In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the 'B' company fight their way through snowy mountaintops, dence jungles and dusty villages. With a heavy arsenal of deadly weapons and a slew of vehicles to aid them, the crew set off on their mission and they are ready to blow up, shoot down, blast through, wipe out and utterly destroy anything that gets in their way. Total destruction is the name of the game, delivered as only the DICE next generation Frostbite engine can. Either online or offline, enemies will soon learn there is nowhere to hide.

MUST OWN fps game
One of the best online multiplayer games of all time. Less little kids playing this game online. It rewards and requires team work. No cheap deaths like some FPS games. If you are getting owned by a sniper, or a tank, etc. Then you can change class and tactics to adapt. So much more than: spawn, run, kill, die which COD has perfected. You can and HAVE to play multiple different ways in this game. Run and gun, sniping, stealth, far, med close combat, squad support, etc etc. And this is one of the last good single player campaigns from any of the block buster FPS games.

Simply Awesome...
I thought FPS ran out of of ideas...but I see now why a lot of people recommended me this game. It's truly a wonderfully crafted FPS. Great sound effects, great graphics, see everything in destruction is just pure eye-candy all the way...

Very good game
I like the action in this game and the destructive effects. It is satisfying to shoot an LPG cannister and set off a chain reaction of explosions that clears out a large number of enemies. The story is good and I didn't feel that the game was too short (though longer is always better). The dialogue is good (though a bit cliched - the older 'sarge' who is supposed to be retiring but can't because of the mission, etc) and often funny.
I only give this game four stars because there are too many cut scenes. Sometimes the player is only required to walk a short distance between cut scenes. No action at all.

battlefiel bad company 2
the battlefield series is the best FPS game series on the market. It requires team work and immerses the player into what feels like a real armed conflict. It is more than just a first person shooter. It is all out war, with the player able to pilot helicopters, drive tanks and blow away buildings and much more. I love this game and can play for hours on end. A must have for anyone interesting in FPS games.

Nice game to tide over till BF3...
This is a very immersible miltary shooter. I feel the intensity everytime I play online.
When I fire from inside a building, I can hear the echo of the shot through the room, and the echo from the shell casings hitting the ground. Footsteps also play a big part to me, when someone (an enemy) is sprinting near you, the footsteps give them away.
The entire environment is destructible. Buildings, trees, bridges, even grenades and mortar strikes make craters in the ground.
All in all, this game will definitely get you hooked till the next big release from DICE, namely, Battlefield 3.

Good FPS
This is a good game, although I may not be the best person to talk about it, since I'm not really a fan of FPSs.
Single-mode is really interesting and has a great story mode, multiplayer is fun and has a great replay value. Graphics and sounds are pretty and crisp and overal gameplay is good.
I did not like default control settings, but it can be changed though. Subtitles are too small, even on a large screen, it could be larger without compromising the gorgeous cutscenes. Talking about them, there are too many of them, but, at least, they are well made and you'll mostly enjoy them.
Sometimes, you may be unsure of what you should be really doing, but it is generally easy to figure it out, maybe it's complicated just for newbies like myself.
If you're into Call of Duty, this is not the game for you, you'll feel awkward playing it. Go back to Black Ops, unless you are an open-minded gamer.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is probably the best warfare game you will play... until Battlefield 3 comes out!
An entirely different take on warfare compared to the 'arcade' CoD series. It really does depend what you want as a player.
If you seek a simple game with a military feel then Black Ops and its ilk is for you. However, if you want a realistic war experience filled with exploding walls, glass crunching under boots, bullets pounding, and blood pumping then Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is for you!
Levelling up is slow and meaningful. Squad play is a necessity... John Rambo need not apply!
My only complaint with the game are the sometimes unstable servers that drop everyone from the game. However, since lag is barely an issue it is a small price to pay.

Simialar to COD Modern Warfare
There are many similarities to COD, but a lot of improvements. One large improvement is that team work is really encouraged. It feel a lot more substantial knowing you and your squad/team benefit a lot more in every way from working together. Multi-person vehicles are an easy way to see how team work can change the outcome and personal score. Great game

A worthy sequel
Bad Company 2 improves on its predecessor with better graphics, a more cohesive single player experience and some wonderfully destructive environments. Multiplayer is as accomplished as before making this a worthy sequel and a worthwhile purchase.

