description
In this innovative simulation game, you act as a producer and make your special girl's dream come true. That is, turn her into an idol! You start from the beginning, from choosing your special girl, training her, taking her to promotional events and auditions, arranging for her to go on TV to forming your own idol group. You are not only to take care of her professional needs, but personal needs such as arranging weekends and vacations for her. During these leisure activities, she might show you her hidden sides, depending on how close you are with her. These memories will be invaluable when she has to go to auditions or appeal to judges in these competitive events, not to mention that they also contribute to the progression of your relationship with her.
The more success you have bringing up your own idol group, the nearer you are to the top position in the entertainment industry: The Idolm@ster.
With The Idolm@ster Live for You! Find out more about the potential idols you are working with!

Suprisingly good
Even if the "sim" part isn't here like in his prequel, Idolm@ster: Live for You! is one of those games that you will fall under the charm of his simple gameplay, lovely graphics and animations. Gameplay is pretty similar to Guitar Hero but with a controller, everyone can enjoy this, even non-japanese speaker. Don't miss it if you like the style!

Epicness.
For anyone who's played the original Idolm@ster game, then this is a must have. It takes out the training aspect from the original and let's you straight out perform live on stage. Not only that, there's an added Taiko for any beat fans that'll easily lead to a nice 1000G for another awesome game.

Fairly easy/simple music game
Unlike the original Idolmaster, this game is just a music game. You choose the character(s) that you want to perform, and then you choose the song you want to perform. Set the difficulty/other options, and then perform the song. It's that simple.
The achievements for this game take no time at all. And there really isn't much to it. The game can be easily played without any knowledge of the Japanese language.
All that said, I did enjoy my time with the game.

This game is a sequel to "iDOLM@STER" for the 360. The way the game plays is fairly simple, like Taiko no Tatsujin is played. Although it plays like Taiko, it has stricter timing. This game is fanservice for the people who enjoyed the first game. It's also very easy to set up characters and have them play whatever song you like. As for the language barrier, there isn't a great amount of Japanese text to be found.
Overall, the entirety of the game can be played without the knowledge of Japanese. It is far easier to comprehend than what the original title was (for non-Japanese), but it doesn't have as much depth as the original game, either.
The achievements in this game are also very easy. It might take you around 4 hours at maximum to get all of them.
I think it's an enjoyable game to play. They keep releasing updates with downloadable content (sometimes free items with catalogs) because it is highly popular. Along with this, they also include gifts which come with some costumes (usually, they are 500 ms points + free gift), and usually the free gifts are a 3-4 item set from the original game.
Unfortunately, accessories cannot be transferred from the original game to this title, and so forth.
