No title The worst RPG I've ever played.
The characters look pretty generic, bland. The story takes ages to develop, the in-game animations are amateur level , it's pretty slow, and a bad game overall.
a good buy Even if you prefer other RPG series, you get to enjoy a decent, fulfilling RPG for half the usual price.

Pretty Decent The best thing this game has to offer is an excellent battle system, which requires skill and a lot of grinding in order to beat the ice queen. The story has been said to be forgettable, but I would have to disagree because the whole arm thing seemed a little unique to me. The graphics are a different story. The cutscenes look pretty good, but the world outside looks very bland (like something the PS2 would spit up.) The achievements are also all story based achievements, none based on doing anything extra, ie. dungeon, maxing character level, or obtaining a super hard to get golemn or item. But overall I think its better than some other RPGs out there for the 360. Plus, its cheap!
INCREDIBLE!! I have to start off by saying that this RPG is one of my personal favorites for many supportive reasons. I beat this on both XBOX 360 and PS3 so I have literally seen everything the game has to offer.
The story is labeled "cliche" by many people but I beg to differ. It is very unique and has well balanced pacing and great story telling. Very interesting stuff.
The sound is fantastic in my opinion. I find myself listening to the soundtrack pretty often.
And finally, THE GAMEPLAY. I have to honestly say that this may very well prove to be my favorite battle system of ALL TIME! It keeps you in the action because of the very unique, and fun battle system that was never seen in many turn based RPG's before. It has a "Grid" system where you move your players across a limited amount of blocks where you must figure out your attack ranges for different characters to successfully defeat the enemy. It may sound familiar, but Enchant Arm executes this grid system in a different way and proves to be a great success.
Looking back on both memorable times beating this game, I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in my history of gaming. I THINK I MIGHT BEAT IT AGAIN LOL!!
Value for money... At this price, it's simply value for money...
Game is good but not great...
Any rpg fan should be able to pick it up with no problems!!
Thanks alot play-asia...
Excellent Service as usual!!
Excellent This RPG is not everyone's cup of tea that's for sure, it contains a lot of elements that you will either love or hate, or can put up with.
The game has a solid story and is a fun RPG once it gets going. The intro is somewhat long, dull, and at times downright irritating, but once the game kicks in and things get moving everything improves drastically.
The game is very linear even by JRPG standards, so people who are lokoing for an Oblivion experience should stay away.
Lastly the PS3 version with new Six-Axis mini-games and extra footage is great! Having played it on the Xbox360 I was skeptical how much better it would be, but it truly is. The enhancements, while minor, really do improve the game. It seems to be a trend now that the 360 gets the games earlier, but the PS3 gets the definitive versions.
great classical RPG if you are a fan of traditional RPGs with rather classical gameplay, then this is the right game for you.
the scenery is beautiful, especially in the beginning of the game. yokohama city is filled with plenty of details, never seen before in any console RPG.
the battle system requires some tactical involvement but battles are generally very easy. in fact most battles can even be fought using the auto battle function.
if you like japanese RPGs, then get this one, it's an absolute gem.
Unbeatable at the moment! Really great! :D Very enjoyable JRPG for the XBOX 360, I am around 6 hours into the game and the story has me incredibly intruiged, really makes you want to play through this game! Great graphics also. I would definatly reccomend this game, and thats coming from a first time JRPG player. Only thing holding this back is the constant random battles, but they are bearable if you are as into this game as I am :)
Enchant Arm I have played this game for around 12 hours now practically non stop and I have completed around 20% of the story mode.
Value for money???? Yes definitely this game is fantastic the grid based combat system is brilliant and adds a novel twist to the theme, the charachters are likeable and often humourous!
Cannot recommend this game enough an absolute gem.
Enchant Arm: A great start for JRPGs in the XBOX 360! This is a review I made after playing Enchant Arms! I hope that you guys will find it informative.
While it may not be the best JRPG out there it certainly is a good one! There are lot of things I loved about this game and I hope other people who are interested in JRPGs as I am, will find it fun too!
Lots of fun here - great RPG for a launch title. This game has got some great characters and it's nice to hear the original japanese with english subtitles. But one complaint is that the game font is WAY too small. ON my 14 set I can barely read it. But nonetheless the game is quite impressive. The characters are fun - especially Makoto - and it offers quite a bit of depth in the gameplay department. Definitely worth checking out if you have a J-version 360!
