Grand Theft Horse Red Dead Redemption
The first time I heard Rockstar Games, the makers of the most epic sandbox games I've played were creating a wild western open world game, I was very much interested in it. When I first tried Red Dead Redemption it was unique, interesting and masterfully written. I first played it on my friends xbox and I knew I had to get it for my PS3 and play through the whole thing again.
The game itself is very fun and challenging in its own way that will keep you playing through the night. And through time you very much get attached to your character as it tells the tale of how your character came to be. The only problem that came with the game are the great number of bugs that can be found in the game. Like your horse suddenly dying in a middle of a chase or being teleported instantly from a different area to a different area of a map.
Overall this game is fun, enjoyable and will keep you playing till you finish the game.

Instant Classic !
As a matter of fact, you must have played this game weather or not you like GTA or Western movies.
It will keep you busy even if you let the main story aside.
Hunt, rob, save people or tie them up on the railway... explore the "not so huge" world, discover treasures and make yourself a name... become a legend of the west.

My Favourite Game of 2010!
Despite playing a lot of games, I wasn't really interested in Red Dead Redemption before release. I'm not a Western fan (Back to the Future III aside!), and I'd found GTAIV clunky and dull.
But on a whim, I ordered it immediately after launch. And wow! I was hooked! The single-player campaign is breath-taking - the view, the environment, the setting, everything is just done so well. The gameplay is smooth and fun, and the quests are engaging.
And getting a posse of friends together in multiplayer is great! Whether you're messing around in the Mexican desert shooting coyotes, defending an abandoned fort from waves of police, or pitching your gang of friends against another gang in a shootout, there's always plenty to do - although I'd often find myself bluffing through a tense game of Liar's Dice.
Great game, great DLC. Absolutely stunning. Buy it!

It's like fine wine
The game grows so well as you keep playing it. It's expansive universe bursts out new flavours with every play and new experiences and objectives only enhance the experience. Even if you didn't really like GTA (I didn't), this is worth a purchase.

Outlaws to the end!!!
The game is big at map size and possibilities, so you have many of secundary mission at each mission you do (just like GTA) until you're making a long travel to get your point and the world of american west is a nice thing! You ride for all map and new things happens!!! I recommend the game for a single player. The multiplayer mode is so good to, but I does not found any interesting mode than the basic free roam.

Fun game
i was never a fan of shooting games but i must say this game surprised me, for some reason i did enjoy it a lot than i expected there are a lot of missions and side quest that gamers will surely enjoy.

This game is GREAT! It's immerses you into this cowboy world in a superb way. Open world, awesome gunslinger action with cool horse control dynamics. It could use a little more interaction with the world and NPC. Also takes some time to get used to the story line and pacing.
Overall, it's really a great game, worth looking into! I'd recommend this for any western/cowboy movie fans!

One of the Best Zombie Games Ever
A nostalgic zombie game set in the West makes this a worthwhile collection! The only shortcoming is none other than shortages in ammo but this in turn renders the game much scarier especially when you're surrounded by the undead with nothing to defend yourself with.

I bought the game to see what the hype was about - because a lot of other gamers have been telling me that it is a great game and after playing it for over 20 hours now, I can't recommend this game enough. If you enjoyed the GTA series, then you'll fit into the Wild Wild West setting very easily.

If you thought this was just Grand Theft Auto with horses you'd be completely misinformed. Indeed, it does share some core similarities with the GTA series, but Red Dead Redemption is its own beast and can stand completely unique from the slew of games out there.
The world is vast, offering desert landscapes and immersing you in the Western cowboy-themed atmosphere. And, it's done vividly to the point where sometimes it'll rob you of your breath. There's something amazing about hopping on your horse and galloping through old dirt paths as the sun is breaking rays of light through the orange skies and the distant hilltops.
But graphics aren't the only thing that make this game. There's just so much to do in this world. The main quest's narrative will absolutely rope you in as it's shrouded in mystery, never revealing quite everything. Then, there are the sidequests, plenty to keep you occupied from hunting to retrieving bounties to playing poker.
In short, simply amazing and highly recommended.

