Weak air circulation
I noticed with this product that the panel on the bottom of the cooler significantly reduces the blowing power from the fans because the panel cuts off the air circulation.

It not that it's a bad product, it is just not really optimized of its full potential. If you remove the back panel and raise it away from the floor, you will notice a significant surge in wind strength which really cools the XBox very well.

I think it's a good product, but you'll need to mod it slightly to really get the real benefit from it.

Good design...but crap
Reading the other glowing reviews here, I excitedly bought Power Cooling Stand...what a waste of $30. The product design is top notch and very professional but it fails in the most important aspect of all; it simply DOES NOT WORK.

What's the point of a cooling stand that DOESN'T cool? My Xbox suffers from the 2 Red Rings (overheating issues...NOT RROD) and since my warranty's been out for awhile (remember, MS 3 year warranty ONLY applies to RRODs) this seemed like the perfect solution.

So I bought it, plugged it in excitedly and got my first disappointment. The air flow was barely there...at all. I put my hand on it, barely felt it. Put it near my cheek, barely felt it. Wary (but still optimistic), I fitted the 360 into the slot and played some Mercenaries 2.

Around 5 minutes into the game, the picture abruptly dies and the 2 Red Lights (surprise!) springs to life on the Xbox's face. That pretty much guarantees that the product doesn't work right there...

For those with real overheating issues like me, I guess the best issue is to take apart your 360 and install a real heavy duty fan inside. Tutorials abound on the net so it isn't hard to do. Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews...this sucker doesn't work at all on overheating issues.

It's easy to use,fan is cool,stable but not quiet.It's loud,nearly the same as XBOX 360 but this thing does its job!

Excellent product
I never really had any red rings of death but i was scared reading how many people were getting them...

Also after playing my xbox for few hours it was freezing and was definately overheating.

So i bought this amazing cooler and my xbox works for hours and hours.. i have great confidence that this product is really cooling the inners of the console and is worth every penny of your hard earned money..

Do not hesitate to buy it...it draws power from your Xbox 360's usb jack...
And yeah my console has never frozen since i bought this product..

Best $30 I ever spent
I have had the Red ring of death two times now, and i am sick of my xbox overheating and the fans not being able to keep it cool enough. Most of the damage is done when you turn your console off, because there is still hot air inside the console, but the fans are no longer running, which means it isnt being circulated and thus destroys joints and damages components. But this is where this fan comes in, you can leave it on after you have turned your console off and it keeps circulating the air and does a great job. I used to get heaps of really hot air out of my console, now i get hardly any, its its only luke warm. it is quite noisy, but it is completely worth every cent.
