Good action. I was expecting a better story though.
Amazing scene where you can interact directly with the force, even the manubility its a little rash, the goes and adventures with Starkiler are at a new level!
Good game must buy
its better to buy this game on xbox360 or ps3 because the wii version of this game have very low graphics...
The game starts with a bang, giving you control of Vader invading a Wookie planet and tons of opportunities for full mayhem with the dark side of the Force. Unfortunately, that's all it has to offer. The opportunities are there, with an interesting new character, Starkiller, and a plot set between the events of Episodes III and IV, but Force Unleashed is too worried about fan service to deliver a truly distinct and polished experience. The pace is uneven, controlling an overpowered character makes everything get old really quickly, and the physics of the game is sketchy - sometimes everything seems to gel when you lift a spaceship and throw it at a bunch of enemies, only for you to get stuck in a piece of scenario debris. Underwhelming overall.
The Force Unleashed represent a excellent exemplar for action games. Recommend for all players.
awesome game :)
This game has a good story but the menus and gameplay look like an arcade game. It is good fun but not amazing.
This game didn't blow me away, but it was fun to pay through once. One of the bosses is particularly cheap, but that was the only huge annoyance in the game.
As the one from PS2, awesome.
For fans of Star Wars, The Force Unleashed is a game that really puts the player in command of a powerful jedi / sith. great game.
wonderful game, not like a lot these inventions over the extended universe (who is SW fans will understand)
but this game is charming, has a problem with the gameplay, but nothing alarming
A good game!
although is good for console....i certainly recommend pc edition if there`s any.
i think lego star wars series are better than this.
good game! awesome
Pretty decent action adventure game. Star Wars fans will love wielding the lightsaber and using Jedi powers, but this game is ultimately let down by poor controls and certain frustrating game sections. Still a good buy at the discounted price.
A twist in being the bad one. Fun and interesting to play. A great game in the Star Wars series.
Graphically some of the technical work is great, although this is marred by bits of screen tearing and framerate stuttering. Using the Force is great fun, but many of the enemies can be tedious to fight. Level design isn't very inspired as well. While it's far from perfect, Star Wars fans will find that it's worth playing through simply for its story and the ability to use the Force.
Good graphics and gameplay.
Really good !
a must have game
If you like god of war series, you don't have to wait to buy this one. Amazing graphics, very good story line. I recommend it!
Great game! I recommend to everyone!
It's a great game for Star Wars fans. I like it!
Nice gameplay and good storyline. I had this on the PS3 and picked it up for the XBox for the achievements :)
Not just a game but an adventure!
given the absolute bargain price of the game, its a great buy. There's an absolute dynamite storyline and good variety that prevents the game from being boring like other smash-em-ups.
You'd be surprised at how good the storyline is compared to the actual Star Wars movies.
The gameplay is easy to learn, and the game provides a variety of challenges so you can't just get through the game using 1move. Although the targeting system for the Force moves is a littly glitchy at times, its a rare occurence and doesn't affect your overall gaming experience.
All in all, there's no better time(or price) to get this game for hours of Star Wars fun.
Great story mixed with fun combat but also mixed with an annoying targeting system and glitches.
If you're a Star wars fan and love the Dark side, this game is for you!
Its a fun game with a good storyline, but has a few buggy issues and design flaws that stop it from being a classic.
Good game and good offer, and it's a star war game.
so far so good. I'm enjoying the game and wld recommended this. However, I must say that I expected more from the graphics. Perhaps i'm just too used to the graphics of the latest games!
I have finished this game, that I think it's fun and good enough to play. But the weakest point of this game is the length of game, I think that it's too short, it's take too short time to finish. Conclusion, I think that this game is worthwhile to try.
Great Force using experience with very best price. Loves it. Hurry grabbing while stock is still available.
It's a must-have for people who like the Star Wars series, specially because it has to do with the all-time favorite Darth Vader.
