Beautiful, graceful, brutal, and deadly.
Rubi is a problem fixer. She fixes problems. She's good at it. But when she agrees to fix a wealthy man's problem by finding and bringing back his wayward son, she thinks it's all going to be cut and dry. She thought wrong. The job wasn't so simple. And the man who hired her isn't who he appears to be. Now Rubi's on the run, needing to find the man who left her for dead, leaving a massive body count in her wake.
Double-crosses. Enemies. Allies. Guns. Swords. Drugs. Old books. In an adventure that spans three continents, two warring factions, and one very pissed off problem fixer, WET will keep the adrenaline pumping from start to finish. Rubi is focused. Rubi is determined. Rubi is a problem fixer. Rubi is WET.
Ruby rules If you like movies like Reservoir Dogs , Pulp Fiction, you going to love this game. It's not a FPS game, as most of the time you need do acrobatics to stay alive and kill enemies:). The story its great, and the music in the game its exactly made to make your blood boil :D.
Not something I would shout about.. Wet is a interesting game, however the story is practically non exsistant so its hard to build a connection to Ruby the main character. The graphics are pretty good and the sound is also nice. If you love action games then youll really enjoy wet, but in the end it wasnt really my style of game.
Not for everyone If you're a fan of grindhouse or the films of John Woo, then chances are you'll like this game. The story is fairly simple and the gameplay can be a bit monotonous for those who play a lot. But for a casual gamer like me, I get a total thrill having Rubi leap through the air, swing around poles, slide on the ground, pumping bullets into enemies or slicing them in half with her sword.
The graphics aren't as good as other games but the fun factor will have you occupied. One major downside is that the game is pretty short. I beat the whole game in maybe two nights. After you finish the game, however, you can go back through and replay through some of your favorite areas.
However, my biggest complaint are the quicktime events. I hate quicktime events, where you have to press a button at a certain moment. The final level is nothing but a quicktime event, which was very disappointing.

Fanstastic Game! I love the character, aesthetics and attitude of this game! Paying homage to the grindhouse period of film history, WET perfectly captures the bloods, gore and cheesy one-liners that epitomized that era of movies. The pacing suffers at part, but for most of the time, the game is incredibly fun. Shooting two people simultaneously while doing a cartwheel in the air never seems to get old for me. All in all, WET is a game I would highly recommend.
Stay away!!!! oh my god! this is so bad. i love bethesda, but i dont know what they were thinking here.
after the first chapter they force you to do these god awful, boring challenges. that have no point to them. just boring and suicide thought inducing game play. wish i never got this. my life here and in the next is now lost in oblivion. (not so much of a review but a rant of my hatred for this game)
