In Europe, race gamers will compete on the greatest official tracks in prestige Marques including Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Pagani. Here, high-performance V8 muscle cars set the pace in aggressive closely fought pack competitions.
In the Far East, Japanese racing culture sets the tone where night races, including Drift racing, take drivers through neon illuminated cities and to outlying mountain roads. There is also the opportunity to compete in races that operate on the fringes of legality in the back streets and industrial areas of Yokohama.
Best Racing Game by far you can't go past a game like Grid, with its excellent in-game graphics, different styles of racing and range of vehicles. it will definately get you hooked for hours
Great game I'm usually a little put off by arcade style racing games as the car handling is rubbish. But I have constantly been impressed by the Race Driver series of games.
GRID is a fantastic game, with great car physics that make if fun whilst still being real enough. Unlike other games just cause you lose traction in the rear end of a rear wheel drive car, doesn't mean you lose control and spin out, power slides are easy to maintain and great fun (like a real rear drive car).
The damage system is very good while not being to realistic (you can take and give some hard knocks).
I'm probably a quater if the way through the campain game and loving it, getting sponsors and team mates makes earning money easy, although it can be a little lean at the start when you don't have much money.
Anyone who is looking for an arcade racer with more realistic car handling, this is the game for you. I would highly recommend this games.
Crazy good. This game is a perfect mix between a more arcade like racer like the burnout series and more simulation-based one, perfect example being Gran Turismo. So if you're looking for a racer that is more realistic in handling but will still be fun, get this game!

No title Yes yes yes, Gird is one of the best next gen racing games, smooth graphics, nice level design and the overall concept between realistic “simulation” and video game was cleverly solved.
Plenty races to do, USA, Japan and Europe and most levels looking great. At first time playing wow I thought that’s the way how HD gamming should look like ALL the time, after couples of drives around the track you got familiar with the controller handling…..
Gird is one of those games you just can’t get enough of it, you keep playing and playing and then you find out hours gone by the first time you start the game…
I hope Codemaster already working on Gird 2, and if I would be the first one how get myself a copy…
The fact you can chose interactively your race-buddy, can make a winning or a loosing…,by time you progress and you have more money to spend on drivers you should pick a well balanced driver.
Also this customizing program is quite nice idea, I like the change the “branding” of my cars for time to time, this makes you always occupied with doing something and you don’t feel left out of the game.