The controls can get quite frustrating at times, but overall, it's a good game to spend some time.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an excellent game to kill a few hours however it should be noted that this game is more bark than bite. Containing the 'Star wars' label obviosly gives the the game considerable hype, which might make you overlook several issues, which is why it is only recomendable to casual gamers or star wars fanatics. Visually, the game is impressive with several familiar locations beautifully implemented into the game. Combine that with the near bullet proof audio design and an engaging storyline and you have got what seems to be an epic experience. Sadly though, the game's best feature also happens to be its worst. The gameplay of force unleashed appears to be extreemly fascinating and exciting at first, but as you progress through the game, you start noticing several flaws in its developement. Throughout the game you feel like a true jedi, but at several times, you are unable to perform what you really want to do, causing frustration. This game obviosly needed several more months in developement to polish the ubiquitous rough edges. Saying that, if the technical aspects of the game dont bother you, and you are just looking to have fun hacking and slashing your lightsaber and using force powers to send helpless storm troopers off cliffs, this game delivers.
Control issues and character believability. If only those were polished before the game was actually released that would hv done this game some justice. It is fun to play though.try tossing those storm troopers using the force and you will know what i mean.
As i was getting the part 2, I decided to pick this one up too! Best prices online only at PA!
A great leap considering previous Jedi games.
Impressive Force powers.
However, saber attacks are rather stiff and robotic
Don't need to say that for Jedi lovers is OMG... Simply a great, great game from Lucasarts...
With so many superior action titles available, Unleashed is hard to recommend unless you are a Star Wars fan.
The Force Unleashed, despite it's silly title, does feature one of the best stories the Star Wars universe offers.
This story, mixed with the cinematics and often superb voice acting, is the best reason to play The Force Unleashed. However, the gameplay isn't up to par. If the product felt finished and some of the core problems were fixed, then it would be fantastic. If you're not a Star Wars fan but you're looking for a new action game, it's hard to recommend Unleashed with other action titles such as Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, God of War, and Ninja Gaiden on the shelves. If you are a Star Wars fan, however, fly through The Force Unleashed to get the gist of the story and hope all it's problems and shortcomings are fixed in the upcoming sequel
great save: US$ 40.00 OH
I've just started playing the game, and so far i'm satisfied with the gameplay and the storyline. Was a bit dissapointed with the graphics of the cutscenes.. but oh well this game did come out in 2008 so I guess I cant be expecting the cut scenes to compare to many other games today.
This was my first game purchased in Play Asia.
The game arrived in Brasil in perfect condition. It's even better to play SWFU in PS3 instead of PS2, now I'm excited and will play until the end of the game.
extremely interesting and futuristic. beautiful continuous fighting with good fluidity
Certainly, good price for an awesome game!
Great game Great offer you cant miss
This is a great action game. You can't miss it if you are star war fans. Buy it with no regret.
Great buy for a good price! To be playing as the sith apprentice is a fantastic experience!
it's an action game and it's starwars, so that's great
Everting good, need more in graphic touch in ps3
If you are fan of star wars, you must buy this game, you will enjoy this game....
You will really enjoy this game, no matter if you are a hardcore gamer or a casual one. Using the force is awesome!!! but it now! what are you waiting for?
I just bought the first series just before the force unleashed II released. For all Star Wars lovers, It's a MUST buy!! Also, the price has been lowered for just US$19,90.
thank you playasia
An intergalactic adventure game that never stops entertaining! Highly recommended to those who wish to be a Jedi.
It's amazing game. It's a little old, I know. And now the sequel are going to release. But this game are a great experience to control
The Force. We see the things on "The Other Side"! This is so great to Star Wars fans.
The price is low to how great this game are!
a game without limits if your a fan of star wars or not.
I've played a few star wars games before and I must say this one is the best I have played so far, allowing you to use the force to manipulate objects and throw enemies around is fun. Try it out if you like Star Wars.
could deepen more in history
The story is well told. It gets you into the Star Wars universe, and introduces a new storyline to the saga. In several moments makes you feel like being a Sith (specially playing Darth Vader).