Childhood fantasy.
Red Dead Redemption brings to life many a childhood fantasy about being a cowboy. It has the perfect setting, awesome visuals and ambient music with the voice acting to match. There's many a nod to classic cowboy fiction for anyone who enjoys the odd wild west movie or two.
If you have played a 3D GTA you know what to expect, story missions connected to key characters and many side missions and jobs hidden throughout the landscape.
I found the gunplay to be more refined than GTA4 and riding horses to be a joy, quite unlike the tug-of-war efforts I found (at times) with GTAs cars.
As usual from Rockstar, the game is huge, the story alone will take many hours to finish. If you get into side missions, such as poker playing or bounty hunting your game time will multiply.
The game has a tidy online component that seems to be quite a success, though it didn't interest my tastes so much.
All in all, another great game from Rockstar that I totally recommend. They even managed to fit zombies into a western without it being rubbish, a worthy piece of DLC if you still want more after achieving redemption.

Never boring, lots of challenges/quests to do. Huge map to explore. Great voice acting, sound, music and graphics. This special edition comes with a DLC card for assassin outfit, golden guns, a war horse and the OST so it's worth every cent.

Unsurprisingly great.
There isn't much to say about Red Dead Redemption (RDR) except that it was all that I expected. The game looks amazing, has great voice acting and has the same structure as GTA. Story missions and side missions are shown on a map and the player is free to complete them as they open up or simply fool around riding horses, causing trouble or playing poker.
The inclusion of an online mode has me intrigued and I'm sure it will be loved by many players, but I am yet to be convinced by it enough for it to take me away from the single player game. One final mention goes to the setting, I know little of the time period the game is set but I love the 'taming' of the old west presented. The fact that the main character is a relic from the wild west (and is oddly likeable) adds to the charm of this title, buy it!
There isn't much to say about Red Dead Redemption (RDR) except that it was all that I expected. The game looks amazing, has great voice acting and has the same structure as GTA. Story missions and side missions are shown on a map and the player is free to complete them as they open up or simply fool around riding horses, causing trouble or playing poker.
The inclusion of an online mode has me intrigued and I'm sure it will be loved by many players, but I am yet to be convinced by it enough for it to take me away from the single player game. Best Game Ever
This is maybe my all-time favourite game. I have it on PS3 already but I just got an Xbox and I decided to play through it all again and do multiplayer with my Xbox buddies.
This game is so good I bought it twice. I'll be buying the DLC a second time as well.

Huge map, awesome graphic and great gameplay
Let's say this game is the MOST WANTED because of it's gameplay. You can ride within the enormous map of the wild west and stop to see the beautiful sunset, well that's quite satisfied me. The shooting is cool.

Amazing game!
The best rockstar videogame so far in my opinion. Much much better than GTA IV.
Cool storyline, great characters, nice graphics and many things to do.
It took me about 40 hours of play to finish this one.

With this game, Rockstar achieved a higher standard in sandbox games! It's not just "Western GTA", it's a powerfull game, build around a very strong history in the wild west. The impressive landscapes, the feeling of riding through the night in the open land, it's all there!

I bought this game on a whim, my first one from Rockstar games. Compared to the GTA series, it's impressive!
It's looks almost real. This was the kind of graphics I dreamt of as a kid thinking about the future of video games. It's like you have control of the main character in a movie.
On top of amazing graphics, there's so much in it I can't include it in this review. Heated hunting, enticing gambling, horse back conversations and random act of crime. While playing this game, you can experience what is was like to live in the western frontier of America, along with the culture and customs. That is what makes this game a great experience for me!

I don't know what I was looking for, when I bought RDR. I guess I gave in to the hype after all. :-D But the first few hours with the game were not too exciting. The game is beautiful though, I'll give it that.
It's just that... the characters and the story, they feel so false. I don't know how to say it, but I don't believe them, it feels as though I'm watching a bad movie. So it's kinda hard to get immersed into the game. The game mechanics also feel stale, maybe because I finished GTA IV not so long ago.

