description
Musou action continues with the upgraded Gundam Musou 2. New powerful mobile suits such as Psycho Gundam and Big Zams make their appearances in this installment. Pick up your weapons, rush forward and mow your opposition regiments down.
Aside from original mecha, Gundams that showed up in the TV or movies are also participating in this massive brawl. The 3 most powerful mobile suits from the SEED series, Freedom Striker, Infinite Justice and Destiny are joining up with their predecessors such as Sazabi and V-Gundam.
Politics that underlay the series is intriguing but the all out action is just as absorbing, board your mecha and take on the world.

Good for what it is, but... The game is great for what it is: a bash-fest using cool mobile suits from the Gundam universe.
As a gaming experience its monotony can't earn it more than three stars; its lack of variance in the gameplay means that while it's great for its genre, its immersiveness and gameplay experience is at best slightly above average. In addition, the number of complex button combos you're expected to learn for one single mobile suit is ridiculous, let alone for the numerous suits available.
Where I had to take a star off is the absence of the Japanese language track, which was available on the original game's demo and (if my sources are correct) its full version. I bought the game hoping it had this as an option. I couldn't stand the Gundam SEED anime's English dub, and the lame shout of Kira Yamato's "I will fight" every time he does a special attack wears very thin, very quickly.
If you want this game with the Japanese audio, get the Asian or Japanese release of Gundam Musou 2 instead. Going by the menu of the US/EU version, the options shouldn't be too difficult to figure out, and there's more than likely to be a translation guide for the manual or an FAQ somewhere on the web for it. I myself am sorely tempted to buy one of these versions myself just so I don't have to listen to the lame English voices any more.
Gundam Musou 2 is FANtastic! More polish for the sequel, more mobile suits and wayyyyy more missions per character. There is a lot of game here, only 2 things are missing. Where the hell is the online? Why are you making us wait for online co-op Koei, it's 2008 and we still don't have that yet. And where is the Gundam Exia or 00 Gundam? It would have been really smart to cash in on all the fans of that series right now, since it is very popular. Please add these things for the next game!
