Black Nintendo Wii (NTSC-J)
Play-Asia has given every effort to describe this product on the product page. Read everything through carefully and you don't have to worry about anything. It wouldn't hurt to check your local customs policy as well, because it could delay the delivery for nearly a week and cost you additional fees. Note that the shipping options for this product are the type that require signature, too.
As a friendly reminder, f you're not proficient in the Japanese language (especially written), then I don't recommend that you buy this product. Otherwise, if this is your first ever Wii, you'll have no idea how to use it and will have to go the extra step of translating it.
On a personal note, this Wii was worth every penny that I ever spent. Everything was beautiful and working, even the box!

Black Nintendo Wii (NTSC/J)
It may not have next generation graphics, but it has other great features.
First off, it is easy to set up. If you have a WiFi LAN, just start up the Wii and enter your WEP or WPA key and you should be able to go online. I had no port forwarding and complex installation procedures to do as I had with my Xbox 360.
The Wiimote needs a little time to get used to, but then it is fun to control the pointer on screen. Please be aware that if you want to play classic games, you need at least a classic controller. But you do not need to buy a Japanese one, as the Wiimote itself is the same all over the world.
It is an interesting idea to plug in additional controller into the wiimote. That keeps your cable short and accidentally stumbling over is not possible - and even if it happens, its not the wii that goes down, but only shock proof controllers...there should be no harm in that.
The wii main menu is represented by different channels. Every channel has its own features, for example you have one channel to surf the web or one to shop for new games. Very cute is the Mii channel, where you can create your avatar that you can also use in games supporting it, like for example Mario Kart.
There is quite a lot to discover with these channels and the whole package, so even if you don't have many games, you have enough reasons to keep the Wii running... :)
One last note: The Wii, nunchuck and everything else is neatly packed in its package, so that even on long journeys it should take no damage.
