Story is very interesting also.

An Awesome RPG for the PS3
For those of you that missed out on this game because it was on the XBOX360, well now you can have a chance to play this awesome rpg. It also comes with new content such as two new playable characters, another mystic arte for all characters, new events, new dungeons, new costumes, and more DLC.

In my opinion one of the best and longest rpg you will play with for your PS3.

Alot of fun
Spent over 100 hours for the first playthru. Story was great, scenes were funny, characters were fantastic. Story events and skits were fully voiced and humorous. Well worth the money for it can keep you occupied for quite a while.

A great cinematic RPG with a wonderful story.
This game is a highly recommended buy for any fans of the RPG genre. I have played it for well over 60 hours and still going, despite some heavy use of backtracking as you approach the end of the game its still full of constant fun. I really cant fault it in any way 5 stars from me.
The characters dialogues and cut scenes will really help you get into the story and its fully voiced to bring life into the characters, each with their own natural feel and mood. Even for those new to RPG's this game is a great place to start as it is easy to play without any confusing or needlessly difficult bits that some other JRPG's are known for.

One of the best JRPG of PS3
one of the best in Tales Of series with great characters, well story line(if you can understand some Japanese), great battle system.

with new features added such as new characters, (almost) full voice cut scene, new artes, mystic artes, new events, new costumes ..........etc.
you'll never get bored with this one even if you played the 360 ver. before

it would have been better if namco add the voice and subtitle change feature like eternal sonata.

Very import friendly, Best Tales yet.
This version has a lot of stuff to do, so you'll be playing for a while. It's also easy to play even if you don't understand japanese. There are online guides to help and in my opinion, the only real hard thing to understand if you don't know japanese, are the skills for each character.

One of the best Tales games gets even better!
This enhanced version of the Xbox360 version is simply amazing. The two new characters fit in very well and are both amazing to play as. There are multiple new dungeons and a new post game dungeon that is alot of fun to beat. There are also new skills and artes for all characters, Judith in particular has many new artes. In addition to this all of the story events are now fully voiced. If you own both a 360 and PS3 I strongly recommend you pick up this version, it is amazing.

Best version
An excellent port overall. I like the fact that most of the cutscenes are voiced this time around and the game just overall feels more complete. Patty is also quite likable despite being a loli pirate and having Flynn playable is always a welcome and plays very well.

Yeah, it's highly recommended and hopefully Namco Bandai releases it to the states so US PS3 owners can play it. For any of you who can understand a bit of Japanese, the Japanese version is highly recommended.

Tales of Vesperia PS3, version is a great and amazing game, including a large a amount of extra content, the ps3 version delivers tons of fun and amazing game play, new artes, new hiougis, extra dungeons and bosses, plus a new character Patty and finally Flyn being playable. Big improvement over the 360 version
I own both versions of TOV and I gotta say that the PS3 version is a major improvement over the original, not only you get Patty as the new character, but the story line has been revamped so that she fits into the entire story without feeling forced on. More over, most fans of the original version loved Fren, and this time Fren is here to stay! equipped with the standard Tales game heros' artes sets, Fren is easily one of the best character to use, and he does permanently join your party this time around, so feel free to level him up early on. Besides the 2 new characters, new weapons, skits, dungeons, skills, artes, and cut scenes make this version so much fuller, buyer of the original version should buy this one again should they own a PS3. Last but not least, the new DLCs have exclusive peek at the upcoming movie for TOV, which includes 2 new costumes for Yuri and Fren, showing them in their early knights days prior to the game. It also have characters from the movie appearing in the game. Another interesting DLC is Karol. As some may know, Karol's voice actor in Japanese is the same talent as the one that voiced Keroro the Sargent Frog! This DLC turns Karol into Keroro in every single situation excluding the skits, and in battle, Keroro will use his familiar commands such as "Keroro Unit, move out!" and "Continue the invasion on Earth!". Upon being hit by enemies, he actually makes those frog sounds too! It is too funny not to see. In Conclusion, fans of Tales, this is one definite version to purchase!

Great Port
I was really happy get my hands on this. Already being familiar with the 360 version, asides from a little loading issues, I can say that this is no mere half-assed port. The PS3 version comes chock full of new content such as full voice-acting, new map locations, bosses, moves, costumes, minigames, and even 2 new playable characters. It's literally a game that keeps on giving.

