features
- Officially licensed product.
- 6 button layout (great for fighting games)
- Turbo function on all buttons, including triggers (great for FPS and shooting games)
- Turbo can be set to slow (5times/sec), Normal (12times/sec), Fast (20times/sec)
description
This is a hybrid of a game pad. The D pad is replaced by a joystick and the usual four buttons on the right now has six button. You can execute those moves in highspeed, provided that you have a strong, flexible thumb. You can set turbo function for all the buttons, at low, medium and high speeds, perfect for FPS lovers.
The pad comes in two colors, keep one for your own private use and leave the other color for public use when you invite your friends over for a party. Although these are perfect for fighters and shooters, you can use them for your RPGs and action games. Grip them in your hands and take over the (game) worlds.

Poor controller for 360
AVOID! The normal Xbox 360 controller has a very poor d-pad, so gamers are looking for an alternative. The Hori Pad has a better d-pad, but unfortunately the rest of the design is very bad. The controller is just way too bulky, and the d-pad and right analogue stick are way too close to the center. The two extra face buttons are more of a hindrance than of any use, since they are rarely used. The shoulder buttons and triggers are also poorly shaped and too small. What's more, the analogue sticks seem to have a ghosting issue similar to the one in Microsoft's own Xbox 360 controllers.

It's OK.
D-pad is solid and hard press. but It's better than D-pad Xbox360 Regular Joypad. The function turbo is good. It's appropriate for fighting game.

poor response D pad
Down and left direction must to be pressed hard, therefore d-pad not register diagonal inputs correctly.
Too bad for fighting games.

The D pad is very fickle on the pad I got and the buttons sometimes do not register

Flawless!
Well, I was just amazed to see that, finally, microsoft (xbox in particular) was launching a controller that you can use with more than one game genre. The standard Xbox 360 controller is perfect for shooter games (FPS and TPS) and even for RPG games (actually, if you don't really give use to the dpad you can play with that controller). But if you're a fighting gamer you just can't use it. That's where Hori Pad Ex Turbo 2 comes out! You can use it for every type of games and it just goes with flow, simply superb. I wanted a controller who could fit different types of games, shooters (great triggers, very good analog sticks with sensibility increasing/decreasing option), fighting (6 front buttons, with perfect response, ideal for fighting games and the D-Pad, very very very very good for an Xbox controller)... I play just every game with it.
I don't really use the turbo option but if you like it, it's what it is, you can use it!
