description
The year is 2025. The optimism and harmony of the 2010s were completely eradicated by 2020. A global crisis loomed. Food shortages sparked riots, currencies plummeted, fuel reserves dwindled, and oil-producing nations began to ration what remained. It is a dark future. Governments earmarked money for humanitarian efforts, overseas security, and intelligence services which, over time, found its way the coffers of a small group of Private Military Companies (PMCs). These three private armies (Valor, Raven, and S.V.E.R.) then began to recruit aggressively. Soldiers without a country, the contractors fight wars that never happened. This is the nature of the Shadow War.

Fun, lasting, groundbreaking action!
Highly anticipated game, that fully delivered what was expected... a fun, tactical game where you team up with up to 127 more on your side for domination of the various battles.
With three different factions, 12 maps, and up to 256 players in a single battle, it is truly massive. Compared to more fast paced shooters where, this one allows for a lot of tactics, squad based combat to achieve objectives and ultimate victory.
Definitely a solid buy!

Top game
I'm not ususally a fan of action games, but this one is so addictive!! Best multiplayer by far.
Only negative is if there were more maps.

Between good and great
Since this game is multiplayer only, this game doesn't really deserve 5/5. But, the multiplayer part is great. There are some things you have got to understand before getting this game :
1) This is a teamwork based game. If you have tons of friends who are interested in this game, and you are interested in this and want to actually use teamwork, buy this game. You wouldn't want to miss the epic 256 player battle.
2) If you don't have friends but still want to play a game to try out some teamwork with strangers, this game still delivers. You can still have a great time like I have many times without friends.
3) If you like running around doing your own things and stuff and are generally the kind of a person who couldn't care about the team, and care only about your K/D, stay away from this because this is mostly an objective based game where K/D ratios don't matter. You will be heavily disappointed.
The biggest satisfaction in this game is when you win a particular match, especially domination, where you have to play for 1/2 hour to cover some objecties. The excitement in sabotage and domination is really great, but that's only if you take the joy in seeing your team winning.

Battlefield is better
This game is good, however it could be made better. The only amazing part is 256 player battles! the maps are huge! the graphics kinda suck and its kind of hard to keep track of friends. But it is still amazing! Battlefield is better though!