The game play world is absolutely jaw dropping. You'll never get sick of riding around on horses and blasting folk who get on the wrong side of your gun. Plus the storyline is brilliant with superb voice acting. Without a doubt game of the year.

Wow, what a game. In true Rockstar fashion, this game is straight from the GTA mold but with a few more tweaks and twists thrown in. The western setting is ideal and while some may claim this is a mere GTA clone, it is more than that. Great storyline, excellent characters and addictive gameplay make for a must-own PS3 game. The freedom of the game sets it apart from any other game, including GTA. A large number of side-missions keep the level of interest high throughout and the difficulty setting is just right IMO. You can decide what path you want your character John Marsden to take - a good, law-abiding citizen. Or a outlaw. Both are a great deal of fun although if you want to complete the story 100%, you'll need to follow the letter of the law in a lot of situations. Hunting and Marksman missions are lots of fun and some of the challenges leave you pondering better/alternative ways to do things should you fail the first time around. A large variety of weapons makes the game even more fun. Online play is good too, no connection problems at all and if you find yourself out-skilled, you can do online missions by yourself or with a buddy to build up your XP and hence your skill. My only "complaint" would be the money system in the game. Don't get me wrong, it's needed - to buy/upgrade weapons & ammo, to buy maps of areas or sometimes even during stranger missions. You can hunt and skin animals, collect their pelts and sell them for money. You can help out people around the town too, often for a cash reward, or take on the bounties around everywhere. The problem is it is too easy to get too MUCH money. After a while, you're left with excess cash in the bank and no way of spending it. Somehow carrying this over to the online game for further upgrades would be better, or even making things more expensive in-game too. But a minor complaint to an otherwise fantastic game. A must-own title!

Great Game!
Great Graphics! Better than GTA Series... very realistic world and addictive too! I dont know any guy who didnt pretend to be a cowboy when they were young! This game fulfills every child's fantasy! Definitely a must buy for every person who owns a game console.. i havent tried the multiplayer yet.. i am sure its gonna be AWESOME!! Roaming around the virtual world terrorizing or helping citizens.. haha.. i even dream about this game when i sleep... cant get enough of it!!

Amazing game

This is a very good game, recreating the experience of a spaghetti western in the minimal details!
Rockstar nailed me really good this time, it's been a long time since a game hooked me up to the screen, making me want to play it till the end. And it's been a long time since I felt worried that the game could end one day... Damn it, release a sequel, please!

Where to start, TONS of missions, mini missions and out-of-the-blue surprises. Lots of weapons and interesting in-game shops and services. Really like the slo-mo option to take out enemies and the massive huge land to just wander around. You are not restricted to missions, you can do side-jobs, exploring, etc. Just really amazing how Rockstar games really opened up the gameplay.

I just completed 100% of single player after about 45 hours of gameplay. But the game doesn't end there. I have put in an additional 5 to 10 hours ONLY IN A FEW DAYS on multiplayer. There are great co-op modes, free-for-alls and still 3 DLCs to come! Great game. Great story. Great action in both main and side story lines. And now, Great online modes! Must buy game with a huge amount of gameplay.

This was one of the best games I bought this year, has the same mechanism of GTA but with cowboy theme.

Solid gunplay and horseriding. Interesting, though cliched, characters and situations. Only real complaint is how it got kind of tired of long, long rides everywhere or sitting through only somewhat shorter "fast travel" loading screens. Even though that's the only complaint, in such an epic game, it does play a big part.

