Despite the bugs, this is still better than the PS2 version
Like the title says, this game has some minor bugs. But it really doesn't affect the gameplay anyway...the loading time is a bit long, but once you're in the game, the loading speed is still very quick. Plus it has the Black Label mode, X-mode, and a new soundtrack. I still think this port is better than the PS2 one.

Classic shmup action
This is a top-notch shmup from the masters at CAVE, and this is one of the more intense bullet-hell games, requiring fast reflexes and precise navigation through the waves of bullets flying your way, even on the normal difficulty. Lots of interesting gameplay elements, great art design and awesome music all contribute to make this a great experience.

Everyone here seems to complain about lots of bugs, but the bugs and long load times are pretty minor issues and are not important enough to overshadow the enjoyment that can be had from this great game.

Buy it while its still available!

source code was used without permission to develop porting this game to the Xbox 360. Due to such mis-hap, this game is no longer available for distribution in Japan. If Play-Asia is still able to fulfill any order, everyone should order this masterpiece!

Great game, sloppy bugs
The extras over the PS2 version mae this worth purchasing again, but make sure you read up on the bugs before you start. The problems aren't insurmountable, but a game as good as this deserved better.

Buy it.
I love the fact that you only start with 1 credit. It pushes you to get good at the game quickly. I don't mind the loading times either, it gives me a quick chance to look through my friends list :P

Details
I would also recommend to install to HDD asap before starting. There is several bugs and auto-save should be turned-off, unless the achievements might glitch or not unlocked. The gameplay is fun & easy achievement points to unlock. Takes 15 hours to finish all achievements. And, personally X-Mode is really fun with NEW character : Piper.

Black Label DDP DOJ Fun
Install game to HD right away.
The main menu where you select Black Label or DOJ load time will go down. Once you are in the game modes loading is not a problem. There are a few bugs here and there but not enough to take away from the fact that this is still an amazing shooter. 5pb have stated they are releasing a patch as well to address these issues.

Would be great if it weren't for a few silly bugs, but the game plays brilliantly once it loads and you start playing. 5pb are going to patch it so maybe some of these problems will be ironed out.
