C.O.D does it again.
Modern Warfare 2 is an excellent game. akin to a high budget, well crafted hollywood blockbuster. The single player campiang is shockingly short, but intense, well paced and offeres enough variety to warrent multple play throughs. Thouhg the story is quite garbled and very cynical, taking the shine of the campaign story somewhat. As is expected, the multiplayer is drop dead perfect. Everything carried over from COD 4 and then tweaked and pitched to perfection. The addition of split screen co-op in the new spec-ops mode is also a welcome addition. These mini misions are varied and extremly addictive and can be played online or split screen with friends, adding even more value to an already superb title.

Excellent
An already great game has received very good improvements. Online and offline multiplayer gaming are both great. Choice of weapons and new kill streak awards are making the game much more enjoyable. Plus the new co-op special missions are fun as well. The only downer is the story part. It is shorter than the previous one and it is muddled.

BEST MULTIPLAYER OF THE YEAR!
MW2 out does the original game in all areas. Single player is a let down, dont expect it to last any longer than 6-7 hours if that.

Quite Awful Single-player
The single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 is some of the worst I've played all year. Terrible pacing, story, concept, and execution. Infinite respawning, hectic battles, way too many invisible walls. Not the best when it comes to Single Player entertainment.
