description
The Yakuza wars are spreading over to the tropical paradise of Okinawa. After leaving his last base in Kamimuro Chou, Kiryuu Kazuma went to Okinawa and opened an orphanage named Asagao with Haruka.
Together with the children they have taken in, the two slowly let go of the violent lives they have led prior to their arrival.
However, the happy days are short lived for the Yakuza are tightly connected with the Japanese government. A shady deal that involves the land which Asagao is built on spurs Kiryuu and Haruka back to their old home town and fights with oppositional Yakuza groups.
Fights and political intrigue comes hand in hand, become the rising dragon and protect the sanctuary you have built.

I've never been in Japan and will never go there apparently. But Yakuza 3 helps people like me to get a sense of Japanese culture. It is a wonderful adventure full of interesting characters. The game deserves to be in my home obviously.

Definite purchase.
An RPG with an open world fighting game engine driving it.
Story, minigames, over 100 side missions, and a item crafting system....this game will keep you busy for a long time.

This game is a must play. One of the best titles for the PS3. Great story, characters, a ton of mini games & side quests, all for a good price.

Yakuza 3, not Ryuu Ga Gotoku 3
Although having been dissapointed by the cut contents (thanx sega!!) I still found this game to be thoroughly enjoyable, story might get a little boring sometimes, but the fighting system is fun, and the side missions were fun too.
Not as strong as Yakuza 1 & 2, but still a great game. Lets hope Sega will give us the full 100% for the 4th installment!!!
