詳細描述
Fable II is the highly anticipated sequel to the wildly successful original that sold more than three million copies, offering even more choices and building on the core gameplay theme of Fable, where your every decision continually defines who you become. This action role-playing game (RPG) allows you to live the life you choose in the newly expanded open world of Albion. Set 500 years after the original, Fable II delivers an epic story and innovative real-time gameplay, including a massive amount of freedom and choice to explore a vast collection of dungeons, catacombs, and taverns in the world of Albion.
Not too complex as a RPG If you approach Fable II expecting it to be a complex, serious RPG, you will be sorely disappointed. It's a lighthearted, comedic and linear experience with some "Sims-like" relationship simulation added and some side-quests to expand the experience. Entertaining, but not memorable. At least is better than the disappointing first Fable.
The Platinum Hits edition sold by Play-Asia includes both "Knothole Island" and "See the future" DLC packs, so it's even a more complete experience. And at this price it's hard not to recommend it.
Not the best RPG on the 360. Unfortunately the first Fable was a lot better gameplay wise, Due to the fact Fable II seems like it was built for kids and doesn't offer much for the adult gamers out there.
But having said that for the price you can get it for it is well worth a look and who knows you might actually enjoy more than i did.
Story still needs improvement It's better than Fable. The fighting, shooting and magic is great. A lot of repeating quests. Storyline needs a lot of improvement. Needs a more rich experience.
Very good RPG for Xbox Fable 2 is the true sequel to the wildly successful original that sold more than 3 million copies, offering even more choices and building on the core gameplay theme of "Fable," where a player's every decision continually defines whom they become. Fable 2 is an action role-playing game (RPG) that truly allows players to live the life they choose in an unimaginably open world environment.
Choices, consequences. The innovative gameplay pioneered in the original "Fable" provided gamers with a never-before-seen level of immersion in a truly interactive world. Fable 2 expands upon the scope and depth of the Xbox classic by adding incredible new features and creating a wider, more complex kingdom of limitless choices and consequences. Players will have the option to play as a man or woman, get married, have children, and live a life of their own design.
A land far, far away. Revisit the sprawling world of Albion more than 500 years after the events of the original Fable, where you are free to explore the landscape and openly roam the countryside. For the right price every house, hut, dungeon and castle is for sale. Players can witness how the world grows and changes in response to their decisions in incredible and unique ways as they rediscover Albion as if for the first time.
Fight with ease. Fable 2 pioneers a new combat system designed to allow players to truly master hand weapons such as swords and maces, ranged combat weapons such as bows and guns, and an entirely new magic system. These three disciplines, while very accessible, are also amazingly deep, and allow players to mix combat styles and become everything from master swordsman to skilled ranger to evil magic wielder, utilizing a single button on the Xbox 360 controller.
A hero's best friend. This groundbreaking addition to the game is integral to the theme of unconditional love in Fable 2. The canine companion will act as friend, compass and protector. Players must merely feed their pooch and he will love unconditionally, creating a bond that sets up emotion-filled journeys all throughout this magical world.
A definite must buy for all players who have played the original Xbox Classic Fable, or for any new players who are interested in playing a great game, with a great story plot, and great game mechanics... a definite buy for everyone.
A decent action-RPG Fable II is an improvement on its predecessor in most ways. While it still fails to be a true AAA RPG, it's an enjoyable experience as long as your expectations aren't too high.
As with the first game, the combat is lacking in depth, but can still be fun and provides a bit of variety. The ranged weapons are definitely more fun than they were in Fable, and they integrate nicely with melee combat, allowing you to switch back and forth easily.
Spellcasting is a disappointment. The need to charge your spells to attain full power is frustrating and makes playing as a pure caster character very irritating. There's little reason to sacrifice melee abilities in order to gain superior casting power.
The story is an improvement over the first Fable, but still feels lifeless. The focus on the main character as the player's avatar prevents any other characters in the game from having any personality to speak of. Cities feel like boring carbon copies, with the citizens mumbling the same four or five lines in the same two or three voices.
Fable II, much like Fable, can be fun to play, but don't expect a serious RPG experience. If that's what you're looking for, look into Mass Effect or one of the 360's vast lineup of JRPGs.