Fantastically immersive
Westerns seem to be a rarity these days, but it seems the few that come to us as games, movies or shows have put in far more effort to making them work well rather than churning out the same old formula we see in other genres. That said we still have plenty of the stereotypical types found in westerns but rather than detract they enhance the authenticity of the american west. The main story is well written with nicely choreographed cut scenes and all the dialogue needed delivered well by the voice actors. While the main story can set an urgent pace once you have completed the immediate task you are free to either head to the next part of the story or just wander off and do your own thing. Whether its hunting down bandits, collecting pelts for the challenges or just heading for the saloon and its poker table there is plenty to do. The environment is huge and you can just ride off and start exploring. The game will throw up random encounters no matter where you are which just keeps the variety and interest rolling along. While the game does contain profanities its really just a natural part of the rough and raw nature of this period and its all in-character...I definitely commend Rockstar for not trying to substitute more modern/polite terms instead as that would ruin the atmosphere. This is a surprisingly addictive game and I've found myself being unable to put it down. I enjoy being able to just go slow at my own pace, trying to fulfill every challenge that I can can and coming back to the main story when I feel I'm ready.
I'm in Australia and bought the Asia version. All game and manuals are completely in English. However the addon available from the sony store does not appear to be valid for this region combo.

Single player has a knockout story, and has an endless amount of things to do...and even if you finish them all...you will feel compelled to do it all over again.

Red Dead Redemption Review
This is an interesting game I bought as I'm a big fan of the Rockstar GTA series. To me it seems a little rustic and clunky at times, but it works well with wild west settings, which the game takes place in.
The missions are fun, so are the weapons you can use.
There are a lot of funny moments in the game, like calling for your horse in the middle of a gun battle, making for a quick get away.
I would recommend this game, but if you are not a big fan of wild west movies or other games of this type, I would suggest you skip this game and stick to the normal GTA game series.

Red Dead Redemption is an excellent game from a single-player perspective. Great storyline with some interesting moments in a game that allows you to explore a vast landscape at your own pace. The visuals are truly breathtaking to behold. Riding cross-country and witnessing the last rays of sunlight flickering over a distant mountain range is spectacular... as is riding through a thunderous storm while being chased by bandits!
The only disappointing aspect of the game is the online experience. Riding around with friends quickly grows tiresome as there is little to do other than raid the same places over and over again or deal with constant attacks from higher-level players.
Aside from this, RDR remains a classic game and if you enjoyed the GTA series or watching Clint Eastwood westerns then this is the game for you.

Great game! The vast expanse of the game environment is just mind-blowing and there a re so many things to do and see and Im only 10% thru the game.
Graphics are high quality as is the voice acting and sound. Gameplay is great too - you're free to do whatever you want while still progressing the story.

Its just that good!!!
This is by far the best game released in this year and one of the best of the PS. RDR sucessfully bring the Wild West Era with lots of details, TONS of things to do beside the main missions (side quests, hunting, duels, help people, treasure hunt, poker, blackjack, etc), funny characters and one of the best graphic of the PS3

One of the most immersive games I've ever played. The detail of the landscape is stunning, and if you are playing on a very large screen you will actually feel you are in the Old West. There is a ton of stuff to do besides the main quest, and with hunting being the most fun distraction from the story. If you like open world sandbox games like Fallout or Grand Theft Auto, do yourself a favor and pick up RDR.

A Wild Wild Experience
Finally a great wild west video games, where the player can choose to be a white stallion cowboy, or a bank robbing outlaw. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys exploring a huge detailed map full of events, and who is looking to get into impressive gunfights.

feels like a western you'd watch on tv.
You would of heard if you love GTA. you will Love this, but even if you hate GTA
you could very well love this. i personaly never liked the GTA franchise but i still loved this game, so free and fun. the FPS aspect of the game is really good. story line is excellent, graphics are 10/10 and the sounds is just as good.
i did not find many bugs, if any it was little things like, when i would go to ride on my horse it would run away from me, or when i call for it the horse is stuck behind a rock as im fleeing from bandits.

