Best RPG of the year
Very few rpgs in recent memory have etched themselves in my memory quite like this game. I had heard that it was unforgiving, brutal and frustrating, and this is true to a degree, but only if you play without caution. If you are a patient gamer, and not looking for a true hack and slash rpg, then you can't go far wrong with this. Brilliant style, atmosphere and sense of adventure, one of the best games of this generation.
The Deluxe boxset is also very nice, and the guidebook is absolutely crammed with useful information. Highly recommended.

You Suck at Games!
Every time I pop this game into my PS3, I hear a little voice whispering this in my ear.
Demon's Souls takes you back to an era when there were penalities for dying, when games couldn't be beaten in 1 hour, when you weren't allowed to save every 2 seconds and go back if you made any mistakes. This game makes you consider every move before you make it.
I would not recommend this game to anyone who is frustrated easily. But for those who want games that give them a sense of acvhievement, this is perfect. But be forewarned, you'll have to wrok for it!

Really awesome hardcore RPG experience, if you like to play RPG's, this game will be a good Christmas present for you :)