Tales of Vesperia
A nice J-RPG for the 360.

The combat system is quite fun to use like in all the tales series game. The character are quite good, even if a bit too much stereotyped. All the side games, mini quest are also a good. Lot's of things to do to get all the points in the game.

ONe negative point would be the scenarii which is a bit too easy and directive.

Not quite what I expected
I've never played a Tales game before and decided to take a look at this. The story didn't particularly grab me and nor did the somewhat generic anime characters.
The combat also feels like an action game, which I like, but with sluggish response time that makes it rather dull and frustrating.
It's not all bad however, Vesperia is quite well made and I can see how it would draw many people, particularly anime fans into it, it just wasn't the game for me.

The best one
RE: Tales of Vesperia. This is by far the best Tales game I have played. The other 2 in the series I have played are Tales of Legendia and Tales of Symphonia. The graphics are a huge step up from Tales of Symphonia and there are lots of extra additions to make combat more interesting. The ring is also not as annoying in this game as in Tales of Symphnia. The games is probably good for 2 play throughs. If you like Japanese RPGs then you will like this game.

Another excelllent
Since I played Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo GameCube, I completely fell in love with the "Tales" series. Since this game was announced, I have been waiting eagerly, and now that I have in my hands I can say it was worth it. To start, the game looks great with anime style, so it's like playing a cartoon. The textures of the characters and scenarios are colorful and very detailed. Mobility is almost as if you've played a game of the "Tales" saga earlier but with the system that became famous in Tales of Abyss. Obviously movements such as the Fatal Strike and the Mystic Art give novelty to the genre.
The story is not very new. Again we control a group of people with different personalities who want to save the world. We have the sensitive girl who wants to help everyone, the kind that is tough against the established, the child coward who wants to prove otherwise, the intelligent and presumed girl, etc.
The story is suitable for an RPG with a classic plot that seems to come from the days of DREAMCAST but certainly deserves a better script.
We have a fun game but we can not say that is innovative or anything like that, because the designers did not seek that. Someone familiar with the "Tales" series does not take long to finish it but beginners or newbies will love it with all their might

Tales of Vesperia
On all counts, Tales Of Vesperia should end any arguments, if there are still any, on whether Microsoft's console can deliver the RPG experience that was once the domain of the PlayStation. The Tales Of Vesperia series, from publisher Namco, is unique in its RPG elements in that during battles, players retain full control of characters. Instead of the usual turn-based fights, characters can move around a battlefield and attack enemies any time, in real time. Like the Final Fantasy series, each Vesperia game is a new story and Vesperia has the honor of being the first available for the high-definition console. Using a mix of anime-style cut-scenes, Vesperia is a beautiful game. It does not aim for details but focuses on giving life to characters through their individual mannerisms and expressions. This is a nice change from the usual stoic 3D renderings. Another difference is that, save for the boss battles, there are no random encounters that force you to fight. Enemies appear throughout the game. If you prefer grinding, you can actually pick fights by identifying creatures and, in so doing, tailor battles that suit your skill level. During battles, characters can use regular attacks and Artes. Artes are character-specific moves that can be combined with normal attacks. Constant use of Artes leads to the mastery of new and more powerful moves - from range attacks to group attacks. There are also special skills to be picked up by using certain weapons. Picking up new and more powerful skills is important because the battle is not about strategy or deciding who attacks and casts spells. As players have free roam of the battlefield, there are elements of action games here as players can flank slower moving creatures from the side and easily dodge attacks. Despite the many choices, game control is a breeze as many functions can be pre-set - from the selection of weapons and choice of skill to the actions of teammates. For those interested in the storyline, there is extensive dialogue between characters, though translation has always been one big flaw. The English dialogue is awkward, but this is a trapping of many games translated from Japanese. Still, with side quests galore and a smooth soundtrack, Tales of Vesperia is one story worth repeating.