Great sandbox western!
This is a great game. It's lots of fun and challenging. The world is huge, immersive and beautiful; I often rode my horse around instead of taking a coach or train just to see the scenery. There is so much to do; shoot outs, hunting (animals, plants, bounties and treasure), fun minigames (poker, blackjack, dice games to name a few), and fun missions. It's a bit glitchy at times (boxes in the middle of the road with no cart, a man leaving the armwrestling table midfight though the minigame continued with my character fighting no one but a ghost I guess), but the glitches never seemed to hinder the gameplay. I guess that's to be expected with such a vast open world. I definitely recommend this game. I don't like western movies, but this is a lot of fun, so don't let a dislike for westerns stop you from getting this. I'm also not a big fan of GTA, but this Rockstar game is great!

Red Dead Redemption may yet be Rockstar's best game yet. It greatly exceeded my expectations since I've already played GTA 4 and loved it. Even if you are not a big fan of the western setting (I know I'm not), this game will appeal to you nonetheless. Characters are great and so are the locals with every detail being spot on. There's a lot to do in this game be it from the various bounty hunting missions, poker, hunting wildlife and riding horses to name a few. If you want to have a multiplayer experience you can just get on Xbox live and from there choose a variety of game types. Overall just an excellent game and is worth every penny.

Rockstar game is rocking!
If you like GTA 4, then there is hardly any reason you would reject Red dead redemption. In fact, the graphic texture in this game looks much impressive than GTA 4. The amount of gameplay is huge, worth of every single penny.I can't wait to see and will definately buy another copy when it makes its way to PC version.

so much more then the cynically labeled "GTA Horse".
Red dead redemption provides a huge and beautiful gaming world that allows you to relive all the best moments from any cowboy movie you care to mention.
Personally i love the side quests which show rockstars typical dark sense of humor.
though for Japanese PS3 owners there is a O / X mixup on certain menus and mini games this is rarely an issue and only makes the arm wrestling mini game unplayable ( which is not a biggy) , the other mini games work fine once you adapt to this issue (pokers a lot of fun).

RDR has a great story that lasts well over 20 hours but the game could keep you playing for a long time after that. From the makers of GTA it's not surprising to find a game that has loads of side missions, collectables, people to meet, mini games and extras plus a very good good online mode.
Ride horses, steal horse and carts, shoot people with a vast array of weapons, play poker, dice, horse shoe and fast finget stabbing mini games, catch trains, capture wanted criminals, hunt and skin many differnent animals. I could go on but this game has a lot to do both in single and online multi player. The graphics are good for a game of its scale and the voice acting second and sound track to none. This game is a triple A title. If you do not own this game then you should stop reading this review and go and buy it.
This game is so great I am finding it hard to find the words to describe how great it really is. It is like every great western movie you ever saw rolled into one spectacular 30-40 hour game. It has train heists, miniguns, horse breaking, fast draw mini games and so on.

well worth buying
Felt a bit glitchy when i first started playing it, especially with controlling the horse, but when you get used to it you start to get addicted. Some of the missions are way too easy but all the other gaming options make up for this and will provide you with weeks of fun.
Finally! something to drag me away from CODMW2!

First off, this is a great game! The superb atmosphere and stunning visuals really create a great feel of the west and an enjoyable world to experience.
Unfortunately this game isn't without it's flaws. Most notably for me, some of the side missions do not work properly, there are some truly tedious side challenges, gun shops are basically meaningless as almost everyone you fight will drop guns and copious amounts of ammo, collecting plants is not a fun activity in an action game, textures occasionally pop in, and at times your horse seems determined not to obey you!
Don't get me wrong, I loved playing this game. There are some truly memorable missions, the voice acting and characters are superb, and there is always plenty of fun to be had. Just a little more thought and testing from Rockstar wouldn't have gone amiss.