Unique experience
The multiplayer experience of BFBC2 is simply amazing; you can be in a battlefield for 30 minutes or more without be killed, something impossible in the call of duty franchising. That's because the maps are langer, making you feel what war really is, not just "die rebirth, die-rebirth" in COD.

Amazing game, great action, lots of weapons and gadgets, lacks one thing....EA servers cannot keep up with the flow of users. had way too much troble connecting at specific hrs... other then that lots of FUN FUN FUN.

Good price for better game ! Battlefield Bad Company 2 is by all intents and purposes a fantastic follow-up to the original game. The game looks great but the graphics do suffer slightly from the 720p resolution on larger screens. The online multiplayer is awesome!!!

Great game
Compared to the first opus, BFBC2 is to the standards of the latest Call of Duty series, gameplay and graphics have been largely bettered and up to now i've played only 1/4 of the first mission but i'm lost a bit as i dont have any map on my gameplay screen
Compared to the first opus, BFBC2 is to the standards of the latest Call of Duty series, gameplay and graphics have been largely bettered and up to now i've played only 1/4 of the first mission but i'm lost a bit as i dont have any map on my gameplay screen

BC2 has a perfect multiplayer, with weapons, vehicles, experience system , large maps.
Recon, medic, engineer, assaulter, each one has a very specific way to play and provide a different experience.

The things that stood out the most to me are 1) you can blow almost everything up! 2) in the single player campaign, just stand there and listen to your teammates talk; it's hilarious!

Bad Company was a great game with a few minor flaws. All of those have been fixed and the longer single player game makes it worth the purchase.
Lots of guns to choose from and plenty of challenges throughout the game.
Multiplayer has also been improved and while I don't like it as much as Modern Warfare it still is up there with challenges and playablity.
The graphics at times seem ugly but then at times they look very impressive. Overall a great game.

Great Online Game with OK Solo Play
The single player game has been hugely improved from the last Bad Company but it's no modern warfare. Surely no one bought this game for the solo play. The online multiplayer is where the game truely shines. The maps seem bigger the weapons sound more beastly and the vehicles are more varried. The game looks great but the graphics do suffer slightly from the 720p resolution on larger screens.
The buildings, walls and vehicles are all destructable. Even more so than in the original bad company with enough pounding buildings can now be completely leveled, killing all the occupants and rooftop snipers. Quad bikes/ATVs make there first and very welcome appearance. Allowing quick entrance into the battle areas with a man on the back shooting, the driver cannot shoot though which is a minor gripe. The HDR sound is unbeleivable at times and really adds depth to the game. All in all the game is excellent online and OK offline. If you want a single player game the score should perhaps be taken down 1 or 2 but for online multiplayer war this game is hard to beat at times.

Forget MW2, THIS is the game that every FPS fan should have. Its single player is short, but utterly amazing, but the real meat lies in the MP. No game this gen has offered such a vast MP and the unlocks and modes are just amazing. This leaves MW2 in the dust.

If you have been playing MW2 and a bit tired of the "arcadish" run and gun, die and respawn immediately gameplay. Then this is for you. BC2 focuses on multiplayer teamwork. Needing you to play that certain role in your squad, being medic, recon, engineer or assaulter.
Using the vehicles, tanks, helicopters, quads, patrol boats all make or break your campaign.
Graphics and sound are simply amazing, a bit like Saving private Ryan! The destructible environment will easily blow up any enemy campers inside buildings. Pure satisfaction.

The first Bad Company had me in the multiplayer but lacked a little single player. This one comes back with both single and multi player incredible. The campaign is about 8 hours long (normal mode) and the missions are extremily varied and original. Beautiful views and lots of explosions. The multi player does not need more praise because everybody knows it is amazing in everyway. By far the most compeling multiplayer in consoles nowadays.

Not so perfect...
I guess the everyone knows the best aspects of the game by now, so i'm gonna tell about the things that cause me a lot of frustration:
- Bad graphics (mostly multiplayer)
- I experienced lag many times (the kind you go backwards when you walk)
- Its almost impossible to play alone, you need a squad to support you (for me its a - point, because sometimes i just wanna enter the game and do some frags alone)

This game is great for multiplayer, got me hooked on to it for hours at a time. I kept thinking to myself, just one more round.