Graphics & Sound: 3/5
The graphics are below what I expected from a PS3 game. The sound is good, didn’t hear any flaws.
Game play: 4/5
The game play is fun. The boss fights really makes you feel like being in a Jedi duel. The power upgrades are pretty linear but creates different game play strategies during the game. The camera gets a little frustrating sometimes.
Should you buy this? 5/5
At the price of USD20.00 it's worth the buck.
Despite a few shortcomings (e.g camera, gameplay and main story length), SW:TUF is a highly entertaining game with an excellent story and graphics. DLC extends the longevity of the game.
Its a pretty good game and the graphics are amazing.
I love playing with The Force, and killing jedis.
I bought this to play before SW: Force Unleashed 2 is released. The mechanics are a little difficult to get used to and the camera system can be annoying, but once you get the feel of the game and start leveling up your force powers the game becomes a lot of fun.
I really enjoyed the story and how it pulled you into the Star Wars universe.
If your a Star Wars fan then this is a must. It's a great game and lots of fun.
well i've been playing over and over again...worth the price for a such good game...
great star wars story.
looking forward on the second episode story.
Great graphics, great story, great Game.
The game has some highs and lows. For the price, I think it is a buy! Good action but kind of short.
The game is everything i expected and more. For those that are Star Wars fan will enjoy even more this fantastic game. It is a must have!!!
Really good game for me..
Great action & story line..
Low price & good value game!
I buy tis game because I like the Star war saga, but this ins´t just the best game That I played of the saga how it give me another hero the starkiller, I like much more the saga with this new adventure.
Great game, and look forward to Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 in the coming fall 2010
but with a lot of bugs, especially in the achievements.
A story set in the world of the Star Wars-universe, impressive fights and a hero with profile - all that a Star Wars-fan needs!
Marvelous action game with hack and slash. If you're Star Wars fan, this is a MUST. If you're not, you're probably gonna become after playing this game.
A great game and if your a star wars fan this game should already be in your 360. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
I found TFU Ultimate Sith Edition to be a great game. A good control scheme and expansive, well designed and thought out levels make it a joy to play. The cutscenes are also something to be marvelled, and flesh out the story quite well. The' good' and 'evil' endings are classic lucasarts, and make the game replayable while the extra content and three new levels only add to a great overall game.
Great game play and graphics. Solid control with well thought out levels. Must have for Star Wars fans.
A story between star wars III to IV. Talking about a starkiller, the apprentice of Darth Vader. It is a traditional third person action game. A huge and strong story line basic on star wars and having a amazing movement with will power. You can do the same as the star movie, using your will power to hold the enemies or objects, throw them away by using your power.
Less than half 100US, you can get a original game + paid Download addons.
If you are star fans, you must try this game, even you are not a fans, but you still can enjoy the amazing action in this game.
P.S. you can play with Darth Vader in the Prologue!!
"The Dark side is your ally."
A solid action game, not the best in its genre, but still an enjoyable one. Great soundtrack, graphics and a very entertaining story. The DLC levels and especifically the Hoth level are a big plus. Absolutely a must have, specially if you are a Star Wars fans. Can't wait for the sequel
I found this to be a great game. While it may not be the most complex game, its undoubtedly a fun experience as you become a Sith powerhouse. Its mainly a once through experience, but that first time through is great fun.
Really nice videogame!!!!
The game revives the Star Wars' atmosphere with beatiful scenarios and exciting sound effects. Can't wait for the incoming second game...
this is the best star wars game since the super famicom games
a must have for any star was fan of action games
this game really makes you feel like a jedi or (sith ;)),
always loved star wars and always wanted a game where it really feels like im using the force this game is it :D
after spending many hours decided whether to get the standard game or this, i chose this for the extra levels the little book and and the card.
and im glad i did the extra levels have everything that was good about the original movies especially the hoth level
i highly recomend this to any star wars fan and any hack n slash fan (Y) :D
It fills in the gaps between the movies.
It's definitely the force unleashed, and for any star wars fans, it belongs in your collection.
