Could be better The controls and camera are a bit clunky (adds to the scare factor?) and the graphics are dated. But if you can look past its flaws you will find a "nice" horror game.
Finally, A Real Survival Horror for PS3 Siren is a full packed thrilling horror video game about surviving. Although the graphic is far less behind than RE 5, overall, it's better than RE 5....Because the true survival horror factor....
One of the Truly Scary Survival Horror Games... Despite it's flaws, if you're a true survival horror fan, this is a definite MUST-HAVE! The graphics are okay, considering that this is a first generation PS3 game. Other than the sight-jacking tool, it isn't really any different from other horror games out there, game play-wise.
But the atmosphere, setting, and overall creepiness is what stands out. This is one of the few games that I was truly scared. In my opinion, it's more unsettling than Resident Evil and Silent Hill, with Fatal Frame probably the only arguable exception.
Again, if scary games are your thing, get this game now! But if you aren't a fan of this genre of gaming, this title won't change your mind.
Awesome Game, Good Sevice Well I recieved my item yesterday which I was kind of worried that maybe I wouldn't recieve it but I did and I recieved it exactly 10 days.when I started playing the game I knew what to expect, A good game, also I am glad I get to play it for this month since it's Halloween you know. Well I am glad I bought through this website, cause I was about download on the Playstation Store online, but I found out that it will take 8g of memory on my PS3. So started checking to gamestop to see if they have it but they told me it is only availabe online and that I had to download it. Anyways I searched through the Internet and I found this website which was Play-Asia.So I searched the game and what do you know there it was. I made sure to see if it was the same game, because online Its a different title, so I checked and saw that they were the same so I went ahead and ordered it. Which I am glad that I finally have. Thank You Play-Asia for this game and the good customer service. Now I know where to purchase games that are not availabe here.

not bad... pretty good at night w/o lights on a rainy day. although not as scary as i imagined, it has its moments. my main gripes are the clunky controls/gameplay and the mediocre graphics.
The Survival Horror Game on the PS3 I don`t know where to start. Simply an amazing and horrific game. At no time does the tension release. From the moment you start running from your first shibito, till the end when your running from more, it just never seems to get old. How will I survive this encounter, how will I get to that door over there, where is my freaking weapon!? Each chapter is wide open and allows players to use their own playing type to solve puzzles within the game. Run and gun? Don`t stop running. Solid Snake? Just keep on sneaking around in the dark.
The gameplay mechanics work well. Sneaking, sightjacking, and if you`re lucky you can perform special moves with all of the 50 different weapon types you can collect throughout the game.
But, above all else, Siren is about surviving. Its a very enjoyable game, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Incredible Horror Game Loved it from start to finish. Very, very good story. Full english throughout.
The entire game is split into different episodes, just like a great TV drama series. Each episode has sections focusing on the stories of different characters. You can play the sections individually, and in whatever sequence you like.
There is a large amount of sneaking around trying to avoid the monster, as they are generally very tough to kill. This is a very scary game. I found some sections very difficult.
Reminded me a lot of Fatal Frame 3 - one of my all time favourite games.

Really good game. The game looks great, and the gameplay is awesome. People say that the controls are weird, and a disagree. The controls are perfect and I do not find anything wrong with them. If you like survival horror, then get this game now or you will be really missing out.

siren blood curse/new translation exellent game beat it in 3 days very good,I hope they keep making more. the first one was good I love it but they needed to on it a little more(not tring to be mean) i've beat the 1st and blood curse bu I don't have the 2nd one but can't wait to get it, think how great the graphics are now just think how good they will be on the ps4 that comes out in 2014.

Scarriest ps3 game hands down Divided into 12 chapters & you are able to control different chars on different chapters. The shibitos(zombies) in this game will never die after taking massive damage from player... adding to the intense feel. Spooky to the utmost...
The sound, environment, music all are spooky as hell. Play this game in your room at night without the light on... you will enjoy it alot... if you are a true horror game fan.
what else do you want? Asian version contain english and japanese language.

Finally... Yes! Finally my order of Asian Siren: New Translation disc version is shipped from Play-Asia.com. After all the great and positive online review on this game (1-Up.com give it an "A" and IGN.com 8.9) and of course all the 5 stars review here in this web page, I am excited to say am ready to loose my self in Hanuda village and my first ever Siren scare fest on the next-Gen console, PS3. So lights off, on with the Sony MDR DS-7000 5.1/7.1 surround head set and prepare to get scare and let loose with Shibitos...

Very awesome... I have been waiting for a new zombie-based game, after playing Dead Rising for some time (great game), I wanted something new.. Sony comes to the 'rescue' with Siren.. Excellent game play, very spooky (turn off the lights in a dark room and turn up the audio), and pretty good graphics. The storyline is intense and the chapter based story-telling is captivating. Definitely worth the buy, since the download version takes too long to download and you can share this disc based version with your friends.
Play Asia again comes through AGAIN with a quick delivery and the inclusion of the game soundtrack is awesome; a life-time customer.

Want to take a trip to Hanuda? Siren New Translastion is a must buy for hardcore survival horror fans.Shibitos are creepy and the game's atmosphere is disturbing.Some flaws from the previous siren games are also gone.Asia version includes preview soundtrack disc too!
BUY THIS GAME if you have played siren and siren 2 on the playstation 2 you will be familar with the intense atmosphic erie gameplay the siren series is. the third game delivers more this would have to be the best horror game on the ps3 to date, GO BUY THIS GAME it is worth buying a playstation just to play

Heart racing Siren: New Translation is everything I hoped for and more.
The storyline is dense enough to keep you intrigued and the dialogue is presented well, with something that ALL games' dialogues should have--overlapping voices! I swear this is a rarity, but it makes it much more believable, for some strange reason.
Back to the point, the game is tense and got my heart racing more than once. The episodic format helps to break up the game into easily playable segments and the multiple character plots gives you a great, wide view of the region and the events within the game.
This is definitely a game for survival horror fans, but if you are into it, I can guarentee there will be something here for you that you will love.

Asian Version Good game, voice/subtitle is in Japanese/English, except the manual booklet which is in Chinese, the control sheet is in English though.

Finished ^-^ Really (imo) a PS3 Must-Have !
Much more fear than Resident Evil 4 & Silent Hill Origins !
If you like horror games, buy it.
Pay attention, itis a japanese style game, not so easy to understand like the RE & SH series.
