Famed game producer Hironobu Sakaguchi of Mistwalker and developer Artoon present the highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive Blue Dragon. Featuring the character design of Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball Z and music by Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon is an epic role-playing game that centers on a young boy named Shu and several of his friends.
Good, not the best, but still worth You can't really go wrong with a Sakaguchi-made RPG, can you? Not the best RPG I've played - it's very much Japanese old-school (as expected), and does drag on occasion, but at this price, it's good value for money.
RPG Fans, LOOK NO FURTHER This game is one of only a handful of Xbox 360 RPGs, and at $15, it is very very good! It has a very deep yet straightforward story, and there is a lot of customization in the battle tactics and skillsets you can chose. There are also very colorful and varied locals and the game itself is pretty long, which means you get a lot for your money. There are some frame-rate slipups when too many items appear on the screen, and the battles at later levels may get a little tedious, however, for fans of JRPGs, this is common and will be another way to beef up before boss battles. A great purchase, especially at the low price.
Classic JRPG It's turn based combat with real-time map. The story is cookie cutter JRPG - so if you love the genre, you could probably predict what happens next.
Do yourself a favour and never play on the easiest mode. Some grinding is required on the harder levels, but levelling up the various Classes can be rewarding.
Some of the class mechanics are obtuse to begin with, but you'll quickly learn how to twist things to your advantage.
Definitely *the* budget RPG game to get to waste those hours away!