I played this when it first came out and loved it then it came out with trophies and new DLC and at the time the Hoth DLC was only avalible on Ultimate Sith Edition I loved the DLC and it was cheaper buying it like this then buying it new then buying the DLC from PSN I highly recommend this game it's essential for any hardcore Star Wars fans and great for people who just enjoy swinging around a lightsaber and killing people with force lighting if you play this game I guarentee you'll love it
A little short, but really fun to play.
I've owned the original copy of SW:Force Unleashed, and as soon as the Sith Edition was announced I knew I had to add it to my collection; and it didn't disappoint.
The metal box has a great look and feel, it is nice to have something other than a plastic box from time to time.
The game is set before the original trilogy and really adds more depth to the Star Wars universe. The over the top jedi power is what most of us wish we could do, and now the power is in your hands.
Additional content of the Sith edition adds even more fun to the game as you can visit some key locations from the movies.
Overall, fantastic game repackaged and with all the extra goodies, this can not be missed by any Star Wars fan or anyone looking for an entertaining action game.
There's nothing better than throwing imperial soldiers away!!
Its a solid action game, got some flaws here and there but nothing big. If you are a Star Wars fan this is a must buy, the story is really good written. And now with the ultimate sith edition you got all the extra DLCs with some great alternativ storylines for Star Wars.
If you're a Star Wars fan, look no further. This is the game you absolutely must own! Spanning the period between the first and second trilogy of the saga, this game puts you in the shoes of Starkiller - the most powerful jedi who ever lived.
Beautiful graphics, great voice acting, nice flowing story, and amazing amazing force powers...this game is perfect in every way.
The Ultimate Sith Edition also comes in a nifty looking metal case, a limited edition art card, and bosts exclusive extra contents not available on the PSN store.
Buy it! Buy it now!
the gameplay brings starwars to a whole new level by being overpowered.
feels like ur character can take on everything in its path.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a hack and slash game (Similar to God of War, Demon's Souls and Devil May Cry) set in the universe between episode 3 and 4. This game is easy to pick up on it's play style and ties in some extra content for any star wars fans who haven't quite had enough of the story yet.
I believe as a motto from the developers team,
The goal of TFU? To kick someones *** with the force!
And that's too true.
In summary this game deserves a 4 star rating, it's not perfect due to some infuriating enemies that are common and not bosses and other flaws that make you scratch your head. But still a good game and for the price I paid it was all worth it.
This title is most recommendable to big Star Wars fans, as the storyline and content are truly great, with a lot of references for fans. The gameplay is very good, though not excellent, but more than does the job. I more than recommend this if you're both a Star Wars fan and a fan of action games. If you're going to buy The Force Unleashed, make sure to get the Sith Edition. It has all the DLC included, which is a lot of extra content.
Tremendous game. I have chosen the American edition though I live in европе. This disk in a steel box, and the European edition in a standart box.
Game interesting with all additions to it.
To all fans of star wars to buy necessarily!
i played this game before it is a must buy it kicks ass lol i love funny thing in game next time you play it when you choke a sand trooper he looks like he is going to crap his pants lol good game though
A good but short game. Control is good but somemetimes a little chaotic.
Great sound. It has a very espectacular epic moments
Excellent game, I recommend to all.
I am a StarWars fan, this game is definitely attractive to me. After I played it, it's better more than I expect. It's wonderful. If you are a StarWars fan, you shouldn't miss it. If you are not a StarWars fan, this game is worthy of trying.
Controls and the camera can get a little annyoing at times, but if you like Star Wars this game is definitely for you. Generally great and sometimes awesome cut scenes, a soundtrack above all doubts and a grown up storyline make this Jedi experience quite enjoyable. Above all, using the force to throw stuff around is plain fun! 4 stars for Star Wars fans, everyone else probably has to substract one.
Play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice and become a powerful wielder of the force as you progress. The most fun thing about this game is definitely using the different force powers you gain through experience. Throwing stormtroopers around and impailing them with your lightsabre never gets old. Some rudimentary puzzles, which usually require using force powers, break up the action, and there is never a quiet moment. However, there are some bad points. The targeting is truely annoyng and can actually cause your death in desperate situations, as it tends to lock onto the target you least need it too. And the camera can be problematic in tight situations.
