Hard but rewarding game
This game can be very frustrating at times but when you finally kill that boss after the 62 try you have a feeling of accomplishment that can't be matched by many games.

Unlike American games, where knowledge is rewarded, this game punishes ignorance
Much has been said about how 'difficult' this game is, and it can be extremely difficult if you are prone to doing the same thing over and over again in the hope that at last you will succeed.

This game rewards alternate approaches to combat and caution, as even letting your guard down against a low-level foe can result in your demise.
Only the patient and persistent need apply - those with short attention spans should look elsewhere, because this game will take a long time to finish, particularly if you want to get some of the really good equipment. It's almost like a MMORPG in that respect, particularly the online aspect.

For old-school hardcore, look no further. Sony should really be doing more to market this excellent gem.

Difficult but rewarding
A fairly straightforward hack and slash RPG with large, varied worlds to explore. It's complicated by a punishing death system where you must attempt to reach your place of death to recover your Soul's - the games currency. Requires patience and dedication but in exchange felling your latest obstacle is rewarding.

The Deluxe Edition's game guide is very useful but you can get a lot of the information from the various game wikis, or forums.

The free bonus artbook consisted mostly of the loading screen art, with a few sketches thrown in.

An amazing hidden gem
Grind, grind, grind, and you will be rewarded with one of the most enjoyable action RPG's of the last few years.
Intricate level designs, challenging enemies, bosses that will truly make you tread carefully with each step as the difficulty is set quite high, but with great risks, there are great rewards.
Do not risk missing this hidden gem !
