A Step Down.
Firstly I will say that the graphics of this game are extremely enjoyable, driving around during the rain with all the lighting is a pleasure.

But I feel this has been a step down from your usual grand theft auto. Personally i enjoy the older GTA's because it had the feel that you could really monopolize the "industry" and have a hand in every basket, buying rackets houses and businesses, storing cars getting guns and at times even black hawk helicopters.
Where as number 4 lacks the ability to buy houses frequently and maximize on cash flow. Feels like all the money is spent on weapons and deaths. Not feeling like i'm progressing with anything but the story made it feel a bit monotonous as there was also a lack of side stuff to actually do with good purpose, or even with a fun purpose.
Story lines decent but it's not enough.

This game is really the best!!! Drivin' cars in the city like a crazy guy, killin' the thieves,exploding everything to hell, and backwards all of this we have a history....

This game is incredibaly tedious and boring.

Nice graphics - if you want to just walk around and look at stuff

Cool game play - The money they put into this engine really shows, but it so boring to play. Restarting missions from the very very very beginning is mind numbingly boring. There are missions where you have to move extremely slow before getting to the actually mission. Fail at any point and go right back to the start. I would love a check point. But everyone else seems happy with the tedium.

The cut scenes are really cool and interesting. Everything else is a waste of money and time.

2 stars because it looks pretty. This would work better as an animated movie.

What a great game!
A great story, with great characters and a great, huge and beautiful scenary. You can't ask for anything better in a videogame.

This game should be mandatory on all PS3 console!
