Prey tells the story of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck on a reservation going nowhere. Along with his people, he is abducted to a menacing mothership orbiting Earth, where he sets out to save himself, his girlfriend, and eventually his planet.
Underappreciated Prey is a game that cops a lot of flak for being too "easy" to be a decent FPS. OK, so technically it is impossible to ever truly die in this game, but it is a fun and challenging game in it's own right. Rather than endless hordes of enemies to fight through like many other FPS', Prey presents an equal balance of combat and puzzles. You might find yourself stuck in a room for 30 minutes figuring out how to open the door, only to discover the next room is loaded with nasty critters, who are guarding another puzzle!
The only area the game really fails is the multiplayer, it's very clumsy and not well thought out, not that it matters, since given the age of the game now there's hardly ever anyone online playing it anyway!
Prey Xbox 360 A satisfying FPS, running up walls and portals sounded like a gimmick, but they're implemented solidly and add to the gameplay. It can become very disorientating, personally this is partly why I really like the game, but it may be to weird for some.
For this price, give it a go.

Tommy, is your average would be guy, he doesnt want to be a hero nor does he want to be Earths Savior, one night, at his grandfathers bar, along with his girlfriend, a series of events, happened, which led to Tommy, his father, and his girlfriend being abducted by Aliens, and thus the adventure begins.
with an Alien mothership in orbit, abducting a killing humans alike to provide food for mother, Tommy must fight to save his loved ones, and to put an end to the Alien threat looming above the earths atmosphere
Prey, as a game is excellent, the graphics are nice, the controls are nice, and this game is unique because, it has a gravity system that when used, can alter gravity as we know it, for one, could you imagine yourself on an alien mothership, alone with only your weapon at your side, hitting a switch that makes the gravity go sideways? heck the game becomes a whole new playing field as dimensions previously unattainable become attainable, what FPS offers the chance to fight aliens that are what seems like it to you UPSIDE DOWN walking on the ceiling? what game allows you to use portals to navagate levels, well look no further
the game itself will be around 6-8 hours for the average gamer, you will get on average 500-600 achievement points easy for clearing the main game, a few hundred points are earned for taking the game online and doing the achievements, like say killing someone with a rachett 20 times, or a machine gun 20 times, you name it, Multiplayer is also fun, and a good way to speand your afternoon
Just to let people know, Prey as a game isnt over, of course i cant reveal the plotline whilst your on the alien mothership like dyson sphere, but, it ends on a to be continued note, and you"l understand why when you play the game and see these different plot elements that occur
this is, a fairly fun, title, it may not be for everyone but for FPS fans, heres the game you wanna play, and at its current $25 price, who could pass up a game like this?