Anyone who likes COD will love this game. It's a lot more chaotic and more versatile as a standalone, and the multiplayer is a lot more tactical and dynamic. One man rushes into a group of enemies are impossible, and depending on others on your team is necessary. Destructible walls and buildings both allow for sniper roosts and new vantage points to be made on the fly, and also hinder the ability for campers to rack up points by hiding in the attic of a building. Vehicle use is simple, and rewarding, and the weapons and gadget upgrades keep you coming back for more. An amazing game and well worth the time.

Looking at the story mode first I was disappointed that it finished so soon and that the game gave me a feeling I was always only killing the three same bad guys who turn up everywhere...But, there is something about the characters, dialogues, sound in general and the visuals that keep you wanting more, this game is a lot of fun, I think those that have been jaded by the MW2 bug will find it a hard transition as I did. However this game really shines as an online multi-play, there is a lot of space in the maps and I imagine if you can get talking to your other squad members it would be much more rewarding...

I enjoyed BF:BC2 more than MW2 because I'm not so good at the twitchy-type games but love squad based tactical stuff. BC2 isn't super tactical but more than MW2. It's a nice balance of MW2 and Ghost Recon.
Multiplayer might be suffering from spawn camping and a good helo pilot is almost invincible, especially against an unorganized squad, but I always have fun playing, especially if you can find a group of like minded people to play with.
I hope they keep it fresh with regular new maps.

Only mutlyplayer game you need right now
This game is off the hook. I beat the single player two times back to back it was so much fun. I less time, I have already put more hours into the multiplayer than in COD Modern Warfare 2. I think COD looks a little better, but Bad company has its moments that are breathtaking. The character models don't look as good, but EVERYTHING else does. The sound is off the hook. This game is so incredibly immersible. For example I am on the 2nd floor of a building looking out of a window, I can hear ambient sounds all around me. I am on edge as it is, I see somebody, get ready to aim. All of sudden I hear, feel, and see explosions all around me. A sniper called in a motor strike. I begin to run for my life out of the building. I turn and get shot in the face with a shot gun. Here is Modern Warfare 2: Spawn. die, spawn. die. spawn run, kill, die. spawn die. spawn, camp. kill, kill, die. Its funny like french fries. Quick and easy, but I want substance. I want a steak dinner with my french fries and that is Battle Field. I don't ever feel like I the game is cheap. If someone camps, blow up the building. Too many tanks killing you, pick up a rocket launcher and blow the tanks up.

I am on edge as it is, I see somebody, get ready to aim. All of sudden I hear, feel, and see explosions all around me. A sniper called in a motor strike. I begin to run for my life out of the building. I turn and get shot in the face with a shot gun. Here is Modern Warfare 2: Spawn. die, spawn. die. spawn run, kill, die. spawn die. spawn, camp. kill, kill, die. Its funny like french fries. Quick and easy, but I want substance. I want a steak dinner with my french fries and that is Battle Field. I don't ever feel like I the game is cheap. If someone camps, blow up the building. Too many tanks killing you, pick up a rocket launcher and blow the tanks up.

The best i have played to date.
This game is certainly got everything i want in a shooting game.Online you can be the soldier you want to be.If you want to be infantry,you can.If you are not so good at that, you can save your comrades by reviving them as a medic.If your not very good at close up fighting.Then maybe being an engineer is for you.Jumping into Tanks,and helicopters and shooting from a distance,is definitely a change or pace and more to your liking.Mining the area and using anti tank weapons. we can help our team by repairing vehicles and still gain points.This is a great way to encourage team work. Maybe,recon is more your style.Hiding in the background, picking off soldiers who are hiding or standing still with a sniper rifle.If you want you can even call in the mortars to take the whole building out.Great to watch and hear.
The graphics are nice and the choice of weapons are great and plentiful. Either American or Russian heavy equipment is available,from Tanks, Apache gun ship,Russian gunships to QUAD bikes. You name it,it seems to be there. The battles are way better than modern warfare and I actually enjoy the pace of the game much more. Why would i recommend this game.Well it flows better, with a sense of a front line. The sounds are better and it plays better than Modern Warfare.I don't die as much as Modern Warfare were the experts kill you every few seconds. Team work is way better in this game,even if you don't have any mates to play with.Just ask to join a team,and you will find people who actually help you.
In single player mode the characters are really entertaining and actually have a nice touch of humor which is entertaining.This is the first time i have ever played any of the battlefield games and i was totally taken by the game. I would actually give this a must buy rating and i will be ordering others from the battlefield series.

