decent and it does it's job
I'm quite cool with the money i paid for this item, considering that many others out there cost more than this. There may be mixed reviews so far but i'm happy with my purchase for sure.

Weak air circulation
I noticed with this product that the panel on the bottom of the cooler significantly reduces the blowing power from the fans because the panel cuts off the air circulation.

It not that it's a bad product, it is just not really optimized of its full potential. If you remove the back panel and raise it away from the floor, you will notice a significant surge in wind strength which really cools the XBox very well.

I think it's a good product, but you'll need to mod it slightly to really get the real benefit from it.

Good design...but crap
Reading the other glowing reviews here, I excitedly bought Power Cooling Stand...what a waste of $30. The product design is top notch and very professional but it fails in the most important aspect of all; it simply DOES NOT WORK.

What's the point of a cooling stand that DOESN'T cool? My Xbox suffers from the 2 Red Rings (overheating issues...NOT RROD) and since my warranty's been out for awhile (remember, MS 3 year warranty ONLY applies to RRODs) this seemed like the perfect solution.

So I bought it, plugged it in excitedly and got my first disappointment. The air flow was barely there...at all. I put my hand on it, barely felt it. Put it near my cheek, barely felt it. Wary (but still optimistic), I fitted the 360 into the slot and played some Mercenaries 2.

Around 5 minutes into the game, the picture abruptly dies and the 2 Red Lights (surprise!) springs to life on the Xbox's face. That pretty much guarantees that the product doesn't work right there...

For those with real overheating issues like me, I guess the best issue is to take apart your 360 and install a real heavy duty fan inside. Tutorials abound on the net so it isn't hard to do. Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews...this sucker doesn't work at all on overheating issues.

It's easy to use,fan is cool,stable but not quiet.It's loud,nearly the same as XBOX 360 but this thing does its job!

Excellent product
I never really had any red rings of death but i was scared reading how many people were getting them...

Also after playing my xbox for few hours it was freezing and was definately overheating.

So i bought this amazing cooler and my xbox works for hours and hours.. i have great confidence that this product is really cooling the inners of the console and is worth every penny of your hard earned money..

Do not hesitate to buy it...it draws power from your Xbox 360's usb jack...
And yeah my console has never frozen since i bought this product..

Best $30 I ever spent
I have had the Red ring of death two times now, and i am sick of my xbox overheating and the fans not being able to keep it cool enough. Most of the damage is done when you turn your console off, because there is still hot air inside the console, but the fans are no longer running, which means it isnt being circulated and thus destroys joints and damages components. But this is where this fan comes in, you can leave it on after you have turned your console off and it keeps circulating the air and does a great job. I used to get heaps of really hot air out of my console, now i get hardly any, its its only luke warm. it is quite noisy, but it is completely worth every cent.

I bought both vertical stand and back cooling system , I was suffering from the 3-red rings recently , after a little modification on the vertical stand , I equiped these two cooling system on my X360 , the vertical stand was perfectly match !! now I have the cold air draft from the bottom and hot air exhaust from the back !! I am able to play my X360 again !! nice products !! efficiency and good looking !!

Power Cooling Stand
It's very good quality (almost feels official), the on/off lets you keep it going even after turning off your xbox (the time it most needs cooling down in my opinion, espectialy after playing online !).
Yes i'll admit it's loud (twice as much as the xbox alone, but hey i also have a PS3 and i can tell you that even alone the 360 is loud.) but theres no way you can hear it when your playing, unless you play without sound or really low volume (and that's just plain crazy!).
For such a low price you can't go wrong, so just buy it !

I went to to buy one like this product .. but they don't have any idea about " Vertical Stand Cooling System " humhp .. who care !

I'm very happe and satisfied about this good fan .. otherwise for this reasons :

1- 2 days after order and its next door knocking , hello sir this is ur order sign here.

2- I wasn't able to play my 360 because of over heat .. now I can play up to 7 hours without having red lights !

3- good Idea for standing and giving the 360 more stability to avoid scrathing your DVD .

4- using less than 12 voltes " cool no need to worry ".

5- the fans actually not that loud .. only thing I hear is the air sound pulling off from the xbox outside.

6- when u turn off ur 360 there is high chance that heats will increase , as a result a part in ur 360 might be dameged , all what u need is this fan to keep it working for 15 minutes to cool ur xbox.

7- I was playing while my little brother shooting his footlball .. and it hit my xbox but its still standing and thanks to this product.


finally .. cheers up who bought this fan .. very cheap and good service :)

Stand with fans
Good quality product,cool idea to put your remote on the side,Fans are a little loud but when 5.1 is cranking who cares.

A decent stand... that is
Design's good... but the fan... its not that helpful in cooling the system.

If you want a decent vertical stand (as if the system cannot stand on its own) w/ a media remote holder you might as well get this one.

Also, it makes use of the backport USB port just like other third party cooling devices. Stay away from this if your using a wireless adapter.
