beautiful in it's own sick, twisted way
if you played Gears 1 and thought it was good prepare to be blown away. Gears 2 is unreal ,it has everything blood,violence and chainsaw duels!the game play is so much smoother and the graphics are so realistic you feel like your in the game fighting the locust horde.instead of the cog tags you could collect in the 1st Gears you now collect little notes and letters that tell you about different things happening on Seara.and last but not least there are loads of new weapons and ways to kill your enemy.
so if your looking for some blood soaked fun buy this game and enjoy!

Gears of War 2
Marcus Fenix is back and, this time, developer Epic Games is trying hard to put a meaningful storyline to this exploding shooter. What really got my undivided attention was the eye-popping graphics - surely among the best seen in any console game - and the intense action-packed gameplay. Like the original, you control a single character but fight in a team of humans against the alien race called the Locust. You get to choose from a myriad of weapons, human and Locust, including the Gnasher shotgun for short range shots, the Lancer assault rifle which doubles as a melee weapon with its chainsaw bayonet and the Mortar which lets you fire a bomb to decimate the enemy. The multiplayer cooperative Horde mode is also extremely fun as you and up to four other friends can join hands to fight waves and waves of increasingly tougher Locust monsters.

Good continuation Gears of War. Has pleased more sated colours and it has even Russian subtitles in the game.

Great Game
One of the best XBOX360 game of all time. Can't wait for next one if epic want to make one more... But multiplayer need more work on. also note if you have japan account you can't download the extra map with code
