Sengoku BASARA 3! HERE WE GO!!
In both narrative and gameplay, a significant leap over its predecessors. All the characters feel unique and play very differently. The story mode has multiple paths, and multiple endings for each of the 16 playable characters. Although some of the stories get quite serious and emotional at times, the game still manages ...

description
Featuring unique playable characters, as well as supporting generals who will make it easier to command and lead armies, players will see the battle from the perspective of each military commander with the ultimate goal of re-writing history to rule all of 16th century Japan. In the dynamic new "Hero's Story" mode, the player's decisions impact history with a redesigned story mode. Based on choices made by the player, new drama unfolds as friends become enemies, enemies become friends, and a new Sengoku story unfolds. Adding a new strategic element to the game, forces can fight for control/taking over of camps and ultimately entire battlefields.

SB3 has taken everything great about the previous games and made them even better. The graphics look great and the music fits perfectly with the highly stylized Sengoku peroid. The only problem i had at all was the fact that they took out a lot of the really fun characters to play.

The Sengoku Basara series makes its PS3 debut and does not disappoint. This game takes place after the events of the second game and focuses largely on the feud between Tokugawa Ieyasu and Ishida Mitsunari. Despite the comical and over-the-top nature of the Basara series, the plot concerning some of the characters are in fact quite touching and sombre. Gameplay-wise it manages to be an extremely fun and action-packed hack and slash as expected. Each character plays very differently and has his/her own unique move set and attributes. The game also has good replay value as there are characters to unlock, items to create and plenty of trophies and titles to obtain. The only major disappointment I have with the game is the noticeable amount of characters which are featured in the game but are not playable.

Addictive and stylish gameplay just keeps you going.
Fast-paced nature of combat just makes you want to keep that combo-counter going up and up. Characters are all very unique, charismatic and fun to play, although a few characters are quite weak and difficult to use.
The story has taken a more serious tone as compared to the previous few installments, as well as less narrative and slightly more character centric, but alternate routes which are unlocked after completing each story once still offer quite some laughs and amusement.
Overall, this is definitely a game I did not regret buying.
