pretty cool i was amazed by the quality the colors the sharpness everything is great! i am using my samsung widescreen 19inch monitor, though i really cant tell which resolution is better, regardless of the resolutions its still fantastic!
Absolute Winner! I've bought three 3rd Party VGA cables and none of them compared to the quality that I was able to get with the Official MS VGA Cable. Text are sharper and colors are more vibrant. The blur or double vision that I got from 3rd party VGA cables were gone. This is a great buy!
The Extra Details... Very satisified with this product! Not only have Microsoft included the [female VGA] to [female VGA] adaptor that most people will need, they were also kind enough to throw in a [female RCA audio] to [male 3.5mm audio] adaptor for those that want to route the audio into their sound card and out their PC speakers/headphones.
My only disappointment is that the pins on the VGA side are all bent and badly aligned, but leaving it in the adaptor for a while will straighten that up.
concidering if you ever want to buy a hd/vga/componen cable than keep in mind that you better of using a lcdscreen or vga monitor because a hd ready plasma and/or hd ready tv does,nt support real hd,instead it has the same amount of pixels like pal/ntsc tv,s duo to economic reasons, despites images will looks much better than normal but,i tink you better off waiting untill there will be plasmas/tv,s with same amount of pixels like vga monitors does ass if,s the price for those plasma,s/tv,s will be more increase.
resolution as many may think that this cable will get you 1080p it wont, it only dose at most if your monitor can supprot it 1280x1024 and 1360x768 at its highest settings, if you have a PC monitor that can support 1080p then i sudgest you get a componet to vga converter.
But if you dont have a large or HD tv to play on, but have a nice monitor and want that extra detal this would be the way to go to convert a good monitor to to an HD screen.