Having said that, this is an incredibly entertaining game to play and it's always nice to return to a galaxy far far away.
Fantastic ! Everyone loves SW, must buy item !
Not much has changed from the original edition. If you have the original then just download the newer levels. However, with this edition you get the Hoth level which allows you to fight Luke Skywalker. Beyond that nothing is different
The best star wars game ever.
I think so. And since we have no other option for this generation consoles, yes! Story is pretty cool and the fighting mechanics are good. If you're Star Wars fan and still didn't play this one think again, are you a real fan? All SW fans will appreciate the game but don't expect anything new in this genre. All hail the Dark Lord!
An excellent story along the classic Star Wars lines of betrayal and redemption, filling in a hitherto untouched part of the saga makes this a must play for any Star Wars fan.
However if you're not a big fan of mythos you may find the action game play to become somewhat repetitive, though the big battles and fun force powers make it a worthy purchase if you're looking for a reasonably priced bit of fun.
If you love Star Wars, you'll likely love this game. A must-buy for those who need to know how the rebel alliance was formed, the game also caters to non-fans by having a really fun combat system and giving the player force powers.
Plenty of excitement to be had with this game, miss out at your own cost.
This games brings a nice additional side story with superb cut scenes as well as a solid story. However, gameplay is a bit average and very buggy. Characters often fall off ledges without knowing and combos can end up going too far which results in falling off the platform.
Graphics are above average for this game. Great game if you are a fan of star wars.
It is one of the best Star Wars game made today. ( let us not consider Knights of the Old Republic and other Bioware stuff : ) It chatches the very essence of every Star Wars movie and expands upon it. Enganging storyline and characters, top notch action and a steadily rising challenge will keep you coming back for more and more.
The force power make you feel like a real Jedi and the light saber abilities are versatile and pretty useful depending on the situation. To get certain objects you have to think around the corner from time to time, not terribly difficult problems, but they still give the experience a fresh breath.
The game has its hitches though. It is not definitely not an easy sometimes not even a fair game, but that s what life is about, isnt it?! d^_^p
Overall this is unfortunately only an average title for the PS3. Although there is much praise for the storyline, it seems that the execution of what should be a fun game leaves something lacking.
It's not that it's a bad game, however there are some frustration with controls/viewing angle, and the fact the game loads when there's no reason to (such as when accessing options, force powers, force upgrades), which is somewhat annoying.
Looking past those issues, it's actually a quite a fun game to play. For Star Wars fans who love running around as a Jedi (or rather Sith), using devastating attack moves and fun force powers, it's definately worth looking at getting the game. Picking up objects, and enemies, and tossing them far away, using a light saber, there are quite a few ways of moving through the game to accomplish the goals.
Perhaps not a game worth full launch price, however with the usual price drop it has gone through it becomes a far more attractive purchase.
Best of the series, lovers can not lose!
The game has so much potential, but it's very rough around the edges. The menus takes forever to load, the interface is awful.
It feels like a tech demo made into a game, it's still fun, but it feels very cheap.
Get it only if you find it cheap
I had my hopes too high for this game.
The concept, of both the gameplay and the story, had a lot of potential. Too bad the gameplay gets repetitive very fast, and the story is almost non-existent during most of the time. The main character being a fool for most of the game doesn't help, and neither do the many bugs in the game engine.
I'd recommend getting this only if you're a big Star Wars fan (the visuals and small bits of plot are great), or if it's on sale. A really good sale :P
Looks like the best game from StarWars series on PS3.
This game is fantastic. The force powers are great fun, whether you prefer to send your enemies flying from great heights to their death or if it's more your style to chop them up with a lightsaber, you will have a lot of fun playing through this game.
Definately worth buying. Especially at play-asia's cheap price.
If you only choose games that receves positives reviews ,it´s time to give a chance with this title.
