Good Game with some flaws There is no doubt that "IL-2 Sturmovik Bird of Prey" is a very good WW2 flight sim game for PS3. If not the best. It has great graphics, handles rather well with a controler. Is kind of easy on easy and is impossible on hard. Average AI. It is all it is expected to be within the budget of this title. That said it all balances out rather well.
The big problem comes with the fact that the game badly needs a patch and a BIG patch at that. Mainly for a online game experience but the single player part could do with a brush up as well. A lot of small fixes are needed here and there.
That said when the patch comes this game it should make it a great game. So at the moment "IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey" just feels a tad unfinished.
One last point is that the DLC for this game has been expensive and also very small in content for what you pay. Fixing the price of these could help the game steer clear of the dusty bargain bin.
