If you play fighting games this is a must
This controller for anyone looking to play fighting games on the xbox 360 with a pad (Rather than an arcade stick). The D-pad really shows up the original controller by offering such precision it works for any game bteer suited to a d-pad not just fighters. All the controller works great only problem is the shoulder buttons feel a bit mushy but since you will be mostly using this on arcade games or fighting games it never becomes a problem. Do not hesitate but it now!

Damn good controller for fighting games
I bought this controller for fighting games, as regular microsoft pads are terrible, and it delivers!!! It is a great control pad, it allows for easy execution of advanced combos in games like kof 12 and garou mark of the wolves.

Now the turbo functionality is really not what caught my interest, but I suppose it's ok, since I'm sure if I had this pad when I played Blue dragon I'd had unlocked some achievements more esasily.

The Analog sticks are adequate (I've seen some other reviwers complain about them, but I really beg to differ).

My only complaints are the triggers, which are very small, and don't convey a full range of presure sensitive responsivenes in racing games...

and the secon one is the lack of rumble, but since I did not have to pay 70+ usd on an arcade stick for fighting games I really can say I'm very satisfied. Hori makes great stuff.

One of the greatest controllers for the Xbox 360 , imo.

This Controller will help you achieve achievements while sleeping or away from Xbox 360. The ABXY Buttons can be turbo up to 13~26 times per seconds.
Really depends what the game's button are and what can be achieved while buttons are clamped or rigged.

Controller has it's own D-Pad and much accurate than any Xbox 360 Controller.

Have had no problems with wireless Headset and Hori EX Turbo Pad .

However, the Turbo has 1 Flaw ...
Takes sometime to adjust with FPS titles.

Other than that. Thank you very much to all Japan suppliers and Play-asia for reviving the Hori EX Turbo Pad. And, much thanks for play-asia sending 4 controllers for my future Xbox 360 Mahjong Achievements. ^^

great controller
this is one of the best 3rd party controllers i only have 2 problems i got a static interference with my offcial headset and after a while i would have to take it out and re insert it other than that its my favorite controller

Some analog issues
The Hori controller is good & vastly cheaper than the 360. However it's not without it's issues, if you are used to the analog you might find the Hori's too loose. It's Dpad is superior to the 360 controller, but for a fighting game it's analog is much to be desirred. I would say use it's analog for action games like TR Legend, Contra & similar.

Finest D-pad around
What a great controller! It will improve your game in Hyper Street Fighter 2, Bomberman, and any other 2D-style game. The Turbo feature is nice. My only complaint is the analog sticks are too loose - I wouldn't play Halo 2 with this pad.

The only pad to have for DOA players
This is the best pad for fighting games. Feels very tight and good all around. Buy one now if you play DOA4.

Excellent controller
If you're frustraited with the poor performance the Microsoft controller gives you especially with the D-pad then give this controller a try. I've not had any problems out of mine as far as button accuracy goes, at one point I thought the controller wasn't working properlly and I contacted Hori's support they would have sent me a replacement controller, but it turns out that the saftey detachment on the controller cable had slightly came apart, so it works fine now. The point is Hori was willing to replace the controller no questions asked.

Buttons didn't work
When I receivd my controller the X and Y have to be jammed to work. I bought this controller to rectify the default controllers crummy d-pad. What a waste of money, I'd rather use a crummy d-pad then unuseable buttons.

Hori usually has such good products...