To be honest, the game is not a piece of art, have his own bugs BUT, can be pretty fun to play. The graphics is good, the story descent and the chance to play as Darth Vader himself - unique!
The gameplay may be bland and controls not responsive but the story is what makes the game worth playing. Good graphics and music help make the game enjoyable too.
Some might say that this is a short game, but for me it worked very well. The grafics are amazing, the gameplay is great, but the most valuable part for me was the history, if you are a Star Wars Fan and know about the history of the saga you will love it!!!
This game has it's ups and downs. Starting with the ups, it has really good graphics, nice stage design and nice comboing options (don't expect extreme comboing like in Devil May Cry though). The use of force powers is pretty simple and very effective. It takes little time to master it. There are several well-designed outfits to choose from (as you progress through the game, you unlock them). You can replay any level whenever you want (so you don't have to start over to play them again). Nice Story line.
As for the downs, the controls are a bit irresponsive when pulling quick manuevers such as moving during combos. Jumping over death-pits can be a little frustrating due to the camera (it's nothing too bad though). The collision detection in some areas, especially when trying to jump on platforms, is a little lacking. Sometimes it becomes a guessing game where you can jump or not (even though the game is pretty straight forward, so you should have no problems finding your way around). Overall it is a good game to play, even if you're not a Star Wars fan. If you're looking for an action game, you might as well give this one a try.
Very good game, worth buying
If you are a star wars fan then there is no need to think. You will have to buy it. Battling with light sabers, deflecting bullets, intense action, sci-fi world, truly amazing graphics make this a must buy in the Action-Adventure genre of games.
I bought the 360 version. I was very pleased with the game overall. I thought the environments were really thought out and beautiful, where I could just sit and stare at them and not play. I enjoyed the story a great deal and the characters were likable as well. Yes, I had instant deaths, but who cares? The amazing jedi powers that could be used, especially on unbelievable, but awesome objects was a great treat. With the added content giving it much more replay value as well, I highly recommend this game.
Sorry to say that this was a bit of a disappointment to me. The controls aren't all that responsive and the game can be quite annoying at times. Instant death because you jumped wrong or were pushed over an edge is hardly my idea of fun; and it happened way too often.
The camera is a bit crap as well which can cause some tense moments when you are trying to focus it on the enemies that are attacking you.
The story is a must see if you are a fan, the action is fun and the only problem is that it can get repetitive, but besides that the game is great. The greatest enemy, the camera, but in can be handled and even if 90% of the moves are unnecesary they stillr eally fun to make, I don't think the game is bad and the extra campains on the playstation store make it nicer.
Any way my advise is, if you are a starwars fan, get it, if not don't even bother go enjoy ninja gaiden instead!!
In this Games, you are a power full Jedi, is very easy to control and you can enjoy your power to control the object or soldier fly and hit.
Great Cinematic graphic, i though i was buying a movie.
Great game for fans and the gameplay is pretty cool also. Just think it could have a mult-player battle mode, like the PSP version. Still good though!
Star wars the Force Unleashed while not a perfect game, it's pretty damn fun. The graphics are stunning, gorgeous stages, great character designs, every aspect is just beautiful to the eye. The gameplay is tight, a tad frustrating at spots but there is big fun to be had here. The soundtrack in a word "awesome", the sound effects best ever, and the engaging story line are all worthy of "10" status. Hard to believe, but this games story is even better than "Knights of the old Republic" which says volumes on how great it is, deserving of moving to the big screen, and blows episodes I-III right out of space. I can feel myself wanting to go through this game several times, so replay ability is very good, only time will tell if I'll still be yearning to play though this game a couple dozen of times like I have with both Kotor games over the years. The Force Unleashed is must own game, not just for Star Wars fans, but people who love great games. Buy this game you must!