Great atmosphere, but you can feel the age of the mechanics
First of all let me state that Red Dead Redemption nails the atmosphere of the old west and the atmosphere carries you through the game and makes the down time (e.g. traveling) much more enjoyable. Similar the challenges allow you to do things while you travel between missions.
My personal favorite is the moral system. In principle the addition of bounties, fame and honor force you to play the game without breaking character. Your character tries to be a good citizen and so do you.
BUT, and that is what those that dislike these systems miss, you can buy a bandana and that allows you to commit any crime without losing honor. That fits MUCH better in the scenario and avoids the disconnect that you play a good guy in the story missions but are a loony outside of them.
Not to forget, there are FINALLY mid mission checkpoints !
That said, one can see the issues during the development.
-The extensive usage of blur combined with severe tearing can hurt your eyes despite the gorgeous graphics.
-If you don't wear the bandana, it is incredibly easy to turn the law against you even if it wasn't your intention.
- The discussions while riding to a mission are incredibly annoying, as they feel tacked on
- The story missions themselves are too repetitive
- The 'sandbox' missions are even more repetitive (there are just 5 or 6 types)
- Whoever thought that collecting flowers is fun, should be forced to do that for the next 3 years. As money is not an issue, really buy the map that allows you to see all flowers on your map for 10 minutes.
- The game in total felt buggier than GTAIV
- Instead of most minigames (who on earth wants to play horseshoe), more sandbox missions would have been great.
Also please be careful if you own a Japanese PS3 and play the American version. The game mistakes the X and O buttons for decisions, causing a lot of havoc (e.g. minigames are nearly unplayable as the button to bet/continue is due to this the same as the button to quit).

It's SO much more than a remake of GTA IV filled with cactus and armadillos. The world is expansive enough to get lost in if you are not careful. The story is epic and the characters very believable. In fact, you can't help but feel like your in a Wild West film while playing this game. It looks that good and is that entertaining. But that's far from it.
The online play is also expansive. Team-up or gang-up with others players online to truly make your own Western legend.

RDR is a pretty good game. The story is interesting and the side missions add a lot of value. I was disappointed by some things, like the crappy hand-to-hand combat controls and how often when you run into an animal or person on the horse, the thing slides across the ground (rather than reacting normally by falling or being crushed). These features were so great (and realistic) in GTA4-5. Why did they change them? Nevertheless, I recommend this game for it's graphics, story and immense playing area. Nothing's perfect and this is a good game.

Another overated game.....
its sub-hd on the PS3...the resolution and jaggies are very noticeable. The main story is the standard "chore running" like GTA. Free roam has nothing to do. Multiplayer is very fun with friends.

Good, but no GTA or Call of Juarez
This game has been getting rave reviews, and certainly deserves some acclaim. However, it does not hold a candle to its sister GTA titles. Problems:
1) Riding horses just isn't as fun as driving. You don't have the speed; you can't do the tricks.
2) The "Dead Eye" bullet time mechanic is clunky and hard to control. For a much better implementation of the same basic idea, look at the Call of Juarez games.
3) Your character dies if he falls in the water.
4) Money is virtually worthless.

Epic game, a lot more user-friendly and the storyline is great. Story is long and interesting, would not bore you even if you play it continuously.
Very addictive, I find it really hard to stop playing it because things keep coming you like a bounty here then someone challenges you to a duel or whatnot.
Awesome graphics as well...can clearly see everything and every detail of basically everything.

Easily a 5 Star Game
Is that a Game of the Year contender I smell? Well, it could just be what I dragged into the house on my shoe but I still believe RDR has an excellent chance of being Game of the Year.
This is one of those games where you find it difficult to go back and play other games as the quality of the animations, graphics, sound and story just can't compare.

Spaghetti Western
With all the atmosphere of a Leone classic, RDR is one of the most immersive games I've played in a long time.
The amazing scenery, weather effects, sound effects and soundtrack allow you to completely lose yourself in the world of RDR.
The game play is top notch, with Dead-eye being a fun and useful tool in gunfights.
My only (Small) gripes are that money seems to be pretty useless and some of the side missions (Namely hunting) can be a bit of a grind.

I actually had a played 20+ hours before I had actually finished the tutorial. I explanation of Deadeye, which I had been using the whole time, made me realize I maybe should actually play the story.
If you like sandbox games you will like all the things you can do in this game. The gunfights are really the highlight.

