Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End is the exciting new video game inspired by the events of the second and third installments of the incredibly successful Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. Another Average Game There are rare gems, games based on movies that don't suck, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, sadly is not one of them.
Pirates is graphically pretty well done, but gameplay itself is incredibly simplistic and boring. It also seems as though they were in such a rush to make this game they forgot to watch the movie, because the game and movies are wildly different in parts.
The game is relatively short, and it is NOT a sandbox game like many people seem to think it is. It is a structured, linear, progressive level game. I guess if you want all the achievements this game may take a little more time to get through, but I can think of better things to spend my time doing. Replayability for non-hardcore players is zero.
Like Shrek The Third, this one will be in bargain bins soon enough. Wait until then to buy it.
Decent platform game Its pretty amazing they could cram such scope of gameplay in a movie tie-in but the developers were able to do it quite nicely. This is actually a good game if you like action/platform games.
