Turn down the lights, crank up the amps and prepare to command center stage as some of the most famous AND infamous tracks from Guitar Hero®, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero® Encore: Rocks the 80s and Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock step into the spotlight in the most epic, full band jam session to-date -- Guitar Hero® Smash Hits*. The #1 best-selling video game franchise of 2008 presents the best of the best to music video game aficionados so they can join together with guitar, bass, drums and vocals and rock to master tracks of their favourite Guitar Hero music.
Now with all the band!!! This package have all the great musics that you wanted to play with you friends using all the word tour's bundle. Those who played the firsts guitar heros, will not be desapointed, but a few more musics would be fun, because the price is a bit to high for just those that came.
A good buy, only if the price is right Honestly, when you look at a title like this, you would expect the very best of all the Guitar Hero coming together. But since everyone has a different idea to what's best, this collection may not work out for everyone. And add to that, you're not gonna find quite a few of the major hits in the series inside. Thankfully, a few staple songs that rockers would know are in there (Joan Jett's I love rock and roll and Smoke on the water comes to mind) and EXPERT+ is available in the game as well. Do check the song list before you make this purchase.
I bought mine on an offer price and i found it okay and acceptable. However, you'll be warned, it's not entirely worth the money spent at times. If you do get it, it's still decently enjoyable, despite the holes in the track list.
GH Hits It's got very few songs and many of them are not such smash hits, but the ones that are good are really good, specially if you don't have the first three games and Rock the 80's. The highlight is Free Bird, which is a beautiful solo and very fun to play.

Great Value If you like the songs GH: Smash Hits could be considered a Track Pack, since it add few innovations from its predecesor, but for me is the best songlist of all band games (not considering downloadable content), mixing the best songs of the others GH, but now played by the original artists and the possibility to play with drums and mic (and bass for GH I songs); and if you own GH5 you could play Smash Hits songs in it.
if you like this songlist than GH is a must buy!!!
It's a good for GH starter. If you have every single titele of GH series, and you may be disappointed. Contents are much more hard and heavy than GH WT.
For GH5 users, you can import songs of smash hits.
In some case Asian version do not have ID to import on the manual.