For all of you Star Wars fans out there, here's a new tale from the epic adventure finally worth telling. You won't need to know much about the newer Star Wars prequel trilogy to enjoy this tale that has more connection with the earlier, more satisfying Star Wars films. The premise is simple: Darth Vader has a new apprentice, one that has been kept hidden from the Emperor, who is helping the Empire wipe out the remaining Jedi. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed answers many of the questions fans have been asking, like how Vader managed to kill off all the Jedi and if the Dark Lord of Sith ever had a pupil. Naturally, you play the role of the apprentice Starkiller, who finds out that his destiny with the Jedi and the Rebel Alliance is more connected than his Master would like. If you've read the comic book, don't worry - the game has elements not in the book. Aside from the storyline though, what would enthrall fans is the game's ability to control the Force, the special ability that is the crux of Star Wars. From Push to Repel to Lightning, the developers have greatly expanded upon the traditional notion of what a wielder of the Force can accomplish. The Force abilities here put those of previous Star Wars games like Jedi Knight to shame. Imagine being able to pick up any object with the Force and toss it at your enemies, or using the Force to split huge trees asunder and crack open hills to send timber and stones falling onto your hapless enemies below. Stormtroopers and other soldiers are more cannon fodder as you trek through the Star Wars universe trying to fulfill your Master's wishes. From the beginning, Starkiller is a full-fledged Sith and it takes him only a few levels to master new abilities like Force Lightning and Repel. Players are then required to string together combo attacks to score points which can be used to increase your abilities. As in role-playing games, you can choose if you want to learn more Force skills or increase the powers of the one you currently have, crafting Starkiller into the super-soldier of your choice. Enemies respawn as well, so you can effectively backtrack and kill more goons to raise your score. You will need all those skills as this game is not easy. Aside from the useless stormtroopers, the other enemies are formidable in that they will regroup and retaliate. However, the battle is hampered by poor, almost non-existent camera controls. Once cornered, there are areas where you cannot shift the camera to see what's going on. In boss battles, for instance, the game automatically pulls back the camera to give a full view of the battlefield but still, no camera controls are given. So imagine my surprise when I brought down trees during my fight with a Jedi, only to have the battle obscured by a tree trunk itself. While the graphics are rich, with each planet looking distinct, fans may not enjoy the audio. The new soundtrack sounds similar to John Williams' original score and the classic sounds of light sabres igniting and lasers going off are spot on. My issue is with the voice acting - hearing someone other than James Earl Jones as Vader just doesn't cut it, even if the game does.
The game still has me playing even though i have finished it 3 times already
the details are amazing and even with such detail there are no glitches at all!
the voicing for the characters, enemies or foe, are truly amazing
im giving it a 5 !

**Xbox 360 version**
Clipping, frame rate issues, background glitches, a frustrating camera, and average gameplay are not overcome by the great story which is the only worthwhile feature of this game.
Mediocre hack and slashery with a variety of moves which are needless as you can smash the entire game with a handful of them in under 9 hours...on hard settings.
It can be fun at times using the force, but ultimately this is a game for those who want easy XBL gamerpoints, tho it makes you play though it at least 4 times to get the difficulty completion awards. Other than that, it has zero replay value.
Worth a play for the Star Wars fans, but hardly worth the shelf space it would take up.
Nice game~ A collector for Star Wars Fans
after months of hype, the PSP game ends up being much like a prequel-trilogy movie: a real disappointment. there are some good points, like the game's physics engine, the story and the extra modes. but since all of these are based around surprisingly mediocre graphics and a camera that always seems a few seconds behind the action, the end result is a lot of frustration. if you're a fan wanting a portable star wars fix, you might consider this, but if you're looking for a good adventure game, you're better off looking elsewhere.
The reviews for this game are pretty low (below buying standards). People were just saying that this is not worth buying and is just worth the rent. I am a gamer who likes to get all of the other side objectives and those included in this game are enough to keep me going. Besides, the action here kicks ass! There is definitely replay value! Not to mention the incredibly good story. A must buy for star wars fans and others who aren't won't be disappointed as well.
Great game LucasArts! I give it a 8!
Of course, this score doesn't count in the ratings... So does my opinion for that matter :D
