Better for the non KOF fans
I'm not a huge KOF and fighting games in general fan. Basically because I suck. I loved the new Street Fighter, but it was too tought for me. Somehow this game has worst for several aspects and reminds me a last generation fighter, but I enjoyed it more. So if you are a hardcore fighter, maybe this will be pretty boring, but if you're more the casual gamer kind of player, you'd love this game.

KOF XII patch has improved netcode
The patch released back in September 09 has greatly improved the netcode and makes the game finally enjoyable online.
KOF XII is one of the most fast-paced versus fighting game around. As true KOF fan you should not miss this one.
Asian version works flawlessly on European PS3.

The king of Fighters XII
Yes it's been a long time coming ,but is it any good ,well in a one word 'YES' but it's not the best King of Fighters game,mainly because of it's lack of characters and no story mode .The graphics are brilliant and the game play sublime but there's just to little of it.It basically is a time attack version over 5 levels.NOT ENOUGH FOR ME .Online at the moment is poor and the lobbies uninviting.Even though there is a patch coming soon ,check out the official twitter and face-book sites.I'm glad i got it (i bought the Korean version)but here's to the next one which is in the pipeline .Bring on King of Fighters XIII

King of Fighters XII
I waited for this for some time ,as being a fan of the series.I ordered the Korea version as it was reasonable and region free.Upon playing i found the graphics sublime to say the least given they had not gone the 3d route.But compared to earlier versions i found it lacked somewhat in content.Even though i recommend this to all fans of the series it is not the game that would convert you into a KOF fan.Which is a shame as i wanted it to be the best yet.But maybe next time.I am still glad i purchased it but i feel it will not be long before you complete with all characters ,There is the online play ,but i felt this lacked when compared to Street fighter 4's online model,Even the lobby's are uninviting.

It sucks:

- one special move by character
- around 10 or 12 charatcers only
- no boss
- not as beautiful as I expected
- played it 15 min and sold it....

Just don't buy it and wait for the next ones.
