I found this game addicting even if I am not a Beatles fan. Most of the songs I heard only here but they grew on me as I played them. Play-Asia's price is the cheapest I found and beats the prices locally. I opted for free delivery and got the game in perfect condition within 12 days. Not bad!

I've been listening to the Beatles since I was a kid and to be able to sing AND play to their songs is like the best thing ever.

The gameplay isn't terribly different from previous entries in the Rock Band series, although the new vocal harmonies feature should draw more singers, or people who want to participate in the game, but don't go for the plastic instruments much. Special attention has been paid to period details and the venues you'll be playing in, and the game has clearly been crafted with care. In addition, the songs chosen for the game have been carefully selected to cater to the whole spectrum of Beatles admirers.
If you're a Beatles fan, you should definitely take a look, and even if you aren't, chances are you might become one after playing this game.

I like beatles, and I really like this game. I can't put this on the playstation without wanting to play all the songs.
Unfortunately, it is missing a few songs that I would like (yesterday, hey jude, help), but the selection is still very good.

if you haven't had a clue yet on why your mom and dad were gaga of The Beatles back in the day, this game will definitely tell you why. Amazing interface, great group play, and 100% compatible with the new Band Hero intruments. Easy is not as easy as Guitar Hero games which is good as you get to learn how to play on Easy. One of the top games i've purchased in my xbox career! defintely a must buy especially if you already have the instruments.

The only issue I had was that some of the songs were a bit too simple and didn't pose a challenge - for those hardcore Rock Banders who believe the game must involve your fingers dropping off, this will be the sole sore point.
Otherwise, the details in the game are flawless, the storyline's a fun mode to play; and after this game, you'll love the Beatles if you don't already.

I would say that TB:RB is Harmonix's masterpiece! But I'm suspicius to make this review, since I'm a very long time fan of Beatles (21 years old... listening them since my 4-5 years - thanks Dad for playing Sgt. Peppers). I was very suprised, though that this game will be "too easy" even on Expert, but the Harmonies Vocals was "Da Catch". With 3 mics, 4 friends who like Beatles = fun for all night.
Also, great visual work from Harmonix. The band, the venues, the Dreamscapes... everything, veeeery beautiful.

Actually, this is funny. I just got an e-mail from Play Asia asking me to write a review about The Beatles: Rock Band one day after I've understood a very important thing. I understood that this game is the best video game I've ever played. I know it might sound over enthusiastic, but it is true. All the Marios and Monkey Islands in the world cannot top a game that is an absolute masterpiece combining the best songs ever written, and overwhelming design, an amazing understanding and analysis of music, and pure fun. I've played a lot of Rock Band and Guitar Hero games before, but nothing comes even close to this one. It is obviously a work of pure love.
One of the best things about this game is that if you are a Beatles fan, and you've already listened to their songs thousands of times, playing them here makes you see the music in a whole new way. Playing one particular instrument every time forces you to listen only to that one, resulting a unique experience that lets you hear things you've never heard before.
Buying this game is worth every penny. This is a great party game, and the DLCs make it even better. You'll never get tired of it.

I own Rock Band 2 but I wanted to experience something new. This game is what I was expecting: new songs, harmonies, all about the story of the beatles (which I didn't know).
Visually it's also very good.

What a great game. The efforts put in this game by the staff definitely worth while. All of the vocal harmonics match the beatles songs exactly like they are really meant to be.

Definitely the most fun I had with the GH/RB series yet. The music selection is great, though it is a shame there is so little of it. I hope the DLC comes fast and cheap. The dreamscapes are a feast for the eye and they give the first reason in history to watch the background in a GH/RB game. I've played the Wii version and the dreamscapes are still great to look at. If you like The Beatles, this is a must buy.

Fanservice comes in many forms. Sometimes it's boring, other times a little scary but never before have I seen it so beautifully rendered. The Beatles Rock Band is a beautiful retelling of the Beatles story and fantastically entertaining the whole way through. The lack of a few songs from the back catalogue that I would have thought were obvious choices is a pity but the list is solid and more can be added through dlc later.
My only reservation is if you're not a fan of the Beatles there's very little challenge for the long time Rock Band/Guitar Hero fans.
