The PS3 version may not have reviewed as highly as the Xbox 360 version but it still plays beautifully on the PS3. Everything was automatically set to system settings, therefore everything was in English even the trophies. Really don't understand why it isn't in the States yet. Poor game with an apaulling PS3 port. IF you need this game, get the 360 version. Sega did possibly the pathetically sloppy PS3 port of this game. The load times are astoundingly long. It takes ages to load the cutscenes, ages to load the level, it even freaking has to take 5 seconds to load the menu AND when you pick up a fucking item. The game does NOT have a harddrive install option either, which would help these massive problems. Well done Sega, you idiots.
As for the gameitself, a poor rip off of the style DMC3 created (which Hideki Kamiya had nothing to do with, he just directed the subdued, dull DMC1), the over the top action in Bayonetta steps over the line of silly awesome to try-hard pathetic. The character Bayonetta is bloody annoying and totally unlikeable. The gameplay is a button mash spam fest with frustrating enemies that all look the same and boss battles that are simply trial and error
hack and slash at the finest!!! I'm not a huge fan of devil may cry but this game definitely makes angel cry!! another classic hit from Kamiya Hideki!!!!
Awesome Bayonetta is awesome game if you live the Devil May Cry games or Ninja GHaiden games you will love Bayonetta the PS3 and the XBOX 360 Versions are both awesome but the 360 Version has better lighting and runs at 60FPScompared to the PS3 Version at 30FPS but is is very playable on both PS3 and XBOX 360 FAMITSU scored the PS3 Version 38/40 and the XBOX 360 Version 40/40 but wethere you buy it for XBOX 360 or PS3 you will not be disappointed.
Honestly Surprised The game itself was great - I was expecting it to be cliche and all about the main character's body. The game play was very fluid and the story was similar to things we may have seen before, but was still done properly. My only con about the game was the loading time. It really should have had a install feature to help with and this is why I gave it the 4 stars.
Great Game Bayonetta for the PS3 has been getting a lot of negativity towards it for load times and such, but they aren't bad by any means. The game is flawless and a ton of fun. It's one of the best action games on the PS3 and it will surely be one of the best games this generation. Everything is stylish, smooth, fast, fun, and, let's face it, sexy.
