In Earth Defense Force 2017, gamers play with the aid of loyal AI teammates through more than 50 levels in the game as they strive to save Earth from the space invaders and their vicious attempt to eliminate humanity. Players can join forces in co-op mode and battle together, or they can go rogue and battle against friends in deathmatch. In a wholly destructible environment where bridges, skyscrapers and other structures can just as easily be destroyed by friend or foe, players can either save their world or demolish it in the process.
A very fun game This is supposed to be a budget title (and now has a budget price too), but being a budget title or not this is a really fun AND LONG game.
The game is in 3rd person so even if you hate FPS games it's still fun even if all the weapons are guns.
The controls are a little weird, but you get used to them and they're designed so the game isn't that easy to beat.
Talking about beating the game that's what makes the game so long, there are 5 difficulty modes with Normal being the second easiest mode.
I died on the very first mission on Normal (But I'm not a very good gamer)
I always get exited when a game a fun game that is challenging appears, there's an awesome road ahead.

Pew Pew Pew This game is very enjoyable, no boring storylines and no fuss just straight into the action ("pew pew pew"). I found the controls easy to use and the missions just the right lengh so they didn't become tedious. I would recommend this game to people who need a break from standard xbox games and just want to shoot up the town. If you are going to play this 2 player, it is best to have a long tv as the splitscreen goes portrait (unlike in Halo). ^__^ .
Great Fun At Budget Price Earth Defence Force 3, its as cheesy as it sounds, with huge UFOs spewing out giant spiders and ants, 200ft tall robots of doom firing out plasma of death at everything that moves, couple that with fully destructive scenery and 200 (ridiculous) weapons with infinite ammo and you have a real blast! Ok so the graphics are poor for a next gen console, but they aren’t appalling by any means, and there are a hand full of duff levels (the nests especially), however the crazy levels where the game just throws everything it has got at you more than make up for that, put it on for half an hour, and the chances are 3 hours later you will still be blasting things to bits, and at a budget price its well worth it, got out and treat ya self, great fun.

Simple, but Addictive XD This is a great game to play with a friend (or with several friends watching two of you play for added hilarity) and just start blasting stuff. You can fight giant ants (red & black), Giant spiders, and of course, robots, spaceships, etc.
There are hundreds of weapons to choose from, being able to equip two at a time (with infinite ammo to boot, lol). If you can see a building, you can (and most likely will) blow it up at some point during a mission.
Despite it's looks for an XBox 360 game, it was well worth the price, I'd recommend this to anyone who has some steam to blow off, or to just anyone who likes blowing stuff up, killing giant ants and/or eight-legged-freaks XD
