A New Feel! Some sort of sequel to espgaluda but happened before 2018.
This shooter definitely brings out a new feeling. It's really different comparing it to basic shooters. Introducing the wonderful Kakusei or Awakened Mode.
The Kakusei mode just helps anyone no matter his or her experience! An expert would probably use it for points and a beginner, like me, would probably use it for safely going through each levels (well, sometimes, experts still use this technique.)
Also, in Kakusei mode, when you get hit, you use your bomb energy or whatever you call it, as long as you have it, to save yourself from the bullets.
Very versatile and very nice!
Other than that, I can't forget to tell how wonderful the soundtrack is! Fits in very good! Also, the graphics are pretty good... very good, actually.
It may seem expensive but it's worth it!

Excellent Port Thanks Play-Asia, the game arrived in excellent condition. I'm actually buying it for collection...:). The game is wonderful in everyways.

FREAKING AWSOME Ok I have Mushimasama and that game freaking rocks, but this game has a different shooter feel to it. This is litteraly one of the most graphically impressive shooter I have ever owned.. Some of the most creative bullet patterns i have ever seen in a shooter. The music is awsome with Kick A## graphics and you can choose chars.. This game is dam near the definition and meaning of BULLET HELL... Get this before the prints are out and its too late...

Cave do it again........... An incredible shooter, varied and challenging, with some pretty graphics and a funkin' techno soundtrack. Not as good as the donpachi series but hey thats just my oppinion. Buy it before it goes out of print (8/10)

Shooter Heaven !!! Easy to get into and hard to put down, the game lets you progress further with each play and with lots of options and arcade perfect looks this is one of my favourite PS2 shooters, even better than ibara and mushi but not as pretty, still not as good as garegga though : ) I just hope Arika can get their hands on Bakraid and Cyvern and bring those bad boys out aswell!!

It's keeping you addicted to Kakusei mode. One of the better vertical shoot'm up in a fantasy/mecha setting with a addicting and challenging scoresystem named 'Kakusei mode'.

Great Shooter!! Espgaluda is one of the best shooting game from Cave (quiet better than Do Don Pachi because more user friendly).
Great graphics, comes with a perfect play DVD...in 2words great game. If you like Shoot'em'up, you must buy it :-)

Espgaluda Cave's latest comes home.
With an arcade perfect conversion, plus arrange mode, gallery, replay record and a bonus DVD video with superplays, this one makes up for a sexy package.
Also, Espgaluda is very beginner friendly, with an easy to grasp scoring gimmick.
