Not perfect but good
Interesting gameplay, sometimes bores you but anyone great game to have one in the collection.

Worth the money
The game has great graphics and scenery. The story is very intricately written and seems like most of the facts are derived from historical facts, which makes it even more interesting. However you develop a feeling of repetition as you advance through the game. Climbing everywhere all the time and dealing with a weak AI keeps the game from being perfect.

Great Engine.
Assassins creed was a delight to play, due to the engine allowing for such fluent escapes or manoeuvrings around the cities. Graphics were also on the upside as you are able to view the whole city of Jerusalem from a sync point and just knowing that you could easily get to any area that you saw inside the city was an empowering feeling. Great assassinations. Great fatal strikes and a story line that definitely sparked the curiosity in terms of the sequel.

I dont think the game is repetitive. It's true that in ever mission you have to assasinate some one, but the game calls assasin"s creed. In ever mission you have a diferent kind of assasination to do. The combat is excelent, i lhink is the strong of the game. The graphics is not so good. In some parts of the game you see some gliches that could be evited. Overall, like everone say, is a great game and is a must play.

What makes this game worth having is the combat!
Extraordinarily developed, smooth moves (after you get the hang of it) and real nice animations during the fight.
Besides, if you are eagering to play the sequel, this is the game for you, apart from all the repetitiveness...

Played this game at my friend's house. It was great so I decided to buy my own copy. Only downside was that its a bit repetitive but overall its enjoyable and a must play!

great game overall
this is a great title overall, esp since it was one of the few really great games for the PS3 for quite some time (early on during the PS3 "dark ages"). the issue i have with AC (preventing a 5 star) is the repetitiveness. when you really boil it down, you're pretty much doing the exact same type of "missions" in every town. sure the town layouts are different, but it really needs some variety. i hope AC2 will improve on this.

lot's of people complain about "do the same again and again". that's true, but (for me) that wasn't a bad thing at all. I enjoyed those parts too.

Lets be Honest.
Assassins Creed was one of the most highly anticipated games ever. I couldnt wait to get this game as soon as I got a PS3. My Friend recommended play-asia.com. Thanks Mate and Play Asia too! and I bought it from here.

Got the Game, Played it, finished it in approximately 18 hours including completing all Optional Objectives. Except for collecting the flags and all.

So I have seen pretty much the game has to offer. The problem with the game is that its very very repetitive. You get tired of hearing the same thing over and over. and also, what you need to do is basically the same thing. Get Information on target, when you are ready, you assassinate target, run, cool down, AND then next target.

The gameplay mechanics are pretty awesome. the low profile and high profile actions are cool. The battles are cool. Although they also gets really less challenging as soon as you get a good grasp of the combo system and also after you get the counter moves its pretty easy even to kill 100 enemies.

The Artificial Intelligence of the Guards could have been much better. What I am trying to say is, the battles seem too easy. Each of the guards take their strike one after the other. They could have been more challenging.

The sounds and graphics are great in this game.

The story isnt soo great. Its quite the typical. I could already tell before even finishing the game what would happen. Its soo predictable. And the game ended bad.

I dont feel that I wasted my money here for this game. But I highly recommend that everyone think a bit more on what this game has to offer first.

its an enjoyable game to try different methods of assasination, try the different three weapons. and climbing buildings and running over rooftops are quite fun.

I'd recommend this game to anyone who could ignore the repetitiveness of what you have to do in this game. Certainly could get boring if not.

Excellent Gameplay and Story Line
Excellent!!!! Very Good Angle for counter attack and steath moves but poor ending...Seems like there is a part 2...Keep it up and I'll be waiting for it..

The cities and graphics are wonderful!! Also the enemies are very intelligent!!
Two negative points: the game becomes repetitive and you've got to be very patient because there's a lot of bugs.

One of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Addicting gameplay mixed with an entertaining story-line and gorgeous graphics. If you have an interest in history and free roaming environments, you will love this game. You might find yourself just wondering around just to see the views it offers. Amazing!

Great Game!
Assassin's Creed is one whole good game. Good Graphics, great storyline, innovative fighting system. The reason why i rate it with 4 stars because of the repetitive game play. Basically there is only a few things you can do in the game. Which you will be doing it all over again through out the game. Overall, the graphics compensates the repetitive game play. Good game. Worth it!!!

Propably the best 5 hours of your gaming life, but after that... the entertainment curve goes down into the basement...but the engine is amazing and the feeling of freedom as well. Should be played at least once!

For sure one of the games of year in 2007. Great game for people that like action adventure games. But the story does lag sometimes but if you are fine with that then you will love it.