Tales of Very fun with shiny box
Tales of Vesperia is a very fun game. In my opinion, it is the best game in the series.
The Limited Edition of Tales of Vesperia comes in a shiny metal/plastic box combination. Included is a special soundtrack that contains some tracks from several Tales of games…including those from the PlayStation2 Tales of Destiny. It isn’t a bad limited edition, except that you have to pay $10 extra for a small soundtrack, a shiny metal box, and about 5 pages of extra drawings… in other words, it’s a pretty bad limited edition. Namco should have included an art book with at least 30 pages.
Gameplay: Vesperia’s battle system is more fun than Abyss. Fatal Strikes make battles quicker. Also, computer monsters aren’t as stupid… except Estelle is a pretty stupid party member.
Music: Most of the music is good. Except that one song that is a ripoff of the music they play in circuses/ clown places. Seriously. At least that song wasn’t by Sakuraba(I hope). Yay for Sakuraba.
Characters/Story: Yuri is the best Tales of main character EVER. Hes sarcastic and not one of those whiny or “ZOMG WE HAVE TO SAVE THE WORLD/AVENGE [insert random archer’s name]”. Plus he fights for JUSTICE. But so does Flynn. Except Flynn is mostly non-playable. Estelle was cool in the beginning of the game, but as soon as Phaeroh appears, she sucks. So does her computer. Repede is the best non-human character. He’s fast in battle AND he smokes a pipe. Kids don’t follow his example- follow Karol’s instead. Karol is the one of the many funny characters in this game, except he gets abused the most. Judith, Rita, and Raven are cool. I like Vesperia’s characters more than other Tales of characters.

Another Great Tales of...
...as well as just a great jRPG in general. Tales of Vesperia will keep you hooked from the beginning to end with beautiful visuals, charming characters, and fun gameplay. The story is also lengthy, and while it isn't the best ever, it is written well enough to keep you interested.
Tales of Vesperia starts out with Yuri Lowell, who definitely isn't your typical protagonist, trying to recover a stolen "aque blastia". "Blastia" is this story's source of everyday functions. In his pursuit he later meets the female protagonist Estelle, who was trying to escape from a castle, and then the story twists and turns from there.
You'll meet many more characters, all with their own unique personalities. I personally thought Tales of Vesperia's cast was very well-done and is one of my favorite jRPG cast of characters. You'll be attached to them in no time, especially with the help from Skits, which are now fully voiced.
If you've played other Tales of games, the gameplay will feel familiar, but is still different enough for something new. It is still a real-time battle system and they've kept free-run, but they've upgraded it so it's not easily as exploitable. Once you're able to get more artes and skills, battles become incredibly fun with all the different combinations of artes you can do. It's complex enough to almost pass as a fighting game system.
Lastly, maybe this is needless to say, but the graphics are a huge improvement from previous Tales of, and are just lovely. Many have said that "it almost feels like you're playing an anime." I agree, although it would've been nice to see even MORE anime cutscenes than from what it already has.
Tales of Vesperia is very lengthy, and will easily eat 50-70 hours on your first playthrough. After you beat the game you get access to a Grade Shop, which lets you play a second playthrough with bonuses and things like that. Even if you don't do a second playthrough, there are plenty of sidequests to do in your first, so you won't be bored even after beating it.
If you're a Tales of fan, I don't think I even need to tell you to get this; it's a fabulous addition to the series. If you aren't, well, here's a good place to start being one. :D
The Limited Edition comes in a steel case with extra pages of original artwork in the instruction booklet. They're nice if you're willing to pay an extra $10, but not completely necessary. Nothing gameplay-wise is affected if you get the Limited Edition or not.

All in ENglish
Everything in-game is in ENGLISH. Voices, subtitles, menus everything. The manual is Chinese/English. A must buy for JRPG lovers, simply the best JRPG for the XBox 360 or for this generation for that matter!

English Voiced
Fully english dubbed (a shame, as some of the voices are terrible; I might grab the asian english lang version).
Otherwise, more of the same "Tales" stuff, nothing special, but a good game none the less. If you're a Tales fan, its certainly worthwhile.

No title
This game rox! The voice overs for each char is top notch, the animation is on par too, the battle system is great and the game goes up to four members!, The loading time is close to non-existint too. And yes the voice is in english but can probably be change to japanese to, it's that good. Also this game features the first in the tales series to have a international theme song enjoy the game... I'm going back now to play it :)