I was worried it was going to look like GTA IV, but it doesn't. It looks heads and shoulders better.
While presently the online functions seem a little lacking, the upcoming free co-op DLC for the game should help bolster the online component of the game.

I'm a big fan of RDR, never in my life play a GTA game, this game is perfect. Ypu play at day, at night and you can't do all. Some mission requires to doy at day and others at night, you can de time playing poker, black jack, games with knife, and many other opcion like cath criminals, helping people, hunting animals, or simply look the stars in the sky.

Red Dead Redemption is an awesome replication of the wild wild west. The open world is amazing. The story so is great.
You can play poker and even try to cheat the other players - just don't get caught.
You can play horse shoes. Roam the open world, establish law and order, or be the outlaw. Whatever your choice there will be an equal reaction.
Want to keep the law? Then outlaws will test you....
Want to be the outlaw? Then the laws gonna be after your hide...

Epic game!
The game has some real good story line, which is expected from Rockstar. Still, even when not evolving in the story there is plenty to do in the RDR world, like getting some nice random tasks, or hunting, or spending time in saloons, or just free roaming and enjoying the beautiful panoramas.
In a way it exceeds GTA IV, especially if you love westerns.

Quite simply this is one of Rockstars finest achievements. This game is immersive and addictive and I havenot been able to put the controller down. The open world gameplay and setting is fantastic. One of the best games of 2010 and highly recommended.

Better than GTA IV
The game is gorgeous, controls well, and is very immersive. It feels like being in a Western. There is a lot to do aside from story missions, unlike GTA IV. Hunting, tracking criminals, hunting bounties, breaking horses, helping strangers. It's all a blast.

RDR has everything you would expect from a R* game, but without any of the petty annoyances that dogged gameplay in GTA4. They have refined their engine and game machanics, and given you a world which is alive, dynamic, vast and beautiful.

Wild Wild West Meets GTA
I am really enjoying RDR. It plays just like Grand Theft Auto but with a lot of little mini games and other events happening around you. People can steal your horse but if you have treated it well a quick whistle will have it return with the thief. Plenty of hours of play time. Perfect.

Finally, a "mature" game for gamers that gets that name not for the amount of blood spilled or grotesque death animations, but because it has a truly adult storyline with mature and thought provoking themes. Coupled with that is the great character of John Marsten and a truly fantastic open world. Don't hesitate on this game.

Broken on Asian Consoles
The PS3 version has serious issues on Asian PS3 consoles and needs urgent patching. The O and X buttons are sometimes swapped but the screen still shows the incorrect buttons e.g. it says press X to start but you have to press O. This is annoying while shopping e.g. buying something by mistake but it also makes some mini games unplayable (e.g. arm wrestling) as only the X button works and X means quit!

I'm not a FPS fan but.... I am now!
Wow. This game has changed my views of FPS games. I've not played an FPS that i have liked in years and this game really holds in own in the single player story mode.
If you jump online you'll love every minute of the "old west" i've spent countless hours online with my mates aka posse.
The price also is awesome, $59 from play-asia or $110 AUD from the local store here in Australia.. do the math :)

Great game, but....
.....the multiplayer would have been soooo much better if the single player elements like the inventory system, shops and side-games had translated into the multiplayer as well. The multiplayer feels like they took the single player game and then ripped the soul out of it.

AMAZING MULTIPLAYER!
The SINGLE PLAYER IS AMAZING! it is GTA times a million, it is really good. However, it also has a multiplayer feature, where you can free roam, with other peaople including friends. GET THIS GAME IF YOU ARE COOL!

Best game of the year!
It's similar gta but without the monotony. Their controls compared to gta have been much more refined and very playable. Beautiful art direction. Awesome organic gameplay! Should not be missed if you're a fan of action adventure.

GTA and much better
Well, at first time, i liked this game. When i was playing more often, i love it. Got the essence of GTA and more things to innovate this game. I recommend a lot to buy this little digital fella!
