence that the Nazis may possess a new and mysterious power. While behind enemy lines, you discover the Nazis have done much more than develop a new toy. The Nazis are harnessing the power of the Black Sun through a dark parallel dimension called The Veil; in order to create a weapon of war-ending mass destruction. You are the only one that can stop them and save the world from their perverse domination.

Really fun FPS game
this is NOT a AAA title, but it is a really fun A FPS title from the Raven. They also did Quake 4, but this much better than Quake 4 I think.
I really enjoyed the single player campaign. it was balanced, and the combat was really great.
I loved the weapons, which you can upgrade and customize! The weapons were really great and felt like they had weight to them. Too many games, even big ones like COD which I do like, often feels and sounds like you are a shooting a paintball gun. Some of guns sound amazing, and one of the upgrades was a silencer which I hated using becuase the un-silenced version was so ear ringing spectacular.
The very last boss fight was probably the worst and a little bit of a disappointment after playing through rest of the game.
people DO NOT need to look at this as a "wolfenstien" game.
EVERY Wolf game has been made by someone else.
id Software only made the 1st one. All the other have been made by differnt companies. To say this doesnt feel like a Wold game is nonsense. It feels like a Raven Software game (who made Quake 4 and Singularty, Jedi Knight, Star Voyager, etc etc, ) and that's a good thing. They make a fun solid single player experience and always have from their very first games like Heritic and Hexen

Wolfenstein is back. But is it good?
Wolfenstein in many older gamer's hearts play a special role with what at that time was a cutting edge gameplay and presentation.
Coming into the current generation, people weren't that kind to Wolfenstein with more staple franchises that has now taken it's former spot.
You can expect to see pretty standard stuff on Wolfenstein with little elements that make it refreshing. However those moments are too little too rare to make this game a standout (especially considering where it stood before as a franchise).
Recommended if you are a shooter genre fan as you'll learn to appreciate the little things, however if you are just a casual fan only wanting the best of the best, this game will likely not satisfy your needs.

Good Game with Some Minor Flaws
Wolfenstein is a fun game. It might not do a whole lot of new things to the genre but it does mix a great blend of old and new. I recommend Wolfenstein to FPS gamers that are tired of Call of Duty style shooters, and miss the old Doom, Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein shooters.
