Great Game The C&C Red Alert series has always been famous for its real-life acting cut-scenes, and this sequel is no different. Great fun for strategy game lovers!

Good, but consider the PC version instead Better than C&C3, and the controls are pretty intuitive. Still, I can't imagine it being easier than on a PC. If possible, get the PC version instead.

Avoid if you don't like using the game pad... A definitive RTS game but switching from mouse to game pad takes some getting used to. Love the campy cut scenes featuring some babelicious busty chicks heh heh...
Good ps3 version I was a little bit worried on how would be red alert's gameplay on ps3. It is a LOT more difficult to be efficient than with a mouse and a keyboard but it is still ok, after few hours, it comes more or less naturally and the game is very fun. Little bit easy...
Great game First I thought it was a little bit different than Red Alert 2 and not that good, but when I finally got it I was amazed, the game is cool, I know that is not like playing on PC but it still rock on 360. Gotta wait for Command & Conquer 4 Tiberium Twilight. If you are a fan of C&C games like me you should play this one too, I played every C&C and this one is good too. Enjoy the game guys!

Average game I am a MASSIVE C&C fan was a bit skeptical about buying this game on a console at first but when i did i was mot disappointed at all great game with awesome game play, some minor bad points I must admit like the simplicity of accidentally repacking the MCV in the middle of a fight when you need to build some building.
Best Strategy Game On PS3 Hands Down I had doubts buying a strategy game on a console, but decided what the hell see how it goes. I made the right decision, the graphics are crisp, cutscenes top-notch, controls very easy to adapt to and the game is full of action. Play on Hard for the ultimate and challenging experience, the AI will have you at the edge of your seat!

The best!!! Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a great game for those who like to create and manage armies in pursuit of world domination. advise everyone.

Very high production values The whole presentation is very impressive, with cutscenes featuring top Hollywood actors, and the art style of the graphics is also quite good. The gameplay is somewhat difficult to grasp and has a steep learning curve. After playing a few missions and going back, I need to revisit the tutorials to grasp the finer control points.
Great game for a great price!! If you are into RTS, for this kind of price, it would be silly if you dont buy this.
This game is better than what I expected mainly because I thought that RTS will not work on console. But this game proves me wrong!!

Good game for the price. I never actually played any RTS games on the Xbox 360 before, so I thought that I'd pick this up considering the cheap price. I wasn't disappointed with the game and it was actually quite a bit of fun. :)

Nice game! Though it's hard to control compare to PC version, I still enjoy playing it since my PC couldn't meet the high requirement.

Great RTS game Despite what many people think about RTS games on consoles, Red Alert 3 manages to be very well playable. Micro-managing your base and units at the same time without being frustrated about the lack of a PC mouse is somehing that hasn't been done before with a console RTS game. This is the fourth Iteration of an EA RTS on the Xbox 360 and it's getting better every time.
Red Alert 3 has three great campaigns which can be played with a friend and definitely doubles the fun. The cutscenes are, as usual in a C&C game, a bit dodgy but fun to watch. The story is thin as a slice of salami, but that's also part of the fun. Tim Curry is quite hilarious as an evil Soviet commander.
If you've never played a RTS game on a console, you should definitely try Red Alert 3.

Nice Didn't expect there's a poster included inside XD
Enjoying the game, too :)

Goodtimes Thoroughly enjoyed the game, wasn't sure about using a console for RTS but got to say, it works. Great addition to series

Cheesy The acting is cheesy, but then what else do you expect from a C&C game - great mechanics and a a more balanced system between the different warring factions.
controls are tough at first to get used to, but after a few hours, the combinations of buttons needed are simple to master.
dazh001(22) on 21, Oct. 2009 19:40 (HKT)
Decent console RTS I am not really a fan of RTS titles, but Red Alert 3 was hugely discounted so I decided to check it out. What I got was a pretty decent and engaging console RTS game. Whilst a joypad will never usurp the keyboard and mouse combo when it comes to delegating units, the controls in Red Alert 3 have been nicely tuned to work with a standard joypad. Cutscenes are well done and fans of the series will love their cheesy nature and celebrity cast (Tim Curry FTW!).
If you like the Red Alert series than this game is a relatively safe bet. If you are like me and you're not too keen on RTS games, then I suggest you only consider this if you can get it cheap.

Worth the actual price It's not perfect, the controls are sometimes confusing but has some potential. The videos in the cutscenes are great.

Good! It's a very entertraining game! At frist I wasn't sure about playing an RTS on a console but it is a great experience!!
Very good RTS with not so good controls Red Alert 3 is a very good game for RTS fans. With tons of units, hilarious cutscene in high definition and a solid coop play, this version offers too tons of videos from tutorials to behind scenes videos.
Unfortunaly, beside the efforts to make controller easy to use, it's not good as mouse + keyboard. The menu system is confusing and selecting units tends to go out of control.

No title the series that i'll always wating for :)

RTS Works On consoles Ignore all the naysayers, yes RTS games DO work on consoles and after a while you will not even think that a mouse is better (helps if you have never used a mouse in a RTS game before ;))
Great over the top acting and story really sets the mood for this game with some good detailed graphics if you have a HD TV.
More fun than the C&C games, Red Alert 3 is a great addition to the series and with so many missons to play through and with plenty of multiplayer games, it will last a while to. Very highly recommended!

Tim Curry. Enough said. This was a game I was a little iffy about picking up because its on a console and I'm traditionally a PC guy for RTS games but upon playing it I found that the gameplay worked quite well on a controller. The AI is frustrating to play against but that is countered by the appearance of Autumn Reeser and Tim Curry in the Full Motion Videos that separate the missions. Well worth picking up and great value at this price.

Waste of time This game is so utterly flawed, its perhaps the greatest example of Rock/Paper/Scissors.
every unit has a counter, so playing against the A.I. is very frustrating.
While the game has that comedy factor going, all the bright colors and outlined units only add to the absurdity of the game. Kane's Wrath is definately the superior RTS console game.

Good strategy game Picked it up on the weekly special and was not disappointed for the price. However, the game play is quite monotonous with a lot of building like the others in the Command and Conquer series. A nice strategy game but don't expect anything new from it.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 The Russians create a time machine and go back in time to assassinate Albert Einstein. Without the atomic bomb, the United States fails to gain military hegemony and world history changes as both Russia and Japan remain military superpowers in the 21st century. Welcome to Red Alert 3, the latest iteration of the Command And Conquer universe which once again got me all worked up as I rushed to set-up my refinery centres while cranking out soldiers, tanks and planes to defend my base while attacking the enemy's. Red Alert 3 stands out with its cute cartoonish graphics. The movie cut-scenes are really cool with many characters played out by celebrities. Russia's super commando Natasha for instance is played by Gina Carano, the sexy American martial arts champ. Her American counterpart is Tanya, played by Jenny McCarthy, actress, model and Playmate of the Year in 1994. The three factions - Japan, America and Russia - have very distinct strengths and weaknesses. The Russians excel in ground combat but has weak air defenses and is no match for American airpower. The Americans can build an airbase very quickly and can quickly churn out its Vindicator medium bombers. However, the best is the Japanese empire which offers versatility over raw power. Its Mecha Tengu and striker-VX can switch, Gundam-style, between ground to flying units, at will.
