A must have for those who don't want to play with a stick. The original xbox controller is just horrible for beat'em'ups. I wouldn't recommend playing with the original even for single player only.
The D-pad is huge and "softer" than the ps one, which results in more ergonomical playing. Feels weird at first but takes only like 1 night to get used to.

Mad about MadCatz pad A must have for 2D gaming/fighting on the Xbox 360, a huge difference over the standard d-pad

Not just good for fighting games When I thought about it for a second, it made perfect sense to use this for Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, as it is the same 6-button layout to emulate the classic controller. A few setting may need to be changed for each game, but at least I don't feel bad about only using it for SF4.

great for fighting games this pad is really amazing, though there's some adjustment at first due to the six button style, but after that it's an amzing pad

No title this pad is really magic.
even better than the one i considered like the best pad (sega saturn 1st version).
if you want to king of fighters or others fighting games it's a must buy for the xbox360