Great Team Based MP
BF:BC2 is a great team based Multiplayer game that rewards teamwork as opposed to just getting a high K:D ratio like some other online MP FPS's. The terrain is varying and great so far and the SE is definitely worth it as you get a VIP code so you can get free DLC in the future (there have been 2 map packs to date). The reason I dropped it a star is I think the starting weapons are a bit underpowered so the first few hours of online MP are pretty frustrating until you get armor upgrades and stronger weapons.

One of the BEST MultiPlayer games Iv ever played!
The multiplayer fells like a REAL Battle, not like MW2 that pretty boring after few rounds...
The modes are so creative and fun!

The single player campaign is kind of eh, and so I had to drop a star.
But really, the multiplayer is absolutely, stunningly fantastic. It's a dense chunk of endlessly changing strategic team-based action. If you're a fan of objective-based shooter combat then you won't go wrong here. It's the first time something this deep has hit the console.
Oh yeah, the game deserves mad props for the sound design too. This is a war that's gotta be heard.

This is by far the best MP Game whitch you can buy today. Overall it's one oft the best PS3 games. The sound, the controlls, the feeling, everything is just great. Only the Graphics are a little bit dissapointing, mostly because it looks so much better on the PC. But as i said, from my point of view, BF Bad Company 2 is one of the best PS3 games by now.

While the SP campaign is nothing to write home about, BC2 simply offers the best MP experience on the PS3.
Still a few glitches here and there and a few issues that could use an update, but DICE can be trusted for its support on this game.

If you loved BC1 or 1943, you'll love this too
love the BF series. This is no exception. It's not for everyone. Some people just like Halo or COD better. I like them all. In my opinion, this game requires a lot more skill and total teamwork. No noobs or lone wolves allowed in here. Nice graphics and sound. Animation is a little choppy and not as clean as Halo or COD. Single player is a ok and not that great. It's multiplayer that shines.

Battlefield Bad Company was almost a perfect reboot of a battlefield game on the console. Light hearted single player introduced you to band of knockleheads powering through the battlefield for the most simplest of reasons... and multiplayer delivered big scale maps with variety of ways to play.
Bad Company 2 does just about refines everything from the first and also brings in some key gameplay attributes found from some other popular games (as well as it's PC Battlefield counterparts).
Single player still retains the humor and silliness, but the action scale's been bumped up quite significantly to bring more hectic paced campaign that'll last you around 6~7 hours.
After this you get much.. much more refined multiplayer with interesting rewards, classes, and maps for you to lose endless hours into.
Also you'd be glad to find out that as the DLCs are from in-game stores, I didn't have any problem using Asia version order codes.
Great game that'll last you great number of hours especially on PS3 as the online is also free!

There is rarely a break in the action, and the graphics and sound contribute to a really amazing single player experience. The multiplayer mode is robust and offers a lot more strategy/teamwork compared to other warfare shooters out there. There's plenty to collect, and the destructible environments are wicked for keeping the playing field dynamic. Overall, a great game for any FPS fan.

This is a great game, not perfect but still well worth the effort.
Positives: The game looks phenomenal! Excellent Battlefield gameplay both online and offline. The maps are huge and make you feel like you're in a warzone where instant death can come at any second. The kit customization is engrossing and can easily be tailored to how you want to play the game online. The single player game's story is much more structured and sucks you in along with some nice pitched battles and set-pieces.
Negatives: Due to the more structured nature of the single player, the game is much more linear. The characters also seem to have much less humor than the first Bad Company and there's not as much emphasis on destruction.
All in all, a fantastic game that's well worth the purchase. Mutliplayer will keep you busy for a while. ;)
