Awesome Huge improvements over Morrowind. Load times and freezing have been cut back. The graphics are much better and all the characters have audible voices. The journal is easy to keep track of and the map makes it easy to travel and find quest objectives. I can remember in Morrowing goign through my journal to find information about a quest I may not have completed for a very long time. I also got lost a lot or didn;t know what to do in Morrowing. Oblivion makes it much easier. Magic is alos more useful, actually almost a necessity in this game. Oblivion does make it harder to level up then Morrowind and adds a level curve to monsters so they become harder. Oblivion doesn't have as many factions and its main story isn't as interesting as Morrowinds, but its probably one of the best RPGs to get on the XBOX 360.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Shiver me timbers! Has the world gone mad lately? Why, yes! Yes, it has. Welcome to the Shivering Isles, the latest expansion of last year's title, Oblivion. Inside lie the realms of Dementia and Mania, granting players a madeness-tinged title filled with funny quips and quirks. Like Oblivion's previous expansion, the Knights Of The Nine, Shivering Isles is all about meaningful choices. You have dozen of quests, including strange ones such as helping a person commit suicide, or driving trapped adventurers mad in order to save your own life. Deciding how to complete the dozens of quests give drastically different (but equally powerful) rewards - from new armour to weapons to titles for players.
Players starting new characters will be pleased to know that the Shivering Isles scale the monsters and treasure levels to their character levels much better than other parts of the game's world. By gathering various new ores and other alchemy items found in the psychedelic wilds of the Shivering Isles, players can craft new armour and weapons which come ready with enchantments. These also progressively level up as players forge them anew, higher up the game ladder. Currently, there is a bug which will cause the entire game to lock up after a certain amount of time, whether or not players have visited the expansion's islands. On high-end computers, this may be as early as two hours after installation of the expansion.
A patch is in the works, but until that is announced on both the 360's Marketplace news section and online, it may be wiser to hold off buying this game. With the fix, though, quirky quests and funny content makes it an excellent expansion for those tired of the serious and realistic setting of Oblivion where they can visit for some of the most memorable characters in the game yet.
Excellent Service And a great game. Played this game through in German but wanted to play the English version as well. Thanks to this site I could pick up a copy at a nice price, and it was worth it.
The English version of this game is MUCH better than the German version. I like the sound of German in medieval style games but unfortunately the sound in the German version can be very choppy at times. Thankfully this English version is perfect.
Unbelieveble This game is the best RPG i played for sometime now. Have been playing it for about 10hours already since i got it yesterday.Its a great fantasy world. Plus thank you play-asia for supplying this game.

I agree with you about exiting the sewers my friend! The sun was setting on the water for me, I swear I just walked up and down roads, first east, then west, then up to Bruma...it was rather entertaining walking up the road, a complete noobie but enjoying the game, and spanking two bandits without even knowing the controls (my first character is god, no doubt about it). The difficulty is perfect at the middle setting, and levelling enemies are a brilliat idea...the best FPS
(first person swordfighter) ever, the best rpg I've played, and the most astounding. You will have HOURS of fun on this, that's if you ever stop playing!

Great RPG, but buggy Like everyone else has said this game is a great RPG experience and worth a play, but there are a lot of areas I am unhappy with in the game, especially on the technical side. For starters, this game will pump your 360 for all it is worth, loading can take a long time, framerates can become horrendous and really jerky which ruins the experience, sound can become choppy or disappear completely, and this game WILL crash or freeze your 360 every 4 hours or so.
The system of the world levelling up with you is also a shocking idea in my opinion. No matter how powerful and mighty a hero you become, the average homeless guy armed with a shovel can beat you senseless. You can go through hell to get a cool magic bow and arrow set only to discover every man and his dog back in town are now armed with silenced gold-plated diamond-encrusted AK-47s and will use them at the drop of a hat.
The quests are for the most part pretty good. There are some boring "fetch the stick Rover" type quests but there are some more complicated and thought out ones too to spice things up. Some of the quests can be quite complex, especially finding a cure for Vampirism provides hours of frustration searching everywhere for a bunch of herbs and gadgets. No wonder the PC version had a potion download patch to cure Vampirism. Too much hassle to do it properly.
All that said, its a great game and I've spent many hours exploring it. Recommended, but it isnt perfect like many would lead you to believe.
Oblivion No words needed. Everyone already know about it and every PC gamer MUST have this game. This is best rpg now , like Fallout2 , Morrowind, Fable before.

See the reason for those questions is simple. This game is amzing. Like drop deap fall over backwards. haha I've only logged 2/3 hours of play time and it wasnt serious stuff. But it was gorgeous!! BUY IT!!!
No title this is a great title indeed, and great for those of us living in an Asian country other than Japan (mainland China in my case). It works perfectly on my Hong Kong 360 - English and all. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!

Oblivion is truly the end of a social life This is a killer app for the xbox 360, no doubt. In fact its easy to say its a killer app for gaming in general. Oboivion's vast environment and open-ended gameplay is truly marvelous and downright fun. Be prepared to clear your calendar for a long time because a new addiction has arisen in the form of the Elder Scrolls IV.
