I've tested it now on my 360 with Street Fighter 3, The xbox live version of Street fighter 2, xbox live tmnt & gauntlet and also Virtua fighter 5 and its the nearest thing I've found so far to the actual arcade.

Get More Action into Your Game with the Fighting Stick EX2 for Xbox 360
Great arcade stick for the price I bought it along with Mushihimesama Futari, it works surprisingly well, far beyond my expectation. I also tried the stick with few fighting games like SFII Turbo, KOF 98' and Marvels vs Capcom 2 and the sticks performs very well in this area too. So no matter if you want a stick for shmups or fighting games with a small budget, this is the stick to go.

Best stick for the money. You simply will not find a better arcade stick at this price point. The stick and buttons are responsive, and the staggered layout is comfortable with both four and six button fighters. As an added bonus, the USB port means that (with the proper drivers) the stick can also be used with PC games. This is a great addition to any fighting game, and the price means it won't cut too deep into the gaming budget.

Quality & price Nice stick for starters in competitive fighting games, for the lowest price.
Tested in Xbox360 & PC arcade emulators and works well with both of them.

Pretty nice stick Its pretty nice a hell lot better than the sticks ive had before now.
Its a pretty small stick i would like to have the buttons further apart.
And it would be nice if it was easier to modify but still a nice stick im happy with it.

Surprisingly robust, surprisingly worthwhile. I got this stick along with Tekken 6 and SF4, and to play my other fighters with (and some old-school XBLA arcade games). Since it was pretty cheap, I wasn't expecting it to be all that, but I was pleasantly surprised, and have fond it to be a damned solid little stick. It does have a 4-way (square) guide, and while an 8-way (octagonal) guide would have been much better, for the price I can live with it.

Entry Level Arcade stick to get you started. Hori is well know for making quality accessories and the Hori Fighting Stick EX2 is no exception. It's just plugs into your Xbox 360 usb and away you go. And if you want to chat the mic jack works fine with an Xbox 360 compatible headset. It works well with arcade games like Street Fighter IV, you just change the in game setting to arcade and it's time unleash a can of whop-arse. Yes it's not a heavy duty arcade stick but you get what you pay for. And this an excellent entry level arcade stick. Highly recommended. 4.5 of 5. Happy Gaming

A decent arcade stick with one or two problems. For this price, the Hori FS EX2 holds up fairly well given the price range of Hori's other units. The deck itself feels sturdy and solid, and feels right at home either on your lap, or standing firm on a table with its rubber feet. The buttons have a slightly soft feel to them, and actually activate somewhere near the middle of their travel instead of when they fully pressed down. This can cause some difficulties when trying to perform very fast commands, such as in Virtua Fighter 5. The control stick itself seems to sit in a square guide, meaning that there are no definite sitting points for up, down, left and right. The stick also has a fair amount of travel, which needs to be taken into consideration depending on the types of games you are going to be using it for.
For the gamer on a budget, a novice who is just getting started in games that require the precision of an arcade stick, or just people looking for value for money, the EX2 is an a stand-up unit despite its flaws. People who have more of an idea of what they want, such as those into competitive play in fighting games, may want to consider shopping for a more upmarket unit.

Hori=Quality This was the best I could get for my budget and thanks to playasia for the additional discount. SF just become more fun to play!

No title First stick than i buy, and i'm a little disapointed... The yellow button doesn't works correctly, need to push it really hard so that's a real bad point. But the stick is a good one, need to train before get him in hand but seems nice.

No title stick feels good but needs an octagonal restrictor because it can go all over the place. Was pretty happy with the buttons. Overall its a huge improvement over my last stick and if your serious about fighting games your probably going to mod whatever stick you get anyway.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joystick Not only is this stick great for SF4, the buttons light up which helps when playing in a darkened room...its the shizz-nitt. I can't say anything bad about this stick...I put my Hori down once I got this joystick

Get the HRAP (Hori Real Aracade Pro/EX/etc) instead I have 4 Hori joysticks, 2 of them being more or less clones of each other - this and the PS3 version (FS3). All use Hori Sanwa knockoff parts of the lowest degree. The PCB in this is also a bad violator, as it can cause lag and latency as pointed out earlier, or simply fail.
Buy at your own risk - this is not PlayAsia's fault and Hori can make excellent Joysticks. Just not this one. This is a cheap one that comes with very cheap components, and unless you are planning to do a full modification to the thing, not recommended as buttons will eventually fail, the joystick is garbage, and the PCB is as well.

Hands down my favourite stick. I first fell in love with Hori when I bought two import Hori Arcade sticks for Dreamcast. After that I swear by them. I presently have two Hori sticks, and only prefer the 6 button layout. I still think it is a durable stick, (my Dreamcast arcade stick still works). I have been playing SFIV on my arcade pro, and find it responsive. I also really liked that this stick also works on your computer. Making MAME games super fun to play.
Also in reply to Boavista; playing this stick with Pacman CE, honestly the game is fast and nothing out there save for a 4 way really will make that game play any easier. (and I only play Pacman with arcade sticks)

No title This fighting stick is certainly better than the 360 controller but is nothing when compared with the Real Arcade Pro Ex
Arcade at home It's a good product...For fighting and shooting games,it's much more better than the classic pad.

Bad response Until now, I have only tried this controller with "Pacman C.E." and I was very disappointed with its response. Every time I try to move up or down on a corner, there's no reaction - pacman moves ahead and I lose the game...
Hori Fighting Stick - XBox360 Great turnaround service and speed from Play-Asia team. Took less than 24 hours using FedEx Priority service to arrive at my place. Impressive and world class.
A nostalgic feeling after finally owning an Arcade stick for home arcade action. Feels just like the good old days of going to an Arcade to bang up Street Fighter 2 and this one brings that experience home.
Good quality controls and joystick overall. Works with all fighting games on XBox360 Arcade and definitely value for money from Hori. Looking forward to Street Fighter 3 and the next generation arcade stick to be released in early 09.

A Great Arcade Stick for Your 360 or PC Works with your 360 and your PC through the USB port. Great feel and response. A must buy for any serious fighting game fan.
I've tested this on VF5, Soul Calibur 4, Samurai Shodown 2, Guilty Gear, and MAME arcade games. It works perfectly. Buy this now.

The best Xbox 360 arcade stick! An absolute must have if you are a fighting game fan or even a retro game fan!
Plays fighting games like Street Fighter II HyperFighting and Soul Calibur IV!
Buy this fighting stick NOW!!!
Won't last long. Works well in the beginning but buttons will die over time. Even the PS3 Hori is better. I bought 2 for VF5 and the buttons have been acting up after 3 weeks. Unfortunately 360 owners don't have much choice in joysticks.

Great arcade controller Button layout is very nice, joystick and buttons click very tightly, and I had absolutely no trouble at all switching to it from a regular controller. Very strongly reccomended.
I've tested it now on my 360 with Street Fighter 3, The xbox live version of Street fighter 2, xbox live tmnt & gauntlet and also Virtua fighter 5 and its the nearest thing I've found so far to the actual arcade.
On my PC I've got the dual X-arcade stick for playing things like mame and mugen and to be honest I prefer the feel on this new Hori stick on the 360. ...plus you can allways plug the 360 stick into your pc and use it as its usb! :)
The original 360 pad just isn't up to the job of playing fighting games so this new fighting stick is a god send.
Seriousl buy it now!
Top stuff and highly recommended to all serious 360 gamers!
