description
Based on the technology of the Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition and designed for the serious fighting game enthusiast, nothing brings the arcade experience closer to home than the Madcatz Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition. The Tournament Edition features an unparalleled level of detail and uses arcade quality components. Sourced directly from arcade manufacturer Sanwa Denshi, the FightStick: Tournament Edition uses the same Japanese style ball-handled joystick and 30mm Action Buttons found in the official Street Fighter IV Vewlix arcade cabinet, marking the first time such components have been used for a commercial product outside of Japan.
With the D-Pad control switch, dual Turbo functionality for each button, and exact button layout matching the Vewlix Street Fighter IV arcade panel, the FightStick: Tournament Edition delivers an experience unlike any other arcade styled controller. Complete with detailed touches such as screw on rubber feet for solid surface play, unobtrusive placement of the Start and Select/Back Buttons along with a locking mechanism preventing accidental activation of Turbo settings for tournament play, the FightStick: Tournament Edition represents the best possible choice for the hardcore fan.

Business Superb stick!!
Great for Kof, SF, BB and the rest of the fighting games. Can be modded as well for those who require better parts. Stock stick is alright for a while. but should be a little bit more tight in my opinion!

This is hard. If you haven't used fightstick ever before using one will be hard. I played sf4 with xbox pad for half year and change into fightstick was hard. It took few weeks to get used to fightstick but after that it has been amazing.
Design is very firm and this stick will last forever even in hard use. If you have money to spare and you are into fighting games this is a must-buy product.

about the button layout oh yeah, just an extra note, for anyone that is concerned about the button layout (because i was)
just to clear it up, the button layout is PERFECT for xbox360 games that use a fightstick, all the games read it correctly.
ie, doa4 (it detects it as a fightstick and has it arranged in the same way as the doa4 edition stick would be and look in game)
in sf4 (in the options, select arcade stick layout 1 and it will have the buttons arrange correctly from lp to hp across the top and lk to hk across the bottom without any need to change the buttons layout)
so once again, it's a good stick. buy it.

got one the stick and buttons are responsive, the cabinet is sturdy and has a nice weight to it. the art design is conservative, but i like it that way.
overall, its a really good product.
note: if you suck at streetfighter tho, it probably wont make you play any better ~ you just wont be able to blame it on the controls.
