Really fun game
This game is very cool. The graphics are very nice and the tokyo environment is a good change out of the regular american scenario. The story is a little weak but the battles are really fun and satisfying.

A great game for the Ninja Action game fans, the graphics are impressive (not as smooth as NGII though) and music suits the game well.
The controls work and don't feel touchy or laggy.
The only thing that I'm not a fan of....Timed button events!
But when the game is as good as this, I don't mind too much plus it's usually done to show off special moves etc...

Great Game
Any game with ninjas is normally good and this one is no exception. Great cut scenes, great inter cutting of QTE's make this game a blast to play.

Some hours of fun. On rails action is a lttle boring, but the QTE are espectacular. The main character has not a good design, but the game is a good choice.

Modern Ninja Action !!!
This game is really amazing, action - slashing the enemies or QTE are really fun to play. You need a good reflex to play this "QTE" game, as always : slashing the enemies is very fun as ever.

Awesome Ninjas
Love the way the game plays and the different things that are possible. Managed to get a hold of the game while it was on special which made it that much better of a deal. Great buy!!

Pretty fun game, though as others have said. Don't take it seriously. It's unfortunate, though does come off as a light and funny take on the genre, even though it doesn't exactly aim for that.
However, with crisp graphics, laughable story and cut-scenes, actually fun gameplay, and the overwhelming use of QTE's, while a good game, get it on the cheap. Recommended.

Ninja-Style Action!
If you are a fan of ninja-style fighting games, this is a good candidate for your collection. Nicely animated fights for fast-paced action. Game difficulty is easier than say a Ninja Gaiden game.

Don't take it seriously
The game is all about action and fun. If you go in comparing to Ninja Gaiden you are missing the point. I mean you can dress up like a clown with pink hearts. The game isn't taking itself seriously so neither should you. It is awesome fun for as long as it lasts.

Buy it when PA has it discounted.
Not a game you'd pay full price for, but at PA's recent discounted price, this was well worth the money for a couple of evenings' silly mindless fun. The QTEs are a bit too frequent, but again at the discounted price they were easily forgiven. A good game to pass the controller around for with your mates on the couch. Don't take it seriously, and it'll be a fun time.

A game which is quite good and has a fantastic price, I like it because it is similar to Ninja Gaiden, but it's easier to play. The graphics are not as good as NG, but neither are wrong. The gameplay is good too.

Incredible price, P-A! It's literally 1/4 what it would have cost to buy locally. Fun stuff, it's basically like a Mega CD game but... with polygons and stuff. Completely over-the-top for lol.

Undemanding - what Ninja Gaiden should have been
if you have played Ninja Gaiden 2, then you'll know what to expect, but this is nowhere near as tough. Amazing graphics and combat system, hacking and slashing, and with the dreaded QTE system in place actually working well, comes heartily recommended.
Boss battles are satisfying when you beat them, just a shame the story lacks any depth to it.

Fans of action titles such as Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and all other similar titles should definitely check this out. For this price, it's essentially a must-buy. Quite fun, though at times hilariously bad (extremely cheesy voice acting/dialogue), it's worth checking out. Do consider it!

Sometimes Good Sometimes Boring
I havent played this game much after beating it the first time. The repetitive backgrounds and mission layouts become noticeable very quickly. But the first play experience is solid.

Popcorn Ninja Action Game
If you ever wanted a quick and breezy ninja action game that doesn't demand too much skill from the player, yet still get to see some badass action... this game is it.
To compare this game to one of the better action games like Ninja Gaiden would be unfair as the game clearly wants to show the 'cool' factor with ease.
Game is very competent in it's presentation greatly portraying the action and cinematic look & feel.
If you wanted to take a break from games with a high difficulty spike like Ninja Gaiden, this game will make you feel like you are watching a popcorn summer action movies... go in easy and just have fun until it ends!

Tokyo has been overrun by alien parasitic worms that turn their hosts into hideous creatures. You're Tokyo's last hope, embarking on a 9 hour quest that plays a lot like the God Of War titles, except, you're a NINJA! Combat is straightforward and without much depth, the gameplay focus being on hugely cinematic setpieces driven by QTEs (quick time events). The sequences are never boring or frustrating and some of them are truly epic. If you enjoy hack-and-slash titles and are not put of by QTEs then this is the game for you.

nice game
i couldn't wait to get my ninja blade game , i saw so many trailers about it , and honestly it was a bit less than i expected , preforming the combos is not that easy and a bit confusing...the rest is very good , nice graphics , not bad story , lots of action. enjoy it ;)

this game looks awesome and even plays awesome, until you realize your freedom to actually do stuff is about 90% limited by QTE's. Literally no kidding this game is mostly quicktime events. Now if you love QTE's then maybe, possibly you will like this game, but since they are nigh impossible to get and completely random I highly doubt even lovers of quicktime will enjoy this experience. However, let's just say you do like the quicktime events, then you surely won't love the fact that there is no save system, other than once you've finished a mission...yes i said there is no save system...the game kindly tells you that there is an autosave feature, however, what it doesn't tell you is that it only saves the game at the end of each mission and they are full length missions. So in the event you want to go out to eat or have just had enough for the night make sure you finish the mission or you'll find yourself replaying completely lame qte's over and over.

really nice, if you like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and God of War, you must play this.
What is annoying about this game is the saving. you can only save between missions, also it has too much martial arts ficiton.
