Everything that made the legendary Street Fighter II a hit in the arcades, living rooms and dormitories across the globe has been brought back in Street Fighter IV. Players will be able to play their favorite classic characters, such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile, along with new characters, including Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Great game! The graphics are pretty good (still a bit cartoon-ish; unlike Tekken or Soul Calibur), game play is excellent, and there are always challengers online keen to give you a run for your money. Good bang for your buck if you're a past fan of SF.
Shiny It's great to see a 2D fighting game staying true to its roots. While I love 3D fightings, I gotta say it's not an upgrade of 2D fighting, but a different genre of game altogether. So it's very disappointing that there have been less and less 2D fighting games since the 3D ones came out. This game really shows that a 2D fighting game can have the same old style and feel with updated graphics that rivals any 3D fighting games.
Overall, very much worth buying for any die hard 2D fighting fans. Also a great introduction to the charm of 2D fighting for anyone who missed out the height of the 2D fighting games.
