Awful controls
Oh my god. The controls are SO awkward. In Half-Life2, there are countless scenarios where you suddenly have to aim very quickly or otherwise you get shot. This is not possible using the stupid analog controller pads. I really wished they included some sort of auto-aim like in Metroid Prime (GC).

I bought the game again on Steam for just $20 and am now playing it on my PC.

Apart from that, the game really like to display the "Loading..." screen.

I think the whole product is complete amazing!
The only part I hav not enjoy completely is Team Fortress, because I already hace Halo 3 and ODST, and enjoy it much more than this online shooter

But apart from this, the story is incredible, and completely in english... sooooo lets buy it! ;P

PS: Portal is another thing, but... it makes me laugh a lot LOL

Even at full price it'd be a bargain, but the awsome people at Play-Asia have the Korean version in stock, which is Region free and cheapest of em all.

Great Game!!
The orange box is one of the best "games" of this generation, as it comes with 5 games: Half Life 2, HL2:Episode 1, HL2:Episode 2, Team Fortress 2 And Portal, all of which are excellent games. The only downfall of the game is the loading times, which can be quite long, but can be shortened by installing it to your hard drive. Would reccomend this game to anyone who owns a xbox 360, PC or PS3.

Orange Box
I have this game on both 360 and PS3 and it still remains a great game, especially when you consider the fact that you get 5 games.

The FPS is great. It has excellent graphics (considering its age) and controls are perfect. The fact that you get a great little puzzle game Portal is awesome and at time frustrating.

Only one real complaint is Fortress, it is a online game just like Halo or Killzone 2 but, the limited levels is a bit lackluster.

Overall, the game has something for everyone, highly recommend it.

I purchased the Korean version and it works perfectly in English on my Australian Xbox 360! The best part? It was under $20! :D

If you want a variety of games then The Orange Box is the game for you. Getting 5 games in 1 box you'll get Half Life 2, Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.
With the Half Life 2 series taking you almost 10 hours to complete you'll be playing this for ages. A story that sucks you in it will make you just sit there waiting for Half Life 2 Episode 3. The contols are farely easy to learn with nothing that will get you stuck. The gravity gun is fun to use. The problem wth the story is that some moments in the game where tricky and they don't give many clues on the direction your meant to going in.
Portal is farely short and won't take you long to complete. But the good thing about the game it combines puzzles with first person shooting avoiding these metal robots that shoot you if you are in there sight. You do this by using a gun that shoots a portal that takes you from one place to another. It's a game that is one of a kind.
Team Fortress 2 is possibly the funniest multiplayer game in the world with so many classes to choose from like the heavy weapon guy that clears a room in seconds to the spy that can disguise as other teammates and damage enemy weaponary

The half-life games are fantastic. They are a great combination of action and puzzle solving.
I love how interactive the half-life game environment is.
Thought the graphics are a little dated at this point the games are fun and the story is good.

this is a great deal no question! Portal is my fav game so far, but ive only played the first Half Life game and Team Fortress 2. Portal is also one of the funniest games ive ever played. i could be wrong but TF2 seems to be only an online game which was a bit of a dissapointment. also all the games seem to share the same engine and annoying loading times!! apart from that just a fantastic buy indeed!

You cannot even imagine how much fun can it be playing the Orange box. Its an amazing combo at dirt cheap prices. No praises for Half Life 2 and its episodes can be enough. The Half Life games become a bit repetitive but then they added the blockbuster in the Package - Portal. Portal starts a new era in gaming. Its changes your perception of how we can interact with our environment.
The package will appeal to the guys who love FPS (and First Person puzzle games.) Go for it.

The Orange Box is pure brilliance. BUY IT!! You get Half Life 2 plus Episodes 1 and 2, plus team Fortress 2, plus PORTAL which is the most refreshing game I've played in a long time. It's short and sweet but the puzzles are fun, the plot is better than most full shooter games, and the sense of humour in the game is great, like all Valve games really. Add onto that the fact that Portal has simply one of the best endings ever and you can't go wrong. 5 games, $50, you don't need to be a scientist like Gordon to figure this one out. Must buy.

Three great Games (maybe the best of our times) + an excellent Puzzler and Multiplayer (Portal and Team Fortress 2).
Graphics are not the best, but the Depth of Story and the fun while playing is unequaled! There is so much to do and three complete Adventures to play, will give you a long (good) time in front of your 360. ;-)
