Call of the Wild
As games go, Hakuna Matata, also known as Afrika in Japan, is a curious beast that's hard to classify. Yes, it's the same title as that song in the Disney animated classic: The Lion King. Not As I Expected I was expecting a spectacular view and gameplay from this title, but I guess it was my fault for expecting too much. It turn out boring and shallow title for me
Afrika Madly interesting photo-hunting. More than 100 most interesting missions.
Game for all family.
It was very interesting to play together with my wife. =)
Not for everyone, but if it's your thing, you'll love it! Afrika is a brilliant game, and it's great to see Rhino studios trying something so different and innovative so early in a console's lifecycle. The gameplay revolves around travelling around different parts of an African Wilderness capturing moments on film, and it does this really well. It's slow-paced, relaxing and enjoyable. You won't find action or virtual violence here, but you will find a very creatively constructed photography sim, covering some of the most interesting animals to photograph available. The animations of the animals (while not flawless) are up-close the best animated animals I've seen in a game, and the camera 'simming' was great, with the lenses and settings feeling appropriate. Only minor gripe was that you couldn't adjust the ISO on your camera, but you've got control over shutter speed, aperture and camera/lens selection, and that's the most important stuff.
