An awesome game to have and play!
If you are a huge fan of KOF, then you HAVE to buy this game!
Even if you are not, you can still enjoy the game~
It is similar to the other fighting games such as Blazblue and Guilty Gear series.

Most enjoyable Fighting Game
Had tons of fun playing this game with story mode and arcade mode. Still the best fighting game around. The only and minor sat back for this game is the cut scene are without vocal / oral dialogue. Other then that it is 5 star.

I love this game it has everything a great fighter needs; solid gameplay, beautiful music, and eye popping 2D art this should be called the King of Fighters 2012! Play-Asia sent me the SE with the great soundtrack collection, thank you Play-Asia for this wonderful holiday treat.

After the disappointing KOF XII this is a welcome return to form. The artwork is stunning, the underlying combat system excellent, and unlike its predecessor there is a wealth of content. Online experience can be patchy depending on where in the world you're located. Definitely worth a purchase if you're a fighting game fan.

The last KoF was supposed to be a rebirth for the series, however it wasn't what fans had expected and therefore not a successful way to re-invent the King of Fighters franchise.
The King of Fighters XIII is the true rebirth since it does everything right.
A much larger roster of characters and an extremely deep fighting system that gets rid of the "guessing game" KoF XII was.
You get to experience the continuation of the Ash crimson saga with all of your favourite KoF characters. Some returning fan favourites include: Mai Shiranui and K!
You'll be playing for hours to get through all the modes and challenges even before you'll ever think about multiplayer. That being said; the online multiplayer has had some issues after the game was released but they're working on improving it and i have to say it's already working better than when i first played.
Overall, if you like KOF you have to get this. The series is going back to the top and you may just forget about KOF XII since KOF XIII is the true REBIRTH!!!

The KOF Series is Revived.
When I thought that KOF XII killed the series by being a half-baked game that looked really amazing but with no taste at all, KOF XIII came out to give us that delicious flavor we use to have with the previews games, this game truly revived the series and puts it in its rightful place among fighting games giants, like XII the graphics are nothing less than beautiful, it’s true art, the soundtracks catches the ears, once the music starts you can’t close your ears, the sound effects are the most notable things in this game, the punches the kicks are all sounds loud and you can feel how painful they are, another thing is how the footsteps sounds, they sounds absolutely right, the game play is fun and deep you will keep on playing to master new moves and combos, this is one of the best KOF games I’ve played in a long time if only SNK playmore added more characters to it, it would’ve been perfect.

Beatifull

Since I received KoFXIII via Play-Asia's pre-order service (which is great by the way), this game absoulutely engaged my attention. I actually played the Arcade Version a while ago and I did like it, but the console version with all these new features is even better. Hardly any KoF so far was so much fun as the 13th installment of the series, I easily rank KoFXIII as one of the series' best game. Forget the unfinished product that 12 was, this here is the real deal!

Some classic fightning with a demonstration of HD Sprites!
Basically, this is a King of Fighters game with HD graphics, showing that sprites are another type of graphics, and that not everything has to have 3D Models.
Fights get really frenetic when 2 people of high skills are playing, there are so many flashes, explosions, fire and stuff all over the place, and the awesome classic japense people screaming their ability names makes up for awesome matches.
There are several modes to play, from the basics (such as arcade and story) to missions and online.
This KoF has everything a good fighting game has to have, and shows that sprites can do the job when done right.
Basically, this is a King of Fighters game with HD graphics, showing that sprites are another type of graphics, and that not everything has to have 3D Models.

Not bad for a KOF game but the graphics is so smooth, still a little bit of jaggies keep it from perfection, I wish KOF could be like Streen Fighter IV graphics then it is going to be awesome. Hope that they will do it in the future. So buy please support them , buy their games and hope that SNK Playmore could give us a better game in the future. But for now this will do it, still a great game, get it!! :)

The saga of SNK is great standard of the classic struggle of the nineties to issue 98, along with many other deliveries each personally choose. With the revival of the fighting genre with Street Fighter IV, there were other proposals that seemed convincing. One was BlazBlue, picking up the baton from the Guilty Gear, and was also King of Fighters XII, which promised the same thing but in their series. It failed.
This is a fighting game as it should be so complex and deep as required and sufficient KOF game modes such as not to bore ever.
The spectacular combos start flowing and gave way to discover a deep combat system and different from what we can offer other games on the market. The fact that the online check reasonably well and the game is so complex to master a hundred per cent and rewarding to do, not only confirmed the return of the king.

With the revival of the fighting genre with Street Fighter IV, there were other proposals that seemed convincing. One was BlazBlue, picking up the baton from the Guilty Gear, and was also King of Fighters XII, which promised the same thing but in their series. It failed.
This is a fighting game as it should be so complex and deep as required and sufficient KOF game modes such as not to bore ever.
The spectacular combos start flowing and gave way to discover a deep combat system and different from what we can offer other games on the market. The fact that the online check reasonably well and the game is so complex to master a hundred per cent and rewarding to do, not only confirmed the return of the king.

For a long time I've been waiting for the release of this game. Now with new graphics and new fighting system, The king of fighters once one of the best fighting games turns to be the BEST, thats for sure. A lot of people complain about the 2D graphics, for me, the graphics are just insane and stuning. But the playability is what makes this kof a awesome game. It is a must have for any fighting game enthusiastic.

Great KOF game for HD generations
KOF XIII is a great fighting game, 30 plus characters, fast-paced fighting game compared to KOF XII, NeoMax moves, amazing graphic.
What I also like is the characters' dialogue before and after the fight, it's really a great addition to deepens each characters' personality and their relations to other characters.
I also bought the pre-order version of this game where I got cool 4 CDs original soundtrack from KOF '94 to KOF XIII - Most songs are in their original NeoGeo version, but the better arranged version songs also included although only a few. And from KOF XI to KOF XIII songs, they're all have same quality (or even better) as arranged version of previous KOFs songs. :)
